We had a party of 15, Morgan was our server. She handled all 15 of us perfectly. All the way from drinks, appetizers, main course, desserts and coffees. We kind of ask for better service. This is a 5. This was our first time here. I am really impressed not only with the service but the cleanliness of the restaurant and the bathrooms. There is an outside patio with umbrellas. And many televisions. Great for watching the bronco games. Thanks. Morgan, for making our experience wonderful and handling our party amazingly

Our server Samantha W. was excellent / good recommendations and friendly. Our food arrived quickly and was very good. Location of restaurant was easy access and the footprint inside was large and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Wow, wow, this is how a restaurant should treat their customers so that they will spread the good word about their eating experience here, and then to come back in the near future! My husband and I went here to celebrate his birthday and Father's Day this afternoon. We were promptly seated without a reservation at one of the table on the patio to enjoy the fresh air. We started off with an order of garlic knots and Italian /chicken lettuce wraps. We asked about the honey dipping sauce and were told it was on a spicy side, so we skipped paying the extra $2 for it. However, our waitress wanted us to try it, so the honey was on the house. And, boy, that honey dip sauce was indeed very spicy! And the wraps? It was delicious! Fresh cherry tomatoes with diced chicken breast and bean plus seasonings. We loved the dish and finished everything on the plate except for the 3 sauces. We ordered our main entrees after finishing our appetizers. I had the Linguini & Clams, while my husband ordered the Rigatoni & Sausage. What a disappointment my Linguini & Clams dish was to me. The lack of flavor from one of my favorite dishes made me sad. I was looking forward to it. Adding hot pepper flakes, then black pepper, and the worst was adding salt. If this dish were to be prepared correctly, I would have been happy to eat it all. However, I gave up after adding my own spices. The Rigatoni & Sausage dish? OMG, out of this world! The red sauce with the meat sauce smothering the pasta was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. I'd wished I ordered that dish, but at least I was able to try a couple of bites. When the bill came, our waitress said she took off the clam dish because I didn't like it. THIS, this! is how they gained a new customer! I'll come back and will give them my business. Thank you for treating this customer right and making sure my eating experience will be different the next time I dine here.

Date night with another couple who really like Abrusci's Fire and Vine. We're not huge Italian fans, but are always down to discover the magic that others see. Gorgeous place, loved the decor and clean lines - lots of minimalistic touches and wood accents. The one "less than" choice that affected our night was where we were seated. We sat tucked into a corner, against a wall and nestled up to the kitchen. One way in, one way out. Sadly, it was very loud and likely the only place that appeared cluttered and a departure from the rest of the clean lines. While it wasn't the best, we still enjoyed our meal, had great conversation and had our backs to the dining room but peering into the prep area. Maybe rethink this seating layout? That aside, our food was delicious. We shared calamari and cocktails. My penne pasta Gorgonzola was amazing. Maybe I like Italian a little more than I thought, lol. Just not that back corner table!

It looked more like a Chinese restaurant than a pizza joint--red tablecloths, wine glasses, neon signs, a random Christmas tree, and tons of weird little decorations. We legit thought we were in the wrong spot. The menu was labeled as pizza and pasta, but there weren't many options for either. The combos were kind of all over the place--lamb, octopus, pork--so we tried to keep an open mind. But once the food came... yeah, it didn't get better. The pizza dough tasted frozen and was super soggy. The pasta dish was mostly meat with barely any pasta, and the meat wasn't even good. It just wasn't it. Wouldn't go back.

We tried the following this time: Burrata e Pomodori Luxuriously creamy Burrata cheese, complemented by fresh basil, juicy tomatoes, and a drizzle of olive oil. A simple yet divine start. Costolette di Agnello e Asparagi Juicy lamb chops paired with crisp asparagus, delivering rich, aromatic flavors that melt in your mouth. Branzino al Vino Bianco Pan-seared seabass with olives, butter, lemon, black risotto. 10" Margherita Mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, and basil on a perfectly crisp crust--classic simplicity done right. Mini Cannoli Homemade Ricotta Filing with mini Chocolate chip, stuffed with maraschino cherries, shell imported from Italy, and sprinkled with Powdered Sugar & Cinnamon. The favorite of the night was the Branzino. Definitely order this and their Burrata. The Mini Cannoli with the big flavor gets a two thumbs up as well.

The concept of it being inside a home is very interesting. The food here is amazing especially their Caesar Salad. That salad was so delicious we wanted to order some to go. Now the reason why this place is getting three stars because 1. The service here is horrible! 15-25 minute wait for our server to come back around and check in on us. It wasn't just us either but it was everyone else in the room. Saw a couple that waited about 25 minutes just to be checked up on after being seated. We also never asked for our bill yet and it was given to us without us asking. We wanted to order more food after our entree. Hence why we never got to order our Caesar salad. 2. This one was the most disappointing part of our dinner. We ordered tiramisu for our dessert, once served I noticed a glossy chunky on it, assuming it was maybe crystallized sugar. Wrong. It was a chunk of ice!! The tiramisu WAS STILL FROZEN!! For 12 bucks I can get some better tiramisu at king soopers, Safeway, or any other restaurant honestly. 3. There was an ant in my drink, and we weren't compensated for that. We paid 4 dollars for an ant drink.

The house wines are okay but not spectacular if you know wine (to be expected for $9) but their Sangiovese was divine ($18). All the food was delicious. We got the Wagyu meatballs on happy hour, the bread and leek butter was insane! I'd eat that butter with a spoon. And the margarita pizza had fresh mozzarella and was so yummy and also on happy hour. I've been before and only got the cesear salad which I didn't prefer because the candied lemon was odd but I have a whole new perspective with this round of food! Really delicious. Service was great! No complaints. Also love that it's on kind! It did fill up quickly but we were a walk in at 5:30PM and it was fine

So I guess Gusto and Cholon recently merged together at Sloans Lake. While the concept is good, the…read moreexecution is not. We made reservations for 6:15 on a Friday night and when we walked in it was about 30% full. The hostess walked us around the corner and tried to seat us literally right next to the bathrooms where you can see into the bathrooms while you eat. She was like "how's this table?" And my husband was like "uhhh do you have any booths available away from the bathrooms?" She responded with "well, we have a lot of reservations coming in, let me go check" I looked at her and said "well ARE your reservations!" She ended up coming back and seating us by the windows where "Cholon" used to be, which was fine by us. The booths near us and the window seats next to us continued to stay empty until we left around 7:30. I was in a bad mood from them trying to seat us IN THE BATHROOM, but decided to move on and order some of my Cholon favorites. I look at the menu and I'm shocked with the prices because I know the size of the portions. AND they didn't have Kaya Toast! That is the thing I always order at Cholon! So we order the waygu beef satay ($18) to start and it wasn't good at all. The beef was tough and chewy. The sauce was weird. We didn't finish it. For our entrees I ordered the Olathe corn agnolotti dish that was good, but wasn't worth $28. My husband ordered the super Tuscan pizza which he liked but I found super oily. We were waffling on whether to get dessert because everything had been pretty meh. We decided to get the palisade peach cannoli tart to-go (I didn't want to sit in that place any longer). We got home and when I tell you this dessert was bad... IT WAS BAD. There was literally not a hint of sweetness. The peaches weren't ripe. The cheese they used wasn't sweetened AND I think it had like a basil balsamic glaze on it or something because this was the most savory "dessert" I had ever had. We each took and bite and threw that $15 monstrosity into the garbage. Whoever okayed that to be on the menu should be fired. I was honestly upset we spent $150 for dinner and another $80 for a babysitter for such a disappointing dinner. Side story: I was talking to my friend who lives in Sloans Lake about how bad our dinner at Gusto was. And she said "that place sucks! They sat us RIGHT NEXT TO THE BATHROOMS, and the whole place was empty!" When I told her the same thing happened to us she continued on to say they had made reservations and the hostess said, "all the other tables are reserved." And my friend said "we have reservations!" But alas, they didn't move her and she ate by the bathrooms.
