This Vicky is unlike the others I've frequented---it has a Starbuckesque feel to it, warm decor, friendly and inviting couches. Wait, let's stop at inviting. While great seating is available, you almost don't want to sit down as it looks like no one else really does. And I don't want to be the one making a mess with my delicious croissant. But I do it anyway! I love enjoying my pizza pastel and croissant with ham and cheese at this little nook. And sometimes they even have Colombian apple soda---my absolute favorite! Great place but just the wait can be overwhelming .. not enough staff members on the floor to take care of the customers .. i ordered the steak sandwich was very dry and the bread was hard as a rock i couldn't even take a bite into the sandwich ..i waited over 20 minutes to get my sandwich that i could not eat. But this location has the worse customer service, I watched them having a bad/whatever attitude with the customers in front of me waiting to be called. Terrible customer service. I ordered a cake for my husband's birthday and a bakerer criss called @crissgarciacakes forgot about my order. After a while talking about it, they pretended that I paid half of the cake and came back to get it. I couldn't do that, because I love far. So I asked her if she could do it and take it to my place (it was her responsibility) and she told me that I was an abuser. I asked for the manager and there was none. Then the daughter of the owner came screaming that her father was on the way (without looking at me) and then they asked me to leave the place to wait for the manager. Great place. Friendly workers. Bought a box of guava & cheese pastries and another box of meat pastries. Both freshly made and very tasty. Plenty of parking since it is in a strip mall/plaza. Can't complain. Will have to stop by next time I am in the area. read more

The staff is pleasant and the place is clean. It has bar table seating and a small lounge area. I ordered a cafe con leche and extra toasted Cuban tostada which was excellent. My friend ordered ham croquettes, cheese croquettes, and a ham and cheese empanada. All of his items were stale, cold, and had that "old taste." The ham inside of the ham croquette did not even resemble ham. It's a shame to have experienced this as the "Vicky Bakery" brand is typically reputable and outstanding in quality. Seems like their vast expansion has taken a hit on the quality of their products. read more

Was a frequent customer to this store. Always had an issue with customer service but not enough to deter me until today that is. I ordered a shake like usual, unfortunately the cup it was served in was defective. The drink punctured though the cup and caused a spill all over me and my car while i was already on the hifhway. I asked for a supervisor to explain the problem and none was to be found, apparently the owner is the supervisor and he hadn't showed up to work yet (10:30am). I asked for a refund and left my phone number to the owner, Raul Companioni. He called back with an attitude basically told me that it was my fault and to call the police to file a report. I kindly explained to him that I would send him the invoice of getting my car washed due to his defective product. He told me to f myself and that he wasn't going to pay for anything. Nothing a small claims suit couldn't fix. It males sense now why the customer service is so bad. TL;DR: ok food, horrible service, don't expect to get any problems resolved. First, I want to say that when this Vicky Bakery opened, I was super excited as it is so close to my house, the prices are great, the staff is friendly and of course the pastries were good, however within the past year the pastries are not appealing (dry, burnt and not fresh); I called & spoke with the manager to ask what was going on I asked "did you change the pastery chef", but the manager just didn't care about my opinion. The best pastelitos around! My fiance and I usually get the ones filled with guava, they are really good! We travel between FL and CT so we grabbed a dozen to go on our way to the airport. We love them a lot!! Try a cortado, strong cuban espresso. All you need a tiny bit and you're good to go! read more

Walked in here yesterday for the first time for lunch. Was completely ignored by the 2 lady employees there. One was too busy flirting with an old cuban guy, and another attending a customer. I waited 7 minutes to at least be told they'll be with me in a second, and nothing. Walked right out. I'll never come here again. Way to lose a potential customer. read more

The most of the clients over there are elders, I am a witness of how the employees mistreat them. I suffered the same bad attitude and rudness from same employee. When I Kindly requested to talk to the Manager, she was sarcastic and she said (laughing) "O am the Manager and you can't do anything about it" She refuse to provide me whit any info from another Manager or the owner. Since the Manager is rude and poor costumer service the rest of the employees show the same bad attitude. SHAME!! read more

Everything is really delicious! We go every Sunday in the morning to buy Cuban pastries for breakfast. They are always fresh & sometimes even made right in front of you! The staff is kind and helpfu. At times it could be a little overcrowded especially on Saturday's but they are are very well equipped with employees that the lines go by super fast. read more

We had breakfast at Boudin's downstairs cafe on a raw, San Francisco morning. Most of the customers, (including us) were freezing as they had the doors opened. When we asked if they could close them we were given some lame excuse. The bakery has a nice selection of breakfast pastries and sandwiches and Pete's coffee, however staff are undertrained. Specialty breads are great hostess gifts, but most of the kitchen utensils and speciality goods are overpriced. Beware: should you need to use the restroom in the morning before the upstairs restaurant opens, you'll be directed to the public rest room and may experience a side of San Francisco, you'd rather do without. read more

the food is great, no complaints there, the gentleman with the tattoed arms (sorry about the description) I believe he is the owner, he does whatever you ask him when it comes to cakes and decorations and short notice stuff; unfortunately last Sunday I had an unexpected situation and I needed a cake something big, I'd be honest it was 3:35 pm but I figured I wasn't asking for much, I just wanted one cake on top of another and some writing on the icing badabim badaboom done or so I thought until the server said that it couldn't be done because they were about to close(4pm) and there was no baker or decorator in the store, as she says this a gentleman who I imagine was the baker because of the icing stains on his apron, walks out to get something to drink, not wanting to start an argument I just walked out upset, when I got in my car it was 3:39 pm plenty of time for them to have done my cake and so out I went upset and disappointed but did manage to get my cake somewhere else! read more
