Great little spot my husband and I came across right down the street from where we live! The atmosphere is relaxed and casual with a cozy sitting area inside or picnic tables you can hang out at outside. Service was amazing and they have tiki nights as well as trivia games for everyone! The seasonal drinks were delicious and the quality of the ingredients are excellent.

Yum! This place was great. The bartender was very kind and the drinks were incredible. We were visiting from out of town and were very happy to have stumbled upon this place just a mile from our hotel. Will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again

Tiki bar that does not want you to use the cups.

Please, Really state when you are closed. While we understand we showed up at 8:50. We thought we could come in for a nightcap since we are from Arizona and heard about how great the tiki drinks and rum was. When we arrived, Four people inside sitting at then bar having a good time. Six people with pretty full drinks outside we thought we would be able to come in for some signature drinks. Immediately turned away. Disappointed and wanted to share that we are so happy you are making so much money that you can turn away people. There was four is us so for another couple of minutes could pull in -what 100 dollars. Nonetheless it was what it was. Good luck.

3rd time's a charm. Just kidding, only had one of those. :)

Top notch drinks, great atmosphere and super friendly service. An instant neighborhood favorite. Try the Hemingway Daiquiri.

Okay - love love love this place! My partner sat down and said it was the best Old Fashion he has ever had. The staff was so friendly and answered all of our questions. The cocktails were delicious and you can bring your own food into the restaurant. They also only serve alcohol they make in house!

Ballmer Peak is still the shiznet, well over two years later. And, they continue to add creative new innovations to their drink menu. In fact, their drink menu is based on seasons and the availability of local ingredients. Um, score. We've had our traditional favorites as well as tried new creations each time we've visited - the best of both worlds! And this past summer, Ballmer Peak offered outdoor movie nights paired with drinks and snacks. I'm fairly certain they'll bring these back with some tweaks and my goal is to attend one - with our without my travel happy partner, lol. What a cool offering and great way to support local. Summer nights, yummy drinks and a movie? Sign me up. If you're remotely close to Lakewood or neighboring town, do yourself a favor and stop by. We never had a bad experiment or a bad drink with these guys. Always a great time. Your choices matter and you vote with your dollars.... and supporting local matters. So go - you'll thank me later.

Super fun distillery! We went here thanks to the passbook and really enjoyed the drinks we got. The menu is comprehensive and unique. We can't wait to return!

I was seeking out a distillery to check out. I was very interested in visiting as many as I can but this was the only one that I could find the time to visit. We stopped here and it was getting ready to storm. Pulled up and the place from the outside is very small. Walk in and they have a bar area with seating and a small area in the back. We sat in the back. My wife purchased a cocktail, I sampled several of the different spirits I had the spiced rum neat. It was clear, didn't have the usual spice that you receive from a spice rum but I liked it. The golden rum was superb and tasted like a friends rum who just got started in the distillery business in Florida. I was really intrigued how the two tasted so much a like. One of the owners I believe explained some of my questions that I had on the aging of their products. He mentioned that the county, location has a specific stipulation on how long they can age because the local fire department says it's flammable and restricts them from aging over a longer period of time. 2 years is almost the limit. He plans on getting another location in the future to allow them longer periods of aging. An area that is t constricted so much. It is a hidden gem in Colorado that offer a small batch but great list of products. Recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

Small little place but very homey! They have a good happy hour and unique drink options! There is also a cute outdoor space as well! I changed neighborhoods so not as convenient for me but would go again if I was looking for a cocktail at a quiet bar on a week night!

We stopped in here after a hike and were not disappointed! The decor inside is tiki-themed (as advertised on their website) but had a modern twist. There is a simple patio outside with a good amount of shade. They have a pretty extensive cocktail menu, ensuring that just about anyone can find something they will enjoy. We tried the Blackbeard's Bathwater which was delicious and refreshing, and the Black Sky which was stronger but very smooth and brought out the flavors in their spirits. The drinks were all very reasonably priced for a cocktail bar as well. Definitely worth a visit!

We were excited to try them because they said they made their own juice, which I believe, but it may have gone sour or something. It was almost prepared like an Asian dish. However the service was awesome. The ambiance is cute but I wouldn't recommend it for a super hot day because the restaurant is indoor/outdoor

When he came conform our dinner order I told him the couple of things I was considering and he suggested the Reuben. I asked about the French onion soup and he said it's usually good but sometimes the kitchen doesn't pay attention and it gets really salty. Said they'd taste it to make sure. My friend had a side of Mac and cheese and the pulled pork sandwich. He brought the Mac and cheese and soup out first. The soup was way too salty and the Mac and cheese didn't have much flavor but the sandwiches were good. When I told him the soup was too salty he pretty much said yeah I told you it could happen. No apology no offer to remove it from the bill, nothing just kind of an I told you so. That was frustrating. All in all dinner was average but it was pretty cool watching the rain from our seat next to the window and we weren't rushed to leave when we were finished while we waited for the rain to lighten up so we could walk back. The restaurant and bar have a nice bar feel, lots of booths and tables for the size of the dining room, and there's mother bar area I didn't see until we were leaving.

We needed an early dinner in the Belmar area and I noticed the restaurant had a branch there, so we decided to check it out. What a smart decision that was! The space is absolutely beautiful with a large outdoor patio and a gorgeous interior which goes very successfully for a coastal Baja California vibe. Seating was very comfortable. The staff was particularly welcoming when we said it was our first visit. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and very efficient. We never felt neglected although the restaurant got extremely busy toward the end of our visit. There were many interesting drinks on the menu. I started with the Elderflower Prickly Pear Margarita. This was fresh, unusual, and delicious. A nice change from the typical margarita. I enjoyed it. The menu is not huge. It includes many of the usual suspects: a good selection of tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, a quesadilla, bowls, and some neat combination plates. We started with the usual chips and salsa. I also ordered the Guacamole. The chips were crispy and the salsa was excellent with a nice level of heat. The guacamole was fabulous. A large portion of very chunky avocado, beautifully seasoned. We attacked that with enthusiasm and scraped every speck out of the bowl. My girlfriend went with the Double Decker Taco Plate. This came with two huge, house-marinated, carne asada (steak) tacos, black bean puree, lettuce, jack and white cheddar, guajillo (red chili sauce) ranch, and pico--neatly served in a corn tortilla wrapped in a flour tortilla. There was also a dish of rice and black beans. I'm having trouble describing how delicious these tacos were. A perfect combination of flavors with meat that was very tender and extremely flavorful. No shortcuts here, just cooking from the heart. I wanted to try several things so I ordered the Nomada's Best of Plate. A Birria Taco, Chicken Enchilada (green sauce), and Crispy Carnitas (shredded, crisped, braised pork) plus rice and beans. Again, the flavors were amazing. This kitchen really understands low and slow. The meats were all tender, lucious, and deeply flavored. I enjoyed every bite. The portions were generous. We took home three boxes of leftovers and can't wait for lunch time so we can enjoy them. This is an exceptional restaurant, well-run in every aspect. There are three convenient locations around town: this one in Belmar, another in Olde Town Arvada, and a third in Central Park. What are you waiting for? Check this out now!
