Came here after seeing their Instagram that they were back up and running under a new name and I was not disappointed! We stopped by for lunch around 1pm. It's typically a window ordering service, but it was slow and they did table service for us. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and my boyfriend's mom had the fish and chips. My sandwich was loaded with avocado, a sauce, onion, and lettuce (I opted for no tomato). Those fries were thin and crispy, just the way I like it! Her fish and chips were MASSIVE and easily a serving for 2 people. I'm so happy they are back open. I can't wait to try more items on the menu and even their cocktails!

Cool spot o have a beer and a bite. The menu is simple and not overwhelming. We ordered the Panini Crispy PorK Belly and Fries. I wasn't so excited after taking my first bite only because I like it crispy. Flavor wise is was good. We also had Shrimp and onions fried called shrimpen bidness which we both liked. Serving size on both plates is enough and priced okay. The inside is small but has enough tables to fit small parties. I loved the outside dining area it is big enough for larger parties. Overall experience is good but o will try a different sandwich. . 3 stars for me deserves a return and try other things.

When we got there the line was less than 5 minutes. Terrific outside seating. Funky vibe, painted in Caribbean blue and yellow pastels. Lots of very good food ...large portions... and "take out" boxes.

This was the old Vic's but the same owners. I'm not sure why they changed because Vic's was pretty popular. There is no more waiter service. You order at the counter and get a number to bring to your table. The grilled chicken sandwich is pretty standard. The sweet potato fries are yummy. The ranch dressing is bottled and blah. My coworkers enjoyed their salads. It's a casual place with indoor and outdoor dining.

We were greeted at door and told we could sit anywhere. Seating available inside and outside. Since it was rainy and cold we chose to be inside at a cute corner table by the windows. A server brought water and menus to our table inside and let us know to place order at the counter when ready. The place is very bright, airy and open inside which I liked. We decided to share the crispy belly pork panini with fries and coleslaw along with an appetizer of shrimpin bidness. The food came out shortly to our table, hot and fresh. They even split our panini onto separate plates for us which was greatly appreciated. So the sandwich was just ok because there was no crispness at all sadly. Had a great taste but would have been so much better if the meat was actually cooked crispy. The fries, slaw and appetizer were delicious. Hubby and I were just disappointed with the panini though. Would come and try other things in the small menu which makes things so much easier and not feel overwhelmed. They have drinks available too and many sounded good.

    Grilled Chicken burger, hummus/pita..

Food was delicious, could eat this everyday. Food came out fast, wish I could have gotten a refill on my soda

It was a beautiful day, perfect for sitting outside and listening to live music. The staff was extremely helpful, answering all of our questions and even offering tastes of their beers and sours. I'm not usually a fan of sours, so I went with the Ernst Amber Ale, while my friends ordered the Cosmo Sour and the P-Wing Sour. For sours, they were surprisingly tasty. I may have to give them another chance. Street Steam Bunz was the food truck of the day, and we ordered rice bowls with bulgogi beef and chicken katsu. Both were served with fried rice, ginger, and pickled cucumbers, and everything was delicious. A great way to spend a Sunday. Five Suns and Street Steam Bunz both earn five stars from me.

Nice, casual spot to hang out. The staff is friendly and helpful, and happy to make suggestions and provide samples. Prices are actually reasonable, noticeably more so than comparable places. I had an OG Burst, and a Ghost Moon Pilsner. The pilsner was very good. RB had the Granger porter and enjoyed it. There is a food truck by the patio, from which we ordered a grilled cheese, which was good. You can also bring in outside food if you prefer. Would return for another visit next time we're in downtown Martinez.

It wasn't overly bitter at all. I also tried Mental Haze, which was super smooth and easy to drink. I'll definitely be back! Food 4.5/5 Bar food is usually hit or miss, but I really loved the cheeseburger. It was flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious and the fries were also excellent and better than many burger-focused spots I've tried. We also ordered the cheese fries and tacos, but we weren't a huge fan of those. Still, I would come back just for the burger and fries alone. Customer Service 5/5 Amazing customer service. Super friendly and helpful with recommendations. They also brought the food out to our table, which we really appreciated. Ambience 5/5 Great vibe overall. It was raining when we visited, and the large windows made it really cozy watching the rain. Very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Cleanliness 5/5 Clean space with no complaints. Wait Time 5/5 Fair and reasonable wait time. Cost 5/5 Prices were fair for the quality of food and drinks offered.

Which is good because you'll probably want to stay and do just that. The beers seem carefully curated and are each done well. The Mexican lagers were some of our favorites, as was the German pilsner. I love this place now…read more It helps that I live only a couple blocks away from here. But man is the food good now. I feel like I've been going here at least once a month with friends and the experience is always really good. When we enter the music is always good. Usually it's some kind of oldie R&B or rock I think. This recent visit we tried the sliders for the 1st time and man were they good! They are better than the actual burger they have on the menu. The other one with the fig jam just tastes like it's trying too hard. I get that it's Benicia and the brewery is trying to be a little more upscaled but man I miss the burger they had with the Bacon Jam.

P's Way is the only way…read more That's literally what I'd tell someone if they were confused about what kind of wings to get. You look at the description and you almost wonder if all of that is a little...too much. I'm here to tell you that it's not. It's the only way. There's just something about the zing and tang of combining both the Lemon Pepper with the Buffalo sauce that takes the flavors to a whole new level. On top of that you get a hint of sweetness with the hot honey. These are some of my favorite wings in town. Possibly actual favorite. I need to come back and have them again really soon. But just know that if you are wings fan, you gotta try P's Way. The Fish and Chips and Mac were also good. The Fish seemed a little less flavorful than I thought it was gonna be. The fries made it up for them though. I couldn't stop munching on those. The Mac was solid. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a just really good dish that was straight to the point. I just obviously was super obsessed with these wings when I went. The inside is very homey. Has a more publike vibe. I walk in and almost imagine that I'm on the water or at a pier or something. The people working here are usually very nice. The very last time I came here a guy took my order and forgot one of our items but I think he was new. Luckily this girl with a long blonde ponytail who had served us before asked us if we got everything. When we told her about our missing item she apologized a whole bunch and made everything better. Oh and of course they have amazing beers. Our favorites are the rotation of Dark Beers, Mexican Lagers and Ciders that they have. We have yet to ever have a bad pour. Im pretty sure if you like beer there should be something for everyone. Even Wine slushies if you don't care for beer. Hillside was one of me and my wife's places we would go to when we shortly lived in Martinez. Even though we are a bridge away, we can't wait to come back sometime soon.
