    Caesar Salad -LG
    Atira S.

Excellent service, great food! We made a reservation online and were seated immediately. From start to finish, the service was amazing. Cassidy and the rest of the staff were so attentive and friendly. Our plates were cleared between each course, and they timed bringing out the food perfectly. The food was fresh and so tasty. Highly recommend the Caesar salad and CM pizza! Their warm focaccia was also excellent I can't wait to be back! Shout to to cassidy for a great first time experience!

Margarita Pizza with onions and garlic

Having been to this restaurant many times for delicious dinners, I decided to finally try the pizza. I ordered a 12 inch pizza with two toppings, and it came to $28. A little pricey, but if it's good pizza, it's not a horrible price. But this pizza was not even as good as pizza I would get at Little Caesar's. The crust is paper, thin and a margarita pizza normally has sliced tomatoes on it. There were no sliced tomatoes to be found. It was just tomato sauce with cheese, but the size of the pizza and the thinness of the crust I would not have wanted to pay more than $12-$15 for this pizza. I highly recommend this place for the dinners and their specials. But I would skip the pizza line.

Impressed with service and food. Every night before 6 pm is sunset m menu. You pick your entree and receive salad and scoop of gelato. Had shrimp parmigiana with penne . Good tasty portion. Had Caesar salad and vanilla gelato . Children meals at $12 were large. Thought at first they were for the adults. Warm comfortable with outdoor seating also.

Fantastic overall experience today for a late lunch / early dinner. Last time I came to eat at this location was when it was originally Sal's. Because of the odd time, we were literally the only customers. We had our kids so they provided wikki stix, which was a pleasant change from your typical crayons. My daughter loved them and definitely kept her busy until the food arrived. My son on the other hand could careless. We were first served a starter bread that looked amazing, it had garlic, onions and I believe tomatoes in it, impressive for free bread. We're a sucker for calamari, and these tasted like they are made fresh, nothing like the thin and somewhat chewy, previously frozen type stuff you find in most restaurants. Their Sunday gravy was tasty but the pepper aioli was the winner for pairing. The pizza was thin with the right amount of crisp. Sauce was great but would've been better with just a little more cheese. Also, love the freshly grated parm instead of the shaker stuff. I'd say the best part of our experience was our waitress Melissa. She was super friendly and attentive. She brought us our food quickly and continued to check up on us, just what you'd expect from excellent service which we haven't received in awhile, and extra points for her interaction with the kids.

    Welcome to Cucina Moderna

We usually go to the Cucina Moderna in Boynton Beach, but they are very popular & we couldn't get a reservation. So we went to the Lake Worth location and had a comparably good meal. The restaurant is fairly small and had an open, welcoming feel. Although we were seated right away, our server didn't come to our table for an inordinately long time. Her service throughout our dining experience was not the best. She may have been a bit overloaded. Her co-workers did seem a bit more organized and efficient. We still enjoyed tasty dinners from the Sunset menu, which included salad, soft drinks/hot tea, entrees and gelato. Our dinners also included Cucina Moderna's fabulous focaccia bread and olive oil. It's a great value and draws a crowd. We each ordered the chicken parmesan with a side of spaghetti. The chicken was a little tougher than usual albeit still good. And we like their rich tomato sauce. The restaurant offers a variety of gelato flavors, which are the perfect way to end a nice Italian dinner. As we were leaving, the manager handed my wife a rose because it was Valentine's Day. A very thoughtful gesture (which made me look bad because I didn't give her any flowers!)

Complimentary Bread and Olive Oil Dip

Let's start with the complementary warm bread with an olive oil and ground pepper dip. Delicious! We ordered the fried calamari appetizer, which came with two dipping sauces. Excellent. My son ordered the cauliflower crust pepperoni and sausage pizza, no cheese and it was perfect for him. We ordered the large meat lovers pizza. Also very good. And I ordered the an Italian grinder, which came with truffle Parmesan drizzle. Fantastic. My pictures don't do justice, but trust me, come and eat here. You will not be disappointed.

Came here to celebrate my Birthday with my family a few day ago. We went in around 4.30pm, it was great not many patrons yet. So we got our door fairly quickly. We eat here quite often since we moved to Boynton about 6-7 years ago. Not much to complain about food. Most entrees tasted great and fairly consistent, portions are generous as well. Only complaint I have is that it seems like the Linguini Clam has gotten more salty over the years. Might have been just us. Deserts always great! Except this time they forgot the ice cream that supposed to come with the dessert. Server asked if we still want it but we were very full at that point. We love the Italian decor too!! Especially my daughter

    Authentic Italian lasagna

Authentic Italian lasagna. Reasonable prices especially on the early bird menu. I love the fresh house made bread served with dinner and olive oil. You must stay for the amazing gelato served at the end.

    Antipasto

It was our first time and it was a wonderful experience tonight. There were 7 of us for dinner, we shared a couple of pizzas that were delicious and tasty! Then we proceeded to the antipastos to share, the variety of flavors were wonderful. Adonis our server was very nice and delivered everything on time and freshly made to the table. We had the chance to catch up with conversation because we had time to catch up on life. This is such a quaint place with delicious food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere!

Fast Forward a few months later and I was greeted with a welcome and a smile by a lovely woman who guided us to our table. The location had opened as a steak house that opened 2 months before covid and closed shortly thereafter. It has been a few short-lived Mexican joints before the current owners spruced it up and created a WONDERFUL SPOT with GREAT ambiance and GREAT food. When we arrived we had told our server that we were there for a laid back evening and service was spot on. Without exception, all of our food was generously portioned, delivered promptly, attractively presented with spot on flavors and textures! I had the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese (YUMMY). Others had The Ravioli, Mussels, Meatballs, Wild Shroom Pappardelle, Paccheri Vodka, and a perfectly prepared Veal Chop (a non-menu special). At the end of our evening there were no leftovers and everyone was talking about how great their food had been. I will be back. There are too many other menu options I want to check out!

My boyfriend got the chicken Marsala and added mozzarella so it was a yummy smothered chicken and got some penne in his pastability. He got such a good deal considering he paid $25ish for a protein, pasta side, a salad and bread! You can't find deals like that now a days. Pro tip: ask for extra dressing on the side to dip your bread in!

Tale of two meals: I…read morehad avoided this place, for a long time. My first meal, a couple of years back, was one-star AWFUL. Places change. Maybe it was better? I came in, on one slow weeknight, I think a Tuesday,, nearer to closing. Bartender, a petite woman, was EXCELLENT. Pasta was al dente. I was excited to find a better Italian restaurant. I brought my daughter back, to try it, on a Saturday. The place is packed with people who look like they were taking the night off from their retirement communities. Smelled a lot like methane in the room, but that's an unfortunate side effect of the Lake Worth sewers in the downtown area, that afflicts restaurants from time to time. (No, it wasn't decomposing older folks.) The food was AWFUL. Food took 40 minutes, from order to table. Pasta overcooked. Sauces, including the marinara that I had asked to have with my ravioli? Poorly made. One was cold enough to switch out, but I couldn't get the bartender's attention, and my daughter dealt with it. Bartender? Treats his regulars well. The rest of us? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Worst service that I've had, sitting at the bar, in years. On my way out? I saw a big gent eating from a seafood pasta that literally was being served on a turkey platter. That was enough excess to almost make me hurl. Sealed the deal. Lesson learned. Won't be back again for a long while.
