Stopped by this VIA 313 location for a slice of cheese pizza. It was served warm, fresh with ooegy goeey cheese. Delicious! This restaurant is large and have plenty of booths, tables or you can also choose to sit at the bar.

So I've been going here for a while now. I feel like the service (bar) has always been lacking but it's not the end of the world. I ordered my pizza as a guest as i normally do and saw an offer to sign up and get a free order of cinnamon sticks. As I am processing my order it does not work to redeem my cinnamon sticks. After speaking with the AI bot they have when you call I was able to get someone on the line to express the issue. The lady who answered said there was nothing she could do. After expressing some frustration on how simple a resolve to me sounds, she put me on hold for a bit. A manager answered and said it was no problem to add that onto my order. Great right? Well when I arrive to pick my order of the lady at the bar says since they added the cinnamon sticks that I have to pay a service fee for adding them on. What type of crock is that. Honestly very disappointed how this was handled.

It's been 8 years since I last reviewed Via 313 and I still love it just as much as I did before. But now, it's had a makeover with more, comfortable seating. I like how they have a monthly cocktail menu, though I'm still sad they haven't brought back the Spaghetti Western from winter 2024. Currently the Hot Honey Marg and Apple Charlie's Old Fashioned is the fave. We have really gotten to know one of the waiters well (Ryan) and ask to be seated in his section every time because he's so nice and just a really good server. We can also trust that Ryan will give us solid recommendations when we want to try new cocktails. The Detroiter and Omnivore are still my favorite pizzas to order.

Via 313 in OakHill serves Detroit-style pizza that is known for its rectangular shape and sauce across the top. I love this type of pizza because the cheese and toppings are spread to the very edge and you are not stuck with empty crust. The focaccia-like dough develops a golden crunch on the bottom. They also have bar style pizza, appetizers and salads. When we arrived, we were greeted and accompanied to a table in the dining area. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating and make recommendations for the first timers in out party. There is also a bar area with a variety of beer, cocktail and wine. We went during the happy hour and they had several drink specials and I tried the white peach sangria. It wasn't a typical wine sangria as I am accustomed to but was crafted by the bartender. There were other $5 appetizers, $5 wine and $6 cocktails to choose from. Because it was someone in our party's first time to try Via 313, the waiter brought over a complementary order of cheese bread with marinara sauce to start the meal. Had the Omnivore Detroit style pizza with natural casing Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom, Onion, Green Pepper. I removed the onion and green pepper and added olives. The pizza had a nice crispy crust and generous amounts of cheese and toppings. I enjoyed the pizza very much.

This is one of our go to places for pizza and it never disappoints. We had the Meatballs for an appetizer. They are really delicious. The meatballs are cooked and seasoned just right, but what makes this so good, is the marinara sauce. It's not your typical "out of the jar" sauce. It tastes like they made it from scratch. I don't know if they did or not...I just know it's dang good. We ordered the Triple Threat Detroit Style Pizza. If you like pepperonis and a little spicy, you'll like this pizza. It was cooked perfectly, with a crispy crust, three different kinds of pepperonis with the edges a little crispy, lots of gooey cheese and delicious marinara sauce. It's so good. The service was excellent. The hostess greeted and welcomed us seated us very quietly. The server came over and welcomed us in and took our drink orders very quickly. He was prompt to take our appetizer and entree order. He brought our appetizer of meatballs out first. When we were finishing up our appetizer he brought our pizza out. He was very attentive and made sure we didn't run out of drinks and had everything we needed. The restaurant is very quaint with a laid back feeling. They have a couple of big screen TV's so you can cheer on your favorite sports team. The restaurant is very clean. This is a nice place to go and enjoy a cold one and chow down on some delicious pizza. We'll continue to be returning customers.

What a place!!! My wife and I were in town for a concert and saw this place and decided to stop. We are so glad we did. The staff is amazing and so friendly! The pizza is some of the best Detroit style I have ever had anywhere! Wish they would combine of these close to where we live!!!

My husband and I had lunch this past Sat at the Oak Hill Via 313. This is the usual Via location that we go to. We were told to seat ourselves as soon as we entered and our waiter was attentive from the start. We ordered the meatball appetizer. The marina sauce is amazing. Wonderful flavor full of spices, like homemade. Loved the seasoning on the toast that comes with the meatballs. My only complaint is that they are usually served steaming hot, but these were barely room temperature. We decided to order the January featured pizza-- a small Triple Threat. It comes with three kinds of pepperoni, including jalapeno pepperoni. The pizza arrived with its usual yummy caramelized edges, but it was not steaming hot like it usually is. I was a bit disappointed in the pizza because you couldn't even taste the jalapeño flavor at all. We normally order the Omnivore and will definitely go back to that the next time we go there. Overall, we were pleased with the service and pace of the meal. The music playing was also fabulous. Great blend of classic rock and grunge. The main thing that kept us from being totally satisfied is that neither our appetizer nor our pizza were hot at all.

I love Via 313! Every time we come our pizza is always fresh and hot - check out the cheese pull! I'm a big fan of their Detroit style pizza, the cheese crunch around the crust really ties it together for me. Our service this time was very quick and attentive, we got a good amount of refills. I can't speak much on ambiance of this location since we went right at opening but in general we always have a good time at Via. I definitely recommend getting Superman ice cream (not pictured this time) since they get it from Michigan (I believe), so it has the actual classic flavors and is not just colored vanilla ice cream. My favorite!

Possibly one of the best shaker Mexican martinis in Austin!
    Nick G.

This is hands-down the best pizza parlor in my 66 years life experience. Just went in again today, first visit after the new remodel. Was immediately greeted by friendly people at the bar, I ordered the Mexican martini, shaker style, and I even got a choice to get it Adult style with olive juice, which I immediately opted for. I don't know who the young lady bartender is, but they better keep her! This was about the best dry Mexican martini I have ever had! Dry, smooth, and strong! And the olive was not too salty. It was about as perfect as it can get! I took the pizza and salad home, And as usual the via 313 magic on the pan Pizza does not let me down! The salad was also perfect ( don't forget to order the croutons and Parmesan crisps on the side if you are getting it to go )This really is the best pizza on the planet and I will be going back again and again and again for more!

    The overcooked pizza

I would give it a two but my servers were great-both of them named "Grace". I originally ordered the funkadelic chicken. The chicken simply did not look fresh and it also appeared dry and without seasonings. However, the overall pizza looked good. I told the waiting staff at the bar that I don't like the way the chicken looks and she informed me that she would grab a manager. The manager, Travis comes out and I give him the same explanation above and he tells me the chicken is packaged but not frozen and that he would discount me for the chicken so they don't waste a pizza- excuse me?!?! No, I don't want the pizza as I'm not going to eat the chicken. I ordered basically the same pizza without the chicken and it came out completely overcooked. I'm wondering why Travis didn't ensure that the pizza was correct knowing I didn't have a good experience. It also took terribly long for the pizza to come out. The manager, Travis never came back to follow up with me. However, Grace was amazing and apologized after she noticed the pizza and that it was over cooked. I'm almost convinced they took the chicken off and used the same crust. I'm not sure if I'll returned due to management or lack there off. If I do, it will be because the "Grace" of God.

All of them were great! Hubby enjoyed the fish and chips and the spray bottle with malt vinegar! Such a fun touch, nice and crispy, and the chips were crunchy and delicious. I actually really liked my chicken sandwich. While it looks standard, it was such a good bite, super filling, and since gluten free, I got a side salad which was nice and simple and light. The Reuben was GREAT! I was so excited I could have it since on a gluten free bun. The corned beef wasn't super greasy or heavy or too salty which I really appreciated, and the aioli was great to balance out all other parts of the sandwich. The slaw, pickles, everything were all so good, and definitely worth getting in the future! And our kiddo demolished the burger in a heartbeat! The restaurant's "landlocked life, coastal state of mind" concept comes through in the menu, featuring seafood-forward dishes, creative cocktails, and Gulf-inspired flavors. I ordered a custom crafted Black Cherry Muddled Mezcal Margarita, which was a great balance of smoky mezcal, sweetness, and fresh flavors. It was a unique twist on a classic margarita and was the highlight of the meal. I started with the Roasted Carrots, served with whipped ricotta, watercress, date vinaigrette, and candied pecans. While the combination of flavors was interesting, the dish felt more like a salad than a true roasted carrot dish. The carrots were also a bit overcooked, and I would have preferred for the carrots themselves to be the main focus and shine as the highlight of the dish. For my entrée, I ordered the Cioppino and customized it by removing the clams and adding extra mussels. The dish featured mussels, white fish, shrimp, and chopped clams in a flavorful tomato broth served with grilled sourdough. The seafood was well prepared, however the broth was a bit too thick like a marinara consistency but had good rich and savory flavor. The restaurant was not very busy during my visit, which made for a relaxed dining experience. The atmosphere is casual yet polished, and it's a nice spot for anyone looking for coastal flavors without having to leave Austin.

I have no idea how they make them, but they were SOOOOOO GOOD!!! I got the Waygu Sirloin as my main course and my friends got the Coconut Curry Squash. I enjoyed my steak and my friends liked their dish as well. We also shared the Roasted Beet Salad, which was fresh and tasty. Overall, can't wait to go back! 10 out of 10!!!

I wanted to like this restaurant, but they made it hard to do. We started off with the guacamole…read more The pomegranate seeds on top were a nice touch, but man, this was flavorless. It was painfully boring. We had our 6-year-old, who is head of the Picky Eaters Society, so we ordered bread with butter. This 6-year-old, who eats bread on the daily, took one bite and wouldn't eat any more. We even get gluten-free bread regularly, and he eats it. The bread was fine, but don't expect flavor. By some miracle, they even made butter tasteless. I considered calling the Vatican to see if this was some holy, divine miracle, but my wife suggested maybe the main course would be better. We settled on the pesto pasta with chicken added for an additional fee. The pasta was good. Great texture, good flavor, and the combination of ingredients was good, but it's nothing original. It's pesto pasta. It's a classic. I appreciate the pomegranate seeds on the guacamole because it's original, it's clever, and it's different. We also ordered a special soda drink for our son, and it had a small black bug on top. I had them take it back and replace it. I kind of expected a "Listen, we apologize for the bug. Here's half off dinner," or something, but nothing. Service was fine, and it's a decent atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to sit and talk it's a great place, but if you want food or a drink go somewhere else.

We were looking for a good brunch spot after missing breakfast at our hotel and found Dish Society…read morethrough Yelp. It ended up being one of our favorite meals during our trip. The restaurant has a bright, polished, and inviting atmosphere that feels modern while still being comfortable. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions and make recommendations. One feature I really liked was the ordering process. You can either order at the counter or sit at your table and scan the QR code to place your order, which was quick and convenient. The complimentary coffee and water refills were also a nice touch. I ordered the Farmer's Breakfast, and it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My daughter chose the Nutella French Toast. She really enjoyed it, although it was a little sweeter than I personally prefer. Overall, the food was fresh, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere made for a relaxing brunch. If you are looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot, Dish Society is definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I love the Mueller location, so we decided to try this one for a change. The menu is…read morethe same, and I imagine the quality of most dishes is usually comparable. We typically enjoy ordering the skillet, but unfortunately, we had a very strange experience during this visit. Even though we were the only customers there, it took around 20 minutes for our food to come out. When it finally arrived, the skillet was completely cold to the touch, and every bite was room temperature. We were genuinely confused, and it was one of the few times we felt the need to send a dish back. Because of that experience, we likely would not return to this particular location, especially when we've had consistently better visits at the Mueller one.
