Food is great, service was awesome with waitress Max C, and loved the ambiance. Will definitely come back to enjoy the restaurant again

We were in the area for the weekend and found this place on yelp. The menu had me at pesto deviled eggs and lavender bees knees. Our meal was delicious, we loved that they had at least 10 tv's with a different game playing on each tv, sublime was playing in the background while we ate , and Cristin our server and bar tender did a great job. For my second drink I requested a cucumber martini with Hendricks, something that isn't on the menu but should be! It was delicious, perfectly balanced!

Stopped in for lunch with my son having never been here before. We were pleasantly surprised by a menu with lots of food and cocktail options and fast friendly service. It was pretty packed on a Friday at lunchtime, which I think it a good sign that they are reliably tasty. My cocktail was unique and our sandwiches were really delicious. I'd pick the fries over the chips next time, and there will definitely be a next time.

Nice juicy fat burgers. Crispy tasty chicken wings. Good beer selection. Good service. TVs to watch the game.

We decided to check this place out for restaurant week ($35 tier), and I think it's safe to say we'll be back! Service was quick, but not rushed. Food was plentiful and delicious (hot shrimp, apple & squash salad, steak frites, the night's special prime rib, steak salad, s'mores pot de creme, and bread pudding)! Drinks were hit (spritz & giggles) & miss (dead flowers - my husband said he couldn't taste the lavender). We also weren't kept to the 1.5hr time limit since their tables had cleared out by the time we finished eating, but be aware they do limit you if they're a busy as they were when we arrived at 6:30p on a Saturday.

Overall, I found our lunch at the Cast Iron Tavern to be expensive and underwhelming. They are dog friendly on their patio, which is a huge plus, but the patio is not shaded and it just bakes in the sun. Our server was super friendly and is the reason that I gave it three stars instead of two the food was just OK my husband and I split a wedge salad and a burger And my son had the kids chicken tenders and fries. I was really surprised that they charged us for a side of barbecue sauce for his fries. I have never been to a restaurant that charges for a single side of sauce with chicken tenders, but I guess the Cast Iron Tavern is it. The only way I could really see us going back is if we went for drinks and maybe an appetizer on a shaded day when we had our dog with us, but I don't think that we would order off the full menu again.

The modern world forces a person to make too many final decisions. You must commit to a career, a…read moremortgage, and a twenty-ounce glass of alcohol before you even know if you like the taste of it. The Golden Mill rejects this entire high-stakes arrangement. Instead, they hand you a plastic card embedded with a microchip and invite you to wander around a historic, converted flour mill, conducting small, low-risk experiments on your own nervous and digestive systems. The mechanics are blissfully simple. You hand the host a credit card, they link it to a Golden Mill RFID card, and you instantly become a fully automated, self-regulating consumer. There are forty taps on the main wall downstairs and another sixteen up on the roof. They hold local craft beers, macro brews, ciders, wines, sake and even some premixed cocktails, all metered by the ounce. This setup creates a very specific kind of human delusion. When you are only pouring three ounces of a hazy IPA or two ounces of a heavy stout, your brain convinces itself that the laws of mathematics have been temporarily suspended. They have not. The ounces eventually conspire against you, and the tab can quietly evolve into a profound financial surprise the next morning. If you happen to get hungry during your experiments, there are five different food concepts scattered around the floor, covering everything from wood-fired barbecue and street tacos to sushi and fried chicken. If you are traveling with a group of friends whose dietary preferences have absolutely nothing in common, you can all wander off in different directions like stray livestock and reunite at the same table without a single argument. We took our glasses up to the rooftop patio. The view there is a strange study in scale. Below you is the rushing water of Clear Creek. Directly across the street sits the colossal industrial fortress of the Coors Brewery, churning out millions of barrels of macro-lager for the masses. There is a grand, quiet irony in standing on a roof, meticulously pouring four ounces of a highly specialized, small-batch sour beer while staring at one of the largest single-site breweries on the planet. When you are done, there is no agonizing wait for a server to bring a leather folder, and no competitive arithmetic over how to split the bill. You simply drop your plastic card into a collection box by the door and walk out into the Colorado night. The system automatically tallies your ounces and appends an 18% service fee to keep the house running smoothly. It is a wonderfully frictionless way to watch an afternoon accidentally become an evening.

We placed our order as directed, we weren't told that we'd receive a text or notification when our food was ready, we waited a solid 25 minutes when I finally chose to ask where our food was. It was in fact and had been ready but part of it was wrong and instead of fixing it she decided to tell me "Well I didn't hear that so I don't know what you want me to do". I couldn't even find a manager to tell this about. Probably won't be back sadly.

There's an outdoor garden with plenty of shade. There's indoor sitting as well if you prefer. The service was excellent! The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and let us sample a few beers before we made our selection. We were really in the groove. Enjoying our carefully selected beers, exhausted and hungry, we anxiously awaited our food selection. We decided that we would share a hand tossed, oven fried pizza, ( well that's the image we had in our imaginations). I was already planning on what to drink next, since my first yummy beer was crunching my thirst and hunger at the same time. And then it happened. Our pizza arrived. Right away we could tell it was a frozen pizza, but not the new fancy kinda frozen pizza, you know the ones that are, "not too bad for a frozen pizza", pizza. This was more like, I'm in middle school and, "this is all that's left in the fridge", kinda of frozen pizza. The pizza was so bad that we didn't finish it. The salt and bad sauce ruined the taste of the beers. And my anticipated second beer evaporated into a memory
