We have been using this cleaners for years and have spent quite a pretty penny here. We are now looking for a new cleaners. My dog got dirt on my quilt and pillow shams so, like always, I took it to be dry cleaned. What was supposed to be around $55 was changed, before informing me, to $95. The young woman who helped me was very kind (hence and extra star beyond 1 star), but it was out of her hands. She said it was changed by the lady who does the actual cleaning. The quilt itself only cost me $97. I should have been informed of the change before it was clean, thus charging me. In hind sight, I should have said, "Keep it." and bought me another one. I now have some shirts that need drying cleaning. We are looking else where, but we know to be careful...Ambassador Cleaners is also owned by Vick's. read more

This shop is just another storefront for Vick's, the most disreputable laundry and dry cleaning establishment in Northwest Florida. Always check to see if your dry cleaner storefront sends your clothes out to Vick's. Can't write about any other service this place offers but if they send their laundry service out to Vick's, it's a crapshoot as to when and the condition your clothes get back to you. read more

This place is horrible! I had one dress and went to pick up today at 558 and they close at 6. I was rushing to get there and the doors were open so I went in and the lady said we're closed. I looked at my phone and she said I don't need you to tell me the time my watch says 6. She said you picking up? She said I want to go home too and started raising hell. She finally agreed to give me my dress but said you have to pay with card and then had to pay the credit card fee. The guy behind me asked if I knew another cleaners that they are horrible. I paid in advance for five shirts with medium starch. Got back four shirts barely starched. Still in search of business Stafford shirt. This happened at 9th street store. No answers. Can't call as number is not on receipt. You rate this. I'm moving on. read more

Absolutely horrible!!! Took clothes last week and they said they would be ready Tuesday. Went to pick up on Wednesday and they unapologetically say the dresses aren't ready. Needed the dress for a function but now have no dress and they couldn't care less! Said dresses take longer...why? It's dry cleaning!!!!! read more

My experience was much like others who complained. I took an expensive sweater to them the very first part of March. I showed up on the appointed date - no sweater. I was told to stop back in the coming days as it would probably show up. Seven days later with daily visits - still no sweater. Now it's the end of March and the first part of April. I talked with the manager at the main office and exchanged texts and phone calls. She needed the info on the sweater - cost, size, etc. - I gave it to her again as she said she was working with the insurance for reimbursement. That was the last I heard from them. They don't respond to texts, return phone calls and ignored two complaints and a phone call from BBB. BBB dealt with them in this case for a month and my understanding is that this a fairly common problem with Vick's. This is what forces people into small claims court when they don't want to spend the time resolving what ought to the a simple problem. One of the worst parts to this - besides their absolute lack of response was the response I received from one of the managers that they lose a lot of laundry - dozens and dozens of pieces each month. I thought I had misunderstood what she said, but she repeated the statement of loss. The people at the 9th avenue told me that I wouldn't get a response from the higher ups and they were right. How does a business like this continue to operate in Pensacola? I understand that they have a captive audience here but this behavior ought to put them out of business. This was such an easy thing to resolve but they seem stuck on behaving in a total unprofessional manner or keeping what isn't theirs. read more

I went there to get an old coat, dry cleaned because the collar was leather and was not in good shape. People there were very knowledgeable and told me the truth that coat just isn't worth trying to dry clean because it about impossible to remove these old leather stains. read more

I'm new to the area and have used cleaners my entire professional career. I have never seen as unprofessional company in my life. I've only been to Vicks three or four times and they have lost 2 shirts and the 2 zippers they said they replaced both broke after the first use! read more

I wish there was a way to not give any stars at all. They lost my clothing item. Said manager would call me. It's been two weeks and no call from manager. When I called, the salesgirl just says the manager is very busy. I told her it's been more than enough time to call. She responded "you're not the only customer". Did not offer to replace item. Worst dry cleaners I've ever been to. They lost my military dress pants. They promised to reimburse me but have not yet. It's been almost 3 months and I've had to reach out to them multiple times. Totally unprofessional and unresponsive. I wish I could put 0 stars down. read more

just horrible product and service: 1. collars often fold wrong, 2. buttons frequently fracture likely do to their clumsy techniques, 3. they still use safety pins to tag every pair of pants (sometimes the head of the pin is compressed over the pointed end so it won't even come open unless you have needle nose pliers) 4. quite often their system is down so they can't take credit cards (only cash), 5. I have been there a few times when the automatic carousel is not working and so they couldn't give me my clothes -- they said that they could not reach them on the top portion of the conveyor, 6. on two occasions they delivered my clothes to a completely different store and so it took a few days before they could retrieve them to the store I go to... The employees often act overwhelmed. That said, the young woman who is there now is usually polite... she often does seem frustrated with system and sympathetic with customers... if I had the money I would make the huge capital investment necessary to compete with them-- EVERYONE that I've ever talked to in Pensacola have said that they would switch if there was a competitor... read more

I have been pleased with their past service, but lately it has become unacceptable. I returned a shirt 4 times to be redone and it still was not done right. They have done this shirt many times before well, without wrinkles in the collar, but this time was beyond by patience. I will not be using this cleaner again. read more

I would give a zero if able! The woman, who came to the counter, was abrupt from the minute she opened her mouth. She immediately took my claim ticket, balled it up, and threw in the trash, prior to informing me their card machine was down. I can only hope my dry cleaning looks better than her attitude!!!! read more

I am a business traveler and use Vick's every week. The staff/management are friendly and careful to make sure my check in/out is efficient and accurate. I use the location on Navy Blvd which is convenient and easy to enter and exit. They have a delivery service which I look forward to using one day when getting around is more challenging. read more

I am very disappointed with your customer service at this particular location. I called ahead of time to see if my items were ready and was left on hold for over 13 minutes. When the worker finally got back on the phone, she hadn't even checked to see if my items were ready, which they were. We picked up our items to find out that we were being charged over double for the same exact items that we had previously cleaned at this location. We payed around $75 for our first visit and we were charged $170 this visit. Again, nothing had changed in our order, however, your store wasn't willing to adjust our price at all. read more
