In a word awful. The flow into and out of this store is terrible. You must skirt through a narrow walkway to the counter where you get in line. Once in line the people who have ordered turn and walk directly into the faces of those trying to order. Hardly any room to get through. Counter service was unfriendly bordering on discourteous. Worst of all the display case was FULL of flying bugs that looked like some kind of fly. The bugs were alive and well and were well illuminated by the light for the baked goods. Literally dozens of bugs in both display cases with the food. Yuck! The cleanliness in general was poor to fair in the rest of the store. Coffee was fair but overpriced even compared to Starbucks. I decided to write a review after visiting the Vibe a few times. I have tried a few of their pastries and coffees. If you like strong coffee this is the place to get it. Their coffee is stronger then Starbucks. Unfortunately, they use powder for their mocha instead of sauce. I returned the iced mocha and the barista made me a hazlenut coffee. It was excellent. This place is Sooo cute! Exposed brick, metal ceiling tiles, and wood floring give this place such charm that you don't want to leave. Not to mention it is connected to a herb and olive oil market which sells natural and local products. They were out of the cold brew coffee but the iced Americano did not disappoint and the staff were super friendly. I will definitely be back to try out some of their other menu items! read more

With no Starbucks to be found in at least a 30 mile radius from the interstate, I found the most adorable coffee shop just 2.3 miles off of I-65 thanks to Yelp. It was in the cutest "Public Square" too. The hubs and I stopped in and looooved the ambiance! I ordered the Belgium White Chocolate latte as referred by the barista based on what I described I was in the mood for and it was perfect. Their pastry display all looked scrumptious so of course i had to get a lemon blueberry scone as well. The bathroom was clean and decorated very cool...also a plus when driving through towards the end of our 8 hour drive. If you live in Elizabethtown and you need a coffee throughout the day there is no point in going to a corporate chain when you have an awesome place like Vibe available! I love their coffees, their teas, their sandwiches, just the whole atmosphere. It's a young, friendly staff, very fitting to the coffee shop scene. Very few coffee shops offer a substantial food item outside of the usual round of sweets so I was surprised when the cashier told me about the ham biscuit they have. It was a good suggestion, filling, and paired with the medium roast made for the perfect option for a to go or quick sit down meal. I dig the ambience of the place and wished the shop was open to explore that a bit as it seemed to offer a different experience with additional merch. I love coming to Vibe Coffee Shop! It is so relaxing and the people there are very nice. Prices are MUCH better than that other coffee shop that sees stars! The worker there looked like she absolutely hated being there, but ya know, some people have bad days, so that was whatever. I ordered my usual strawberry, banana, and peanut butter smoothie, paid, and sat down. Apparently I should have informed her that I would've liked one more ingredient in my smoothie. Ice. That was the most watered down thing I have ever tasted and it had the same consistency as juice. It wasn't like it had been sitting on the counter forever, I got it as soon as she was setting it down. It tasted off and when my boyfriend tasted it, he said it tasted sour. They do have good drinks and food. That's when the food is fresh. We ordered a cinnamon roll once and without asking an employee gave us a discounted one that was a little burned and dried out. I was willing to pay full price for a good one. Anyways my biggest issue with this place is the owner comes across as very rude and that's more important to me than how the food taste. She hardly speaks to customers and shows no gratitude for her customers. Doesn't participate in any of the free events downtown just the ones that money goes towards. We came as a family of four and within the span of 1 hour 15 min. our order was still not completed. While we were waiting the girl making the drinks was doing other people's orders who came after us. She would stop our orders in the middle to make someone else's more complicated drink. By one hour my brother still didn't have his coffee or his fruit bowl. When we had to leave we cancelled the rest of the order and she didn't apologize. All in all, they need more employees (and more friendly) and better service. read more

Cozy sitting and baristas are friendly! It's attached to health food store owned by the same couple. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The drinks are always hot and the atmosphere is perfect for a small coffee shop in the square.

Please check out this incredibly well restored space on the square and support this business. My first impression was overall positive because of the kind and courteous barista and the great space. We ordered one almond milk mango smoothie and one cow's milk mango smoothie, they are around $5+ each and large portions. I am going to try this one more time because unfortunately both of our smoothies were really bad. We should have spoken up and asked for the drinks to be corrected, and I honestly attributed the flub to being new/maybe they just weren't made correctly. I was not expecting a super sweet dessert like smoothie, but they had absolutely no sweetness or mango flavor. I will definitely update my review after a second try and do not mean to be negative because I really like this place and look forward to trying other things. If you can't get a spot right out front there is a free municipal lot behind the building and there is a rear entrance through the Heartland Whole Life grocery. When 'vacationing' during a hurricane that's probably going to destroy your home, what do you do? Drive to Elizabethtown and catch up on college work for 4 days and drink expensive coffee. I like a dark roast when death is reaching its claws towards my face on certain mornings and one of the things I did like was that their beans weren't acidic. The coffee was smooth and flavorful. Also, everyone is nice. I don't know how people are so early in the morning but they were. I didn't eat any of the breakfast foods but their small bakery items looks absolutely amazing. read more
