[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice ambiance and very chill - definitely adult vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My biggest complaint is that the music was way too loud and I felt like I was yelling to my friend and it was hard to have a conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was a little slow and they weren't even that crowded. I had to go to the bar to ask for service but the young lady was apologetic so I appreciated that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will say the hole in the wall was a little shocker and could've been covered up. Someone must've gotten angry.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Mimosa (watermelon) 6/10: nothing rely special but they have selection of juices to choose from. Catfish, shrimp and grits 7/10: the grits were seasoned well but they were very stiff. The catfish was cooked well though. Salmon deviled eggs 9/10: these were the highlight of the meal. Salmon was seasoned well and the filling was delicious, it also had good flavor. Wings and fries 5/10: the flavor was there but the chicken was ice cold.

Mac and cheese was good! The service could've been better. I finally the service leaves much to be desired when gratuity is already included.

I wish I could give this place a higher treating because the ambiance and the customer service was amazing!!!! This is a beautiful establishment with great decor and vibes! They have music playing not too loud! A great place to go for hookah, the best prices I've seen in Dallas, with many options and different sizes! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of menu items and suggestions! So after scanning the menu I decided to try the blackened salmon! I was told that might not be a good choice because the salmon pieces have been very small lately! I appreciated the honesty. She offered to check but then she came back and said they were completely out! This happens, but I feel as though this is something that should be known before we are given a menu! Then the French Kiss had to be remade! When we got the food the boudin balls were amazing, spicy but would absolutely order again! And the sauce paired perfect! I got the fried fish, with Mac and greens! The greens were good, everything else was average! Would come back for the drinks, boudin and hookah!

Let's start from pulling up.. there's some parking on the side of the building, about 9 spots. After that parking runs out you will park on the street which you will pay for.. Walking in you will be searched by security, ngl that had me wondering what I was walking into The place is a nice size and has a DJ. The restroom was clean, and had a nice sized mirror! I wish it had a full length one though. We ordered quite a few things and I'd say that the boudin balls were the best I'd give it an 7 out of 10.. The glazed lamb chops were okay but had a lot of fat on them.. the potatoes weren't cooked enough and were cold omw guessing they had that waiting on the side while they cooked the lamb. The Hawaiian French toast (5) was good as well, but I wish it would have been more and not so small.. The drinks were greattttt! The bartender huck, I think that was his name. He was so nice and the drinks were made on time and stole the show. The reason for my rating was because of the food and the gratuity, I honestly felt like they went overboard.. and as well as being charged a service charge on top of everything else

We visited Iskina in Dallas on a Saturday night to celebrate my best friend's birthday, and overall, we had a great time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was beautiful, the music set a fun vibe, and the food was truly five-star--everything we ordered was delicious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was friendly and attentive. There were a few hiccups: even though my best friend and her sister ordered before us, their meals came out much later than ours. Also, we got the weekend 2-for-$60 deal, but the desserts were forgotten. However, they did provide an extra complimentary appetizer and a free birthday shot to make up for having to move our table, which was very kind. We'd definitely go back--great food and energy! Overall experience: 4 out of 5 stars.

Unfortunately, this lacks my expectations. I would start with parking was a little challenging. It is very limited, and I would recommend that you know how to back your car into the parking spots. Ambiance: Once you walk in, there is a large lobby area with nowhere to sit if you are waiting to be seated. Therefore, I recommend making reservations. During my experience, there were two hosts and one was assisting another customer while the other did nothing but sit behind the desk with no greetings. Once the first returned, I was able to sit down with my party. There is where it interesting because the seating is a big u-shaped booth with a cocktail style table in the middle of the booth. Which could be a little uncomfortable for many folks. The decor was nice and bar area looked really nice. However, the music was too loud for a normal conversation. Service: As I mentioned there were two hosts at the front desk and one was helping, and the other was not doing anything. The host that helping was not very inviting as well. The wait service was very good. They were willing to assist with questions and concerns my party may have had. Food: The food had flavor but lack in presentation. Especially for my pasta. Also, I asked for the shrimp Mardi gras pasta, and I was missing andouille sausage. In addition, we ordered a drink that stated it was frozen from the menu, but the drink was not frozen. In addition, the prices of meals and drinks were not reasonable in opinion. Overall: It was not the greatest experience, and it is hard for me recommend. I wish them well; however I hope from some of the reviews, they will improve in these areas.

I was visiting Dallas and was looking for a decent hookah lounge/restaurant that didn't have too much of a club vibe, and I stumbled upon Izkina. We were able to walk in and get a table with no reservation, but it's best to make a reservation just in case. We waited a little while for our server to greet us, so service wasn't great. The hookah was large and came with 2 hoses for $45. The food was good! We ordered the oxtail tacos, and the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The only thing that we didn't really care for about the food was that the broccoli was over seasoned and salty. Other than that everything was good.

Great vibes in general. Visited on a Tuesday night and the vibes were nice. Not super crowded and i honestly saw quite a few couples. The music was diverse and the bartender Serg or Paul was super fun. The general ambiance and vibes is a 10/10 Food was fresh and flavorful. The drink was on point!

The service was quick and efficient, and the food was delicious. We started with the deviled eggs and shrimp [I don't remember the name ], which was tasty (I attached a photo). For my main course, I enjoyed the wings with greens and mac 'n cheese...I'm country, I needed some cornbread but they don't serve it! . My husband enjoyed the catfish with sweet potatoes and rice and gravy! The food arrived promptly, hot and fresh. However, the music was a bit too loud, making conversation challenging. While the music selection was nice, I found myself singing along a few times, it was just too loud for my 40+ ears.... Overall, the food and service were excellent, but due to the loud music we cut our visit short after eating.....

We came for dinner and what a TIME we had. They have cute signs and swings that's picture perfect. Then a secret entrance to the back behind a book shelf which i thought was cool. DJ was playing all the hits so it was a really good vibe. Dinner is served until about 830pm. After that they switch to the late night menu. I got the steak tacos, which were bomb! And ended up ordering more! My friend who got the catfish wasn't too impressed with her entree choice. Soon after dinner, the ambiance changes to a night club setting so seating is limited unless you have booth reservations. Overall it was a fun time.

Salmon Salmon, Shrimp, & Grits Lunch

The food was solid, but with the shrimp and grits, I feel like the grits didn't have much flavor. Oxtail tacos were GREAT though.

No. But what has us coming back is their consistency and attention to detail. The space is gorgeous and each room brings a different vibe to the dining experience. We were sat in the darkest of the rooms that was very romantic, and thankfully the music wasn't too loud. When we were seated we found a frame on the table holding a message congratulations us on our anniversary, with our names included. It was very sweet! Our server was prompt, attentive, and very charming. She asked us questions about ourselves and also gave great recommendations throughout the night. The drinks were good! However, the Passionate Kiss started to taste very chemical forward the longer it sat (I'm a slow drinker) so I only finished half of it. Not sure if it was because of the print on the foam originally or what, but it wasn't pleasant. I got the scallops and loved them, especially since I was able to try their orzo with it that normally comes with the salmon instead. The scallops were tender and the flavor was rich and well balanced with the rest of the plate. My boyfriend loved his chops and devoured everything. He also got the Potatoes Au Gratin and couldn't get enough. They were very rich and had great flavor. I had previously seen reviews from others saying the potatoes and other dishes were bland but that was not our experience. The rolls were one of the best parts. I wish I could whip butter like that at home. Towards the end they brought us a couple of glasses of Prosecco to cheers with, and a complimentary dessert (the Samoa sundae). We also ordered the Chocolate Decadence which was incredibly good. The goal is to come back next year, and plenty of times before that as well. Thanks to the Evelyn team for such a great dinner!

The items on the menu were up to par, but the food itself was not as great as it should be for what you're paying for it. We ordered caviar service which was done well. The lobster dish for 2 was a good portion of lobster and pasta. Do yourself a favor and order the chocolate cake for dessert (get this!) it was moist and indulgent! The service was excellent, and our server gave us some great recommendations throughout the evening. We tried the I Dream of Kiwi, Only Fans, and the Soft Serve Margarita. The first two were refreshing, fruity, and packed with flavor, while the Soft Serve Margarita was a fun twist on a classic. For food, we had the Caesar salad, beef cheek tacos, and the Apothecary Burger with the truffle fries upgrade. The Caesar was a little too heavy on the dressing for my taste, making it quite fishy, so I'd recommend asking for the dressing on the side or going light on it. The burger with truffle fries was easily a 9/10, and the beef cheek tacos were just as good--tender, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. One of the best parts is the happy hour offered every day until 6:30 PM, with all "Over the Counter" cocktails for $12 and 50% off food. The dirty martini, my go-to, was also perfect. The most pleasantly surprising drink was the popcorn bourbon cocktail. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving.
