Great service and good vibes . Had the paccheri and it was delicious! It was filling so I got to get some wrapped to go. John our server was attentive and kind. Everything here is made with attention to detail and flavor. Personally when thinking of Italian food this is the first place that comes to mind! Can't wait to go back !

Nothing beats a sweet ending to a meal!

I've been a frequent visitor of Robbie's establishments from Osteria Crescendo to PastaRAMEN, so Viaggio was a must for me. It didn't disappoint. From the appetizers to the entrees and dessert, all stellar. The only miss here was the beginning phase of service - it took a bit longer than one would want or expect for front house to open our bottles of wine (BYO FTW!) but then failed to pour for us. But not a total back breaker here. The bread was a bit stale and not even drenching it in olive oil helped. Outside of the minor details, this restaurant is lights out and worth the trip wherever you're coming from. It's my second time here and won't be my last!

Came here on Valentine's Day. Had a lovely dinner with great food. Tried the hanger steak which was really good. I will say that I tried 2 of theirs desserts and thought they could have done better with them. Still a very nice dinner overall.

This was our third visit and the food keeps getting better!!! Everything was so tasty and delicious! Our server was friendly, attentive, didn't rush us and answered all our questions. They came around often to fill water glasses (love this)! The place was hopping! The decor emanates an Italian villa in the countryside. Everyone at our table was impressed! BYO.

Not as good as I remembered it but pasta was delicious, all homemade. Service was pleasant. The decor is a lightly lit dining room with modern touches. I don't recommend the octopus, it was slightly overdone. The brussels sprouts were underdone for my taste.

Even though I live in town, this was my first time visiting Viaggio since they opened almost 10 years ago. The chef owns several other restaurants in Westwood, NJ. Restaurant week was what brought us in for a date night dinner. I started with the calamari fritti, which was excellent and my favorite dish by far. For my main dish, I had the linguini and clams. The linguini had a little spice to it, and our waiter mentioned it was the only pasta that wasn't made in-house. We also split an additional pasta dish, the paccheri, which was not part of the special menu. For dessert, I had gelato which was also very good. Service was attentive and very upscale. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, making it a romantic spot that tends to get busy. The open kitchen is visible from the dining area, which adds a nice touch to the experience. It's BYOB and located in a strip mall, which is a bit unexpected given the upscale vibe. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but I knew that before visiting. The restaurant week menu offered decent value. Overall, I'd recommend Viaggio for a special night out or date night.

Absolutely fantastic! Came with a group and shared so many dishes. Everything was so perfectly prepared and seasoned and excellent service. A must go!! Loved this place! I didn't get proper pics of the desserts as we ate them too fast! Key lime cheesecake was outstanding.

Viaggio - Wayne, NJ Viaggio is clearly aiming for high-end NYC-style Italian dining--but unfortunately, it misses the mark in all the wrong places. I came with a party of six, and we were each given one piece of bread. No butter, just a small dish of olive oil with a lemon twist. For a restaurant charging $22 for a kid's bowl of plain spaghetti (with no sauce), you'd think bread wouldn't be rationed like gold. Spoiler: the bread wasn't even good. I had the short rib-stuffed pasta--$32 for seven small pieces. Tasted freshly made, yes, but the portion was laughably small. Others in the group had linguini with garlic and clam sauce--tasty, but again, not nearly enough. Not even a little extra bread to mop up the sauce. The place tries so hard to be a fine-dining spot, but in the end, it's just overpriced and underwhelming. The menu is as limited as the portions, and the dessert selection felt like an afterthought. The interior is clean, and the waitress/hostess was polite and professional--that's where the compliments end. This place wants to be upscale Manhattan. But it's Wayne, NJ. Epic fail.

Delicious food and rustic ambience. We loved getting to try 3 courses through the prefix menu. We will definitely be back for more. BYOB.

The eggplant parm is quite good but always somewhat lacking in cheese,…read morewhich puts it a notch below some others in the area, but their sauce is one of the better ones in the area. One time I was sent the wrong order, which had a chicken parm in it, which was excellent, and I normally don't eat chicken parm. They have whole grain penne, which I appreciate. I love the mussels. Maybe a bit salty, but the mussels are always fresh and the sauce is very flavorful. Veal princepesa is also quite good but portion is pretty small so that shouldn't be the only thing someone would expect to eat. Also, the best eggplant sandwich with basil, roasted peppers and mozzarella. Packaging is always the best around.

My husband and I went a few months ago and the owner or manager was working because he said he was…read moreshort staffed. He seemed overwhelmed and we were the only two people in the restaurant the first 45 minutes. When our food came it was cold. We decided to go last night to give it another try and the owner or manager was by the register in front with a female employee who was the hostess. We asked for a booth and told the hostess we did not have a reservation. She didn't even have time to respond when he snapped that the Booths were all reserved. We would have been fine at a table but his lousy attitude caused us to immediately walk out . We ended up finding a place right up the street called Positano's that seated us, served us with courtesy and smiles and the food was delicious!!! We are early birds and by the time we left it was packed with a line waiting To be seated. We will never go back to Bensi but will certainly go back to Positano's.
