Food is good. A bit dry, service took a while for our food to arrived specially the eggs Benedict. Ambiance is good for chill brunch.

Such a gem of a place in the Pearl District. This neighborhood favorite consistently serves great food in a quaint atmosphere. Its corner location across from Tanner Springs Park makes for a wonderful setting, inside and out. We regularly get lunch here and the salads are fabulous. The service is also great. Highly recommend!

I think this might be my go-to dessert spot this summer. Reasonably priced gelato at $3.85. Lots of options and basically now I'll need to try each flavor. Super friendly staff with a good sense of humor, which is appreciated. Cute inside seating with a giant tree (it's the nature in me). They also have some outside and there's the park across the street to enjoy your gelato.

We had some time to kill in the area and happened to discover this small restaurant. We were looking a an iced coffee at the time and discovered that the Starbucks around the corner had closed. It's a small corner restaurant with in door and outdoor seating. The inside is quaint with fake trees in an area designed as a European courtyard. It was a relaxed vibe. They serve coffees, gelato, wines and a food menu. I can't speak to the food, but it was a hot day and the staff recommended an Affogoto; Italian espresso poured over a scoop (traditionally) of vanilla ice cream or gelato. My husband went the traditional route and I ordered mine over cookies and cream gelato. It was such a refreshing treat! My husband actually ordered a second one to go and I had a Doppio shot of espresso to go. Yes. (86 can assume we liked it!! We definitely would be back when we are in the area.

This is a great option if you are wanting a weekend brunch place that doesn't have a wait and has easy nearby parking. Pre-Covid I am sure this was not true, but sadly The Pearl is not what it used to be, which in this case worked to our advantage. We dined here at prime brunch time on a Saturday. I had made a reservation, but it really was not necessary, as it was not that busy.  We ordered the Pearl Benedict, and the Frienze. I really enjoyed my omelette, but friend was disappointed in here Benedict as it said it came with brioche, but her's had the same boring piece of bread that came with my omelette. You expect an Italian place to have amazing bread but it was nothing short of what you get in the grocery store. Both dishes seemed very similar. The only difference is the Benedict had a poached egg, but the vegetables and the sauce seemed to be the same.

Everything was amazing about this place! The food came out very quick, and was really tasty and flavorful. I ordered the sangria, and for $10 this was an amazing deal. The service was very quick and the entire restaurant had a calming and relaxing ambiance.

I've been to southern Italy (Amalfi Coast) and the authenticity shines through. Piazza's menu is northern Italian and traditional the Italian American marriage we all know and love. It's what Olive Garden promises: to treat you like an Italian family member. When you walk in most of the employees snipe at each other in Italian. Cured meats hang from the ceiling and soccer plays in the background. That's like every actual Italian restaurant I've been to. Their wine list is simple and ultimately not that impressive. It's there to accentuate the food. They have a solid spritz. Whether you choose a dish with fresh pasta or dried (they serve both, depending on the dish) it'll be prepared beautifully. I've been coming here for years and I've tried nearly every one on the menu. Last night I even shook it up and got it delivered: the quality still held. I understand the use of cream and cheese in these dishes but it lacked some freshness that I would have hoped from a classic spot such as this. Maybe there's some better dishes to order but our first impression was not great.
