Since we were here though, when in Rome do as the Romans do, so we figured we'd give it a shot. It reminded us of that episode of Dexter where he's helping a friend who is dying and she wants to find the best key lime pie. That was kind of the energy we had going into it, just looking for the experience. I also picked up some white chocolate covered cherries but we haven't gotten to those yet. From sitting down to getting our food was about 20 minutes, so this is a solid place to stop if you're trying to get back on the road soon. They make delicious cakes and donuts. And the favorite there is the Cuban Sandwich, which is generously filled with ham, shredded pork, pickle, cheese and crusty bread.
