    Tequila sunrise
    Dez V.

Food was good. I ordered wings and fried ribs. Wednesdays the wings are $.75. Great deal. Drink specials are good, I ordered a tequila sunrise and a green tea shot each $7. My friend ordered deviled eggs with shrimp on top. They were very tasty. We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly. 20% gratuity is added to every check. Ambiance was okay, a little small. Love the music selection. I'll be back!

We went to celebrate a birthday. It was a good time. I got a veggie plate. I tried the fired chicken seasoned well and crunchy. I tried a lamb chop which was good. My friend said the fried catfish and pasta was very tasty. The waitress gave us a lot of recommendations. The decor was nice and floral. We will definitely be back.

First of all, don't let the outside look scare you away. It almost made me turn around. The inside is nice and has lounge vibes. We walked in for brunch on Saturday and it was slow. The servers were very nice to us and hospitable. They get an A+ for service. As for the food, we shared jerk oxtails with mashed potatoes and a mimosa carafe. The entree came with just two oxtails with lots of gravy and mashed potatoes. It was $27 so I guess that's about $8-$10 less than what I'm used to paying at more upscale restaurants in Houston. I thought the jerk oxtails weren't jerk enough. I think it needed more of that Jamaican flavor. Overall it was good but not sure if it's worth coming again. The mimosa with pineapple juice was great. She gave us more juice on the side in case we like it sweeter

Honey Garlic Lamb Chops, Yams & Vic Mac & Cheese!

Came in on a Thursday..Ordered 6 Honey Garlic Lamb chops with a side of Mac, Yams, & Greens . Everything tasted great! The Mac and cheese was cold, but the yams were so good it didn't even bother me..I'll heat it up when I get home! Our server Cali..was so fun and helpful. She is the one who suggested we get the Honey Garlic chops..and she led us down the right path! We also ordered two cocktails..but they weren't good at all.,and that's the only reason I gave 4 stars..

From the time I walked in the restaurant, everything was amazing. From the host, server and even the chef who came out to great us. The food was amazing, Chef's Kiss. Also the Halloween decorations were very nice.

Brunch I got catfish and grits! Do not recommend. Not seasoned. Grits were horrible. Service was bad we sat there for 15 minutes finally went to the bar to order our drinks. Watched two others that were dining say excuse me ma'am for the waitress to ignore them. The DJ seen how she ignored them and asked what did they need. Utensil don't come with your food or before so definitely request when you sit down.

Atlas has a funky lounge design that is warm, inviting and screams that you made it out of the house so you're ready to rage. They always have great energy in their music, creative cocktail menu, and food. I had a tasty Sidecar variation called Between Da Sheets (photo 2). They added rum to the classic recipe of cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice. The rum gave it a bit of a vacationy feel which was nice. It was well-balanced and quite tasty. They then decided to kick us out because we had too many people in the restroom. I only got one of the security guards name his name is Anthony another man in his 40s who had an accent decided to put his hands on me and push me. We were all so confused why we were getting kicked out. I will never be going back! That is absolutely insane. We did not take a long time either and they said it was gonna take too long if we all went together, which makes no sense. We took MAYBEEE 5 to 7 minutes in the restroom. The owner needs to get a grip on his security guards. Especially the ones that look like their on drugs sneaking people in from the back and the one man who put his hands on me for absolutely no reason!!! When I entered I was immediately, at the door, shaken down by security guards who were checking everyone coming in for ID and apparently weapons. Very strange. Very unexpected for what I thought was just a normal Mexican restaurant. Anyway, I went with it because hey...tacos. As I walked into the place I realized that it was more of a Mexican sports bar than a regular restaurant, with a big emphasis on the bar. Lots of people. Kind of loud. Huge containers of beer on many tables. Even huger TVs with lots of sports. And the most unexpected thing...the wait staff was all nearly naked. Not like hooters or twin peaks with skimpy uniforms...but as close to naked as one could be without being naked. Strange. Unexpected. Anyway, the place was lively, the prices were good, and the tacos and beans were really fantastic. Would definitely order again. So if you're in the market for some delicious tacos and sports and large containers of beer, and you don't mind being shaken down by security guards and being served by nearly naked people, give this place a shot.
