Second time here! First time I came with friends and had the Rasta Pasta and it was so good! But I knew I wanted to come back for the catfish. Well I did and it did not disappoint! Everything was amazing! I had fish, mac n cheese, greens and yams. 10/10 to everything! The service was also great. From the greeting , to being seated, to my waiter, Chris! He was very attentive and gave friendly service. I will definitely be back!

I went on a Wednesday night and sat at the bar. They had $7.50 tequila sunrises and .75 wings with a min order of 8. The wings were good and crispy. The pretty in pink Valentine's Day drink I ordered was so good and cute it was $17. That was too expensive to me but I liked the drink overall. I enjoyed the $5 hookah as well. The bartenders were friendly and the place was decorated in Valentine's Day theme which was soooo cute! However, the place did have a slight sewage smell which I didn't like which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.

Food was good. I ordered wings and fried ribs. Wednesdays the wings are $.75. Great deal. Drink specials are good, I ordered a tequila sunrise and a green tea shot each $7. My friend ordered deviled eggs with shrimp on top. They were very tasty. We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly. 20% gratuity is added to every check. Ambiance was okay, a little small. Love the music selection. I'll be back!

We went to celebrate a birthday. It was a good time. I got a veggie plate. I tried the fired chicken seasoned well and crunchy. I tried a lamb chop which was good. My friend said the fried catfish and pasta was very tasty. The waitress gave us a lot of recommendations. The decor was nice and floral. We will definitely be back.

I visited this past Saturday 6/26 around 6pm to catch up with a friend during what I thought was their happy hour. Despite visiting on a Saturday for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was parking available in the adjacent small parking lot! There's also limited free curbside parking available nearby. Instead of happy hour, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Tiny Victories hosts Saturday summer daytime parties INCLUDING drink specials called "The Darty"! Usually with a DJ whom flaked last minute on this particular day. There was also a piercer from Bold Stroke (on 831 W Jefferson Blvd) offering $20 piercings (cash/Zelle) when usually her shop does them for $60! My friend and I took advantage of this. Their drink specials included: Miami Vice $7 - rum, strawberry, coconut, citrus blend Sweet, fruity, tame. Bingo Mango $7 - tequila, aperol, prosecco, mango, lime, tajin Sweet, fruity (with a real mango taste), bold, frozen. I loved Tiny Victories before but love it more even now. Despite narrowing their still incredible happy hour window, they still offer fun community events with drink specials to keep customers coming back. That being said, I will definitely return and continue to put my friends on!

A Happy Hour Hidden Gem in Dallas!…read more We took a day trip to Dallas to see the circus and decided to pop into a nearby bar for drinks and small bites. Parking was a challenge, but we opted for valet and, at only $10, it was totally worth it! We originally planned to check out Bar Eden for happy hour but accidentally walked into Paradiso, which is connected. Bar Eden is a little smaller and has more of an intimate, speakeasy vibe, while Paradiso has a gorgeous, lively atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the happy hour specials were perfect for afternoon drinks--cocktails under $10! The margarita was delicious, and the other cocktails were just as pretty as they were tasty. One thing to know: it seems there's only one restroom, so the wait can be lengthy. BUT once you get inside, you'll understand why...because it's basically a girl's dream photo booth! Definitely plan a little extra time for the bathroom selfies. We didn't try the food this time, but the ambiance and music were on point. The outdoor seating is beautiful and elegant, although it was way too hot for daytime lounging during our visit. Overall, I'd absolutely come back--especially for happy hour! Great drinks, beautiful atmosphere, and plenty of photo-worthy moments.

We asked if we could pull up a chair to one of the tables on the patio (which was fully empty), and they begrugedly agreed. We sat down and waited. And waited some more. And then some more... After about 10 minutes my brother went up to the bar and asked if a server would be coming to take our order, and was told that they were busy (they did not look busy at all) but would get to us ASAP. Another 10 minutes went by and, as no one had still come to see us, we elected just to leave. They said nothing as we walked out of the restaurant. Aside from pulling up a chair on the (again, totally empty) patio, I have no idea what we did that could have made them so upset at us. The whole experience was really odd and super off-putting, particularly so as there was no communication at all from the wait staff.

Then, of course, there's the food. Straight from the hand of God. The shrimp cocktail with avocado served on chips is absolutely mouthwatering. The honey glazed pork belly on top of cheesy grits will send you to heaven. Be sure to add chorizo to your order of migas for an absolutely perfect hispanic dish. The crown jewel of the brunch elite is hands down the blue corn butterscotch pancakes. Just reading the name you know it's something special, but it won't prepare you for how magnetically delectable it is. I honestly want to go to Encina once just to order these pancakes and, should I actually finish the generous portion, order another, and another, and another until an ambulance arrives to resuscitate me from dying of such glee... only to order another round. You can always order up with the Montreal Long Haul that includes the pancakes but also comes with duck leg confit and hash browns, but honestly, as good as they are they just can't compare.
