Amy cuts both men and women hair. She's very detailed and takes her time. Friendly as well. I recommend calling ahead and getting an appointment. They are pretty busy on the weekend and walk ins would have to wait a bit. Prices are reasonable, it comes out to be ~$25 for men and ~$50 for women. Pretty good pricing for the peninsula.

As soon as we walked in, Caroline was very welcoming. She walked us through all the steps of the cut and made sure my mom was happy. Caroline is such an expert in her field that she treats every haircuts as uniquely to the individual receiving it. And it showed!! My mom's haircut is really perfect for her. (Her best one!) She made my mother feel so special and happy and for that I am beyond grateful!

I love all the stylists, especially Angelo, but not sure what happened to this salon?! The last few times I've gone, there was someone sleeping on the bench barefooted (whom I believe may be one of the staff). I could see him through the mirror the entire time. That's just unacceptable. You go to a salon to have a good experience, not to see things like this. Next time I go in for my hair color and he's sleeping there, I will take pictures and will post online. I really hope this gets addressed so me/any other clients don't have to see this. It's strange. This is Burlingame, and us customers have high expectations.

Full version - I had done a search on yelp for curly hair stylists and this salon was suggested. I decided to call and make an appt for a haircut. (it had been 4 years since my last professional cut) I specifically booked with Michele since she was mentioned by others for her talent with wavy/curly hair. Upon arrival Michele was very nice and welcoming. We discussed lightly what I wanted done before washing my hair. Once I was back in the chair she truly listened to what I wanted. (I have super long fine hair that is curly, wavy and straight in some spots) She gave me tons of advice and pointers which I truly appreciated since I'm trying to embrace my natural hair and stop heat styling. I was very satisfied with the end result. My hair feels so much healthier. I will definitely be coming back!

I've gotten my hair cut by Michele twice now. For my first cut, we played it a bit safe and she helped me ring my waves to life. This time I wanted a bit more of a change and we went for the shag/butterfly cut and I'm so glad we did! Michele carefully sculpted my layers in a way that works with my hair and texture. I met Supattra!! I was a walk-in customer and after a phone call Supattra walked in 10 minutes later. She transformed me from tired and run down to fresh and vibrant.
