Went here on Wednesday May 14th 2026 with my parents for a nice mothers day dinner/night out. Decided to try here because it was italian and we never been here before. Located in a hidden shopping center by 38th Avenue in Myrtle beach (where from the outside there is a zaxbys and mcdonalds). Parking was found in the lot. We walked inside the restaurant. The host greeted us right away and sat us at a table for 3. Our server greeted us right away and was very pleasant. We started with 3 waters, and an appetizer of fried calamari, and mushrooms. On their menu, they have pizza, and plenty of italian fare food such as chicken marsala, franchize, plus lots of fish dishes and pasta dishes as well. Entrees came with soup or salad, as well. Surprised that this restaurant didn't have any mussels with pasta. But more on that later. Fried calamari came out in a timely manner and was very tender and delicious, as well as the mushrooms. Waitress did a great job explaining the specials for the night! Finally, we ordered entrees, I asked if one can order mussels with lingini with tomato sauce with pasta fagoli, and they were able to accommodate that. My mom ordered the gnoochi with salad, and my dad ordered chicken with salad. Soup came out HOT, that it seemed to take forever to cool, but after stirring it a few times, was able to taste it, and it was delicious! Now, of course, soup is supposed to be hot, but i like the convience of eating it right away. Anyways though. Waitress also checked on us constantly and refilled our waters. enjoyed my mussels, and even took a box home, which the waitress wrapped for us. Food was very good. Paid via a gift card and a credit card. waitress was kind and even called the number when she was having trouble processing the card. We were still able to use it for something else, and paid via a credit card. Left a cash tip. Highly recommend trying this restaurant, as it was very enjoyable! read more

I ordered the shrimp scampi which on line was $25.95. When I got there she told me it's $31.16. I asked why it was $6 more than what's on the webpage. She said oh yeah we just updated our Menu pricing and we have to update it online. It's pretty rude that we order to go expecting one price that's literally on the webpage and I showed her that it still says $25.95. She didn't give a crap she just tries to hand me a new to go menu and I said I don't live around here so don't need it. I let her know I'll make sure I leave this in my review that you guys don't honor your prices on your webpage. When I called and ordered over the phone I asked if I can also get calamari added and I'll pay the difference. Apparently they cannot take special orders. The shrimp looks like it would be very flavorful but it's not.... it tasted like they squeeze a lemon over it and put some bread crumbs and garlic but not very flavorful. I showed a picture to my friend and she said it the pasta looks very dry. I said yeah it pretty much is; it tasted like they put a little bit of butter and lemon juice on it. This plate is literally nothing special it's extremely disappointing especially for the price I paid. We had the fried zucchini and the clams casino that were on special to start. The clams came with this delicious sauce I mopped up w the bread they bring when you first sit down. We shared a chicken cutlet w vodka sauce pizza as our main, also delicious. Great crust on the pizza. I had a glass of wine that was only 8.50! Cheap compared to other restaurants. We were visiting Myrtle Beach and didn't want your typical "strip" food. We met a couple while dining at a Thai restaurant in the same place, which was outstanding btw! The couple was from the area and told my boyfriend and I to try Capriccio for dinner. A little scriptural since I'm Italian and cook, we were persuaded to go. We went and weren't disappointed. My boyfriend had the lasagna with extra meat sauce and I had the chicken Sorrento. Both were delicious with portions large enough to take home. We started with the caprese salad and hot bread with herbed olive oil. Delicious We ended dinner with the limoncello cake and a rich mocha caramel cake. Both delicious as well. Second time here. The first time was a Christmas party 23 people. The service was very slow. I ordered the Chicken parm. When it finally came out it was very tough and lukewarm. Decided to give it another try with our neighbors . We ordered the special Chilean Sea Bass. When we received the bill my husband said this can't be correct. The Chilean Sea Bass was $60 for one. That is insane. Shame on us not asking the price before we ordered.. We called the waitress over and we asked her why she didn't tell us the price and she said they don't want to offend the customer. If I knew it was $60 I would've never ordered it. They have prices on everything else on their menu except the special. In my opinion the waitress should've told us the price. We asked to speak to the owner. He came over said the same thing they don't tell the price they don t want to offend the customer. That is bullshit to me. We got into a heated argument over the hidden price and he was very rude and keep saying do you know how much Sea Bass is. I will NEVER go back again. Not because of the food because of the Owner. I went in for my usual lasagna and what came out was 2 stuffed noodles. Round and not flat like lasagna always is. Way too much ricotta. I told them it wasn't lasagna and they said it was. It was borderline not edible. I have always enjoyed it here today but now they have lost a customer. I should have taken a picture. They sent a waitress out to talk to me not the chef. Capriccios has very good food, especially the Veal Parm. The tables are not huge and don't expect a fancy dining atmosphere, but if you want good Italian food and good service, be sure to put this restaurant on your Myrtle Beach list of places to eat. In town for a weekend getaway with my husband and we were looking for dinner within a few miles of our resort. We are so happy we decided to have Italian because this is the best we have ever had in the Carolinas. The serving sizes are big enough to take leftovers home for another meal and the service... absolutely top notch. We had a great server and he was helping another table and one of the other servers saw we were finished with plates and she came by and took them for us. Owner was on the floor and making sure service was excellent and customers were happy and well fed. We will be back every time we are in Myrtle Beach! read more

Apparently unless you're a regular you basically have to fend for yourself at the bar. Even though I clearly was sitting down first the bartender will pass you over for a regular coming into the bar (especially the ones they reserve seats). They get their drinks , bread and make chit chat all before you can even order a drink. This is not the first time this has happened to me here and it will be the last . It's too bad i'm a local and I used to recommend this place but no more that was the last time . Gourmet pizza in addition to classic Italian fare. Although it mainly is white napkin service with authentic Italian dishes but also has pizza. By far the best pizza I have had in all the grand strand. I have looked for authentic New York style pizza for the last 15 years I have been here ( from NY ), and this is it! My wife and I ate there on November 29th of this year, and I must say the food was delicious I had chicken parm with angel hair pasta and my wife had a pasta dish, the service was great, and the restaurant was very well organized and was very clean and the staff was very friendly we will be back and make this place a weekly visit. read more

Hostile Owner The food at this Italian restaurant is genuinely very good, and our usual server, Frank is always friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in their work. Unfortunately, the owner, Mike's behavior completely ruined what could have been a lovely evening for us. When we politely asked to sit in our favorite server's section, the owner became instantly nasty and hostile, saying we weren't allowed to make requests like that. The tone was completely uncalled for, especially in a hospitality setting. Feeling uncomfortable, we decided to leave -- and that's when things got truly shocking. The owner actually followed us outside, yelling and cursing -- in front of our out of state family and children. It was aggressive, embarrassing, and unbelievably unprofessional. It's such a shame, because the food and staff (other than the owner) are wonderful. But no meal is worth being treated that way. We just enjoyed another excellent dinner at Capriccio's! It was my first time for creamy Carbonara and it was sooo good . Hubby loved his Chicken Piccata that was so tender and flavorful! The stuffed mushrooms were like no others and the sauce added a whole new delicious dimension to the dish! This is a wonderful restaurant, very comfortable and enjoyable, playing Italian music. Not only is the food excellent, but the portions are large (brought some home) We really enjoyed our waiter, Eeshan's, humor/entertainment and the top notch service he provided! Sat at a table in the bar during happy hour. 1st impression, huge bar area but nothing on draft? We wanted to try the pizza here because I've heard so much...we were told we couldn't have a large pizza in the bar or dining room but could get personal pizzas...weird? But sure, let's get one...now we decided to get dinner too. The pizza arrived 1st...cooked in a real pizza oven and had a thin crust. Was good, not the best in Myrtle Beach, was just ok. One and done for me. The Salmon special of the day was light and delicious. Nothing special, tasted like any other salmon dish you've eaten before. Had a side of penne with a chunky tomato sauce...again, a bit bland. The chicken Alfredo was again, typical. Delicious and heavy but how different can this dish be from restaurant to restaurant really? The crusty bread with garlic and oil was awesome!!! The fried calamari was just rings, no little octopuses I like to have. The BEST part of my evening was our server, Noah. Friendly young man that rattled off the daily specials like nobody's business! My wife and I stopped in last night with hopes a getting a calzone. Unfortunately Capriccio doesn't have them in the menu. So we opted for the mussels and a gnocchi. From the bread to the entree we were very disappointed. The pasta fagioli, was very bland and lifeless. The mussels were very bland and uninspiring. The gnocchi was I found to be undercooked, oversized and completely lacking seasoning. Normally when I get a meal not up to my liking, I will give business the benefit of the doubt and return for another try. Maybe they had a bad night. But I don't think that I can go back for another try if four out of four were that unremarkable, I think that is probably what is to expect every time. read more

We had a reservation and were seated within a reasonable length of time. We sat for 20 minutes, and I let the manager know that no one had been by to take our drink orders. She said she'd get someone right out. After another 10 minutes I went looking for the owner, but he was in the kitchen. Someone else said they'd get a server to us. Unprofessional staff! Owner backs up the lies of the staff. They allowed a couple to literally help themselves to a table while 6 people waited by the hostess stand. The hostess then brought them menus! They didn't check in with the hostess! They just grabbed the table! We should have been that rude because the staff obviously only respects rude behavior. I called the next day. Manager refused to put the owner on the phone! He gathered witnesses to what didn't occur! This is what people do when they are worried about their actions - they get witnesses lined up like it's going to trial! The customer is always right is a concept these people do not embrace! So glad we made reservations for this spot while on vacay! The owner was super nice as well as the staff! Our group of six ordered all sorts of dishes, wine and then pizzas to go! I ordered the lasagna which was very authentic with slices of Roma tomatoes in the sauce which was really good! The salads were amazing, homemade salad dressings were superb to the mussels were very tasty with loads of fresh garlic, yum! Authentic, fresh pizza at the beach! Pleasant surprise in a strip mall. I think the lunch prices are hard to beat. Less than $15/pp. We each ordered a personal pan and all of us took some home. The service was good. Our orders were right and the servers were attentive. We thought the restaurant was decorated in true Italian style. Happy that we came! While visiting Myrtle Beach in November on business we were fortunate to find such a fine restaurant. The service was friendly and responsive to our needs. Our party had the veal parmigiana, chicken Marsala and gnocchi sorrentino. All the entrees were perfectly prepared and proportions were very large, enough to take home The salads were fresh and crisp. The homemade house balsamic was great. The owner was present in the dining area making sure all was right. Being the off season and a Thursday night the restaurant had a good crowd. We returned to MB in December and dined again at Capricios and had another great experience. First, when I called make a reservation, the staff told me 5:30pm only but immediately, she suggest us 6:30pm, because 5:30pm dinner was too early. I was impressed their outstanding hospitality. When we visit the restaurant, all staff well took care of us with wonderful smiles. Needless to say, the foods were delicious (and huge portion!) Dinner was good. Chicken Marsala was on point. Pizza was too saucy and not enough toppings. Order got fubarred a couple of times on carryout cuz the owner won't spring for a good phone. Took 10 minutes to order cuz the phones didn't work. Went in to pick up the order and saw 1990s style cordless and a corded phone whose wire looked like spaghetti. Government issue at its finest. Note to owner....Cmon Man! Sounds like the Saturday Night Live for the hearing impaired screaming match. Spring for a new phone!
