2024 I went three times. It was good ! , we went early afternoon as it gets busy at night. We did have some issues when asking for a bigger table I mean its understood since its season and very busy with limited tables as its cozy inside soon after being nice and allowing us the tables 2!hours later we did were ask to cash out. Luckily we were done . I like sitting at the bar , its fun and the bartender is awesome. Very lively and busy very good atmosphere . The food is awesome good frutti de mare and great chicken Marsala. Love the appetizer menus and the bread wow so good. Good specials too like steaks and branzino. Still it's one of my favorite restaurants. I am inn the hospitality industry and visit many restaurants i love the vive and food quality at Franco's. Franco's used to be one of our favorite restaurants. They do try, which is the extra star. We went last night, and everything was terrible. The alfredo was bland. The chicken parm was thick and rubbery, smothered in sauce barely seasoned. It used to be the best chicken parm in town. The penne ala vodka was dry. The server was inattentive. We waited and waited, then finally tracked someone down to order. After dinner we waited and waited, then finally got up and took a credit card to someone to pay. The extra charge for using a credit card and the suggestion of a 20%, 22%, or 25% tip on the bill was insult to injury. Again, they were nice enough, but the fact that everything was bad suggests a huge slide down. Disappointing. read more

If you're into extremely quiet places and not many people being there, this is the place for you. However, I felt it was very awkward. They sent us in a completely empty restaurant right in the middle. Mind you this place is pretty small. My friend ordered an appetizer, got it and ate it. During that time, the waitress came back and asked me maybe three separate times if I was ready to order an appetizer. I just kept saying no and waiting for her to ask for our actual order. It was very awkward, especially because I was trying to catch up with a friend and was interrupted way too many times. There wasn't much on the menu that appealed to me. I ended up ordering ravioli I believe. I took one bite and that was it. The waitress didn't even notice that I literally didn't eat anything but asked if I wanted a box. I just wanted to leave at that point so I paid the bill which included a $12 water. I've been to really nice restaurants and I don't think I've ever paid $12 for water. Our waitress Rosio was phenomenal. My mom and I sat outside this past Saturday evening. Cocktails, entrees were served hot and very good. We ordered coconut lemon cake for dessert. Cake was frozen in middle so we ate around it. No big deal,however when we mentioned to waitress she said she would have it removed from billVery strange when she apologetically came back and said she needs to show it to owner. Not being servers fault but totally unnecessary. Owners daughter comes over with strange unnecessary explanation on why cake needed to be observed. End of day it was comped. Horrible experience at this sham of a place. They accepted a party of 25 which is a lot. At no point did we think we would all be served our entrees at the same time. 4 out of the 25 ppl present waited 1.5 hours AFTER the rest of the party was served their entrees. After going to speak to the manager and the owners wife, respectfully explaining the situation and asking for some type of compensation when it came time to pay, we were expected to pay full price. We expressed we thought this was unfair, the owners wife, who before agreed to do some for us came out and said "you ate the food didn't you?" Extremely flippantly. We said some of us ate it bc we were so hungry. Granted the food was actually not even that good. Mayhem began with us saying take a picture of us and never serve us again we shouldn't have to pay. THEY CALLED THE POLICE!!! Which was hilarious bc the majority of the men at the party were cops. At one point the owners daughter told me not to speak to her mom so I said ok I'll speak to you. And her dad the actual owner,yelled "you're starting with a minor"... ummm no she spoke to me first how am I supposed to know shes a minor. So I said ok I'm a minor too. Clearly I'm not but it was so insane that he would scold me when she spoke to me first. A waitress nearby with horrible eyelash extensions, which wish I had removed myself right then and there, laughed at me and mocked me. Clearly my joke went over her head. Which is why she's a waitress. Meanwhile another server is on the phone w the cops. I go back to the manager respectfully stating, you and the owners wife just said before you'd do something for us and none of this needed to escalate this far. And he agreed. This place should honestly be boycotted. As a small business a bird in the hand ... as they say. If they offered to split it we would have been fine. But they yelled at us and called the cops. Early dinner and was a bit disappointed. Wasn't looking for a full meal. Just a glass of wine and a dinner item. Our waitress was on with service, but the food lacked what I was looking for. Taste and flavors! I ordered the special of the day. Chicken Rollatini filled with ricotta, spinach, and prosciutto. It came with Broccoli and Roasted potatoes and a brown sauce, that didn't even help with the missing flavors. Being a special of the day, it missed its mark. The spinach was chopped in an odd way that didn't help its cause. And the cheese was not its best either. To report on my wife's dish which pushes this up to the 3 stars. Well we saw a recommendation on neighborhood so we thought we would give it a try. We arrived at 6:00 pm and there was a table of 8 and a table of two in the restaurant. It was 30 minutes before we had to flag down a busboy (who seemed to be the only person in the restaurant that was working) get a waiter for us. we finally got our drinks and ordered dinner. My dinner was good but my wife's salmon was overcooked, her mashed potatoes were lumpy and the asparagus promised turned out to be overcooked zucchini. The Caesar salad was wilted extremely vinegary and by no stretch of an imagination did it resemble a Caesar salad. We discussed this with a waiter who inquired how we liked our dinner and nothing. The bread is very good, the only really redeeming factor. The place could have potential, but nobody seemed to care. read more

I bought a gift card for my parents' birthday in June, but when they tried to use it this past week, the new ownership refused to honor it. According to Florida business records, Christopher Baronci officially took over as president of Franco Of Wellington, Inc. on July 8, 2025, so this seems to be related to the change in ownership. While I understand that a new LLC isn't legally required to honor gift cards issued by a previous entity, it feels like poor customer service and reflects badly on the business. After this experience, I looked into the new owner, Mr. Baronci. Public records show he was involved in a legal case filed by Ford Motor Credit Co. back in 2005 for an amount between $5,000 and $15,000. Though the case was voluntarily dismissed in 2020 after a writ of garnishment against his bank was filed (15 years later), it still raises concerns about business ethics. While this doesn't directly relate to my gift card, it raises concerns about the financial stability and integrity behind the business. I wouldn't recommend buying gift cards from this establishment unless you're 100% sure who's going to honor them. Overall, disappointing experience and not the kind of customer respect I expected. read more

I recently visited Franco Italian Bistro with friends from Wellington. I wish there was a restaurant like this in Southern California! The ambiance is classy, warm, and inviting. We were greeted upon entering by the host, and felt incredibly welcome. I had the Shrimp Fradiavolo, and my friends ordered the Penne Alla Vodka and the Ravioli Alla Bolognese. This evening my husband and I enjoyed the most fabulous dinner at Franco's. The new owners, Ira, Nick, and Chris were so gracious, welcoming, and totally present for our entire experience. They continually checked, made sure that everything was done to perfection, and service was amazing. The food reminded me of being back in NYC with authentic Italian dishes from appetizer to dessert. We had dinner the other night with six of our good friends and I can truly say it was the worst experience ever , starting with the charge of $10 to change any thing on the menu even if you wanna just swap vegetables , then to add insult to injury they charge 3 1/2% for the use of a credit card . If you wanted to share a plate that was another $10 charge not to mention that they charge $60 for Oso Buco, which was one of the specials. We were celebrating our anniversary and they offered a nice piece of cake to us, and then charged us $15 for it. In conclusion, 20% gratuity was added without our being informed. We ordered drinks and a bottle of wine and lovely bruschetta came out. Then we placed our orders. I had clams oregenata and a friend ordered a Ceasar salad as a starter. For mains we ordered two chicken Marsalas, an eggplant lasagna, and a Veal scallopine limone. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Prices were perfect for portion size. Because of the back up in the kitchen we were comped a dessert and Sammy recommended the tartufo which the 4 of us scarfed down immediately. Went with a large party today and we really enjoyed the restaurant. It's small and cozy with a very big bar. There is also covered outdoor seating with portable heaters. Good wine as well. We had Pappadelle, Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm and Penne ala Vodka and lobster bisque soup. It was very tasty all around and the staff was very attentive. My only gripe and I know we all need to make money but Italian food with the exception of fish, veal or filet should not be as expensive. read more

Tasty but overpriced. My husband and I ordered dinner to go from Franco Italian Bistro. The ordering process was simple using their app. Pictures and good description of the food items made it a better experience. It also gives you the time of pickup which is very nice. The restaurant was pretty dead but the decor is simple yet elegant. They have a terrace with a nice canopy with flowers. Looks like a nice spot for a date. Food wise I was a bit disappointed. My husband ordered the cacio e peppe and paid $12 more for shrimp. Oh boy was this a big disappointment. The noddles were cooked well but are basically just tossed in butter with pepper. He got 3 shrimp for the $12. That dish was $37!! Not worth it at all. I got the sacchetti and paid extra for the chicken. The pasta is quite delicious. Little purses filled with cheese and a good portion of cut up chicken breast. The sauce was flavorful and actually worth $37. Ironically both dishes cost the same. We also got a tiramisu and this was just ok. Structurally it's good but the coffee flavor was just too overpowering. This is our favorite dessert so I've had quite a few of these. I'd give it a C, just ok. Overall, ambiance is nice. Food is ok but maybe not priced properly. I'd give it a second go. read more

I took my husband to this restaurant to celebrate a recent accomplishment. I checked the website and it appeared to be a nice place, decent menu, and prices were high so I figured it must be good. It was definitely not worth the price. My husband ordered the chicken parm. It tasted like they boiled the chicken in water, breaded it, and then finished cooking it the microwave. It was mushy and had no taste. It was AWFUL. My Salmon was okay at best. Not worth the $41 they charge for it. The ambience was nice, but we will never go back. Told my family to stay away.
