    This was yummy!

Good but not great. The drinks were good, we ordered a bunch of different cocktails. However, the mains were just a bummer. The noodles tangy, the fish smelly. I'd probably go there again for the chef specials like kimchi pancakes and the mushroom dish. But overall, meh!

We came here to celebrate a birthday with drinks and the staff was amazing even though we didn't order food. They even brought the birthday girl a dessert. I got their spicy hibiscus margarita which was so tasty, all of their drinks were good and our whole party was happy. We also tried their cold pressed juices. I got their beet juice to go and it was authentic and I truly got my money's worth. If you like seafood this is the place to go but they also have an extensive bar. I will be back.

I can't believe I used to walk right past this place! Now I'm wondering why I waited so long. We came for Galentine's Day dinner and it was absolutely phenomenal. The food was incredible. Portions are generous, so we split a few appetizers and shared a main, which ended up being perfect. Every single dish was thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. One of my favorite parts (and this might sound funny) was the atmosphere. It was lively but not overwhelmingly loud like so many restaurants that morph into clubs as the night goes on. This felt like a true dining experience, a place that genuinely wants you to slow down, enjoy your food, connect with your people, and savor the moment. The service was equally impressive. We asked our server for recommendations and simply trusted her and she did not miss. Every suggestion was spot on. We ordered the pork chop as our main, fully expecting it to be a little dry (as pork chops often are), and it was anything but. It was tender, flavorful, and honestly one of the best surprises of the night. I rarely order pork chops, and now I'm rethinking that decision. It's easy to see why this is a Michelin-recommended farm-to-table restaurant. From the food to the service to the ambiance, everything felt intentional and elevated. Already looking forward to coming back.

My husband and I debated between 3.5 and 4 stars for this restaurant. We loved the seasonal, fresh menu, but nothing totally blew us away. The restaurant itself is open, modern and very great vibe for a weekend dinner. Our server (Jojo I think?) was great. Gave us some great recommendations and overall was prompt with a great personality. To start the yellowfin crudo was delish! Had a fresh raspberry purée with great flavors. We also got the focaccia that was light and flavorful. My husband got the duck confit that was good. Warm, comforting with bold curry flavors. I got the glass noodles with salmon. The fish was great and the noodles had fresh vegetables and good miso flavors. The noodles were kind of hard to eat given the texture, but tasty. Again, all was good but for the price, it just didn't blow us away or leave us wanting more. Def worth the try!

We came here last night and we had a fabulous time! At first the ambiance was busy which is a good sign, it means good food and I'd say that is accurate because the food was divine. Our waitress took good care of us. We did come in super hungry because we usually eat around 7ish and our reservation was at 8:30. Our waitress wanted us to know our entire order before putting anything in so it was a lot of pressure at first. We started off with the kimchi pancake and I didn't get to take a photo because I was starving we devoured it. Nevertheless, it has a good spice and nice texture. Then our main entrees came. Hubby got the duck confit which had a wonderful pairing of sweet coconut sticky rice with the spicy duck. The oven grilled grape sort of freaked him out a bit though Then I got the day boat scallop and it's one of the best scallops I've had to date. Scallops were perfectly cooked and had a sweet and savory flavor in itself, while the bacon added a wonderful savory flavor addition to it. I got so full so I ended up taking half of it home. Our waitress apologized for the food taking long so she treated us to a wonderful dessert. It was a merengue cookie with some fruits! It was so delicious and light! I would say Dallas really has some gems and this place is one of them!

I really enjoyed written by the seasons! It wasn't my fanciest Michelin rec'd experience, but the vibes were very good. I was in town and made the reservation in the afternoon and did not have any issue (although I did have to call to make the res - the Resy website did not allow me to make a dinner res for 1 person at any time, they told me on the phone it is a glitch). When I arrived that evening the place was packed, it was very busy! The area itself is popular and fun, so that adds to the vibe. There is only street parking, no lots. I was there on a Friday evening, so the only spot I barely found was about 2.5 blocks away (I got it as someone was leaving luckily)! Plan accordingly~ I had a cocktail called their summer tonic and requested they make it a bit sweeter since it's a dry drink. It was perfect! And the bartender (I believe his name was Logan) was also great - very attentive and helpful with recs. For dinner I had the day boat scallops with risotto and veg ($48); a bit pricey but the plate had me full by the end so overall pretty good value. And as a last note, there are individual room bathrooms - they are very clean. Overall wasnt totally blown away by my experience, but found everything to be quite favorable. Would definitely come back for another drink or dessert any time :)

This place has been open for a couple of years now and had been on my list of places to visit FOREVER. Well, my friend decided to have her 40th birthday dinner here so I FINALLY got a chance to check it out. We had a reservation for 7 people on a Friday night. We were sat immediately on the outside patio. The place is so cute and small, and the location is everything (Bishop Arts). All the food and drinks we ordered were great. Our server was also amazing. My only complaint is that things took FOREVER to come out. To give you an example of timing and how backwards our orders were, we had two friends join us an hour after we sat down and their wine came out before our cocktails. Overall, I'd definitely go back because the food was too good. I wish I had more pictures but I was too busy eating.

Amazing restaurant, service was wonderful. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating for our 1.5 yr old. The only downside to this place is that it's not the most family friendly for little ones. When we got there we asked for a high chair but they said they only have one, which was in use by another party. At the time it didn't bother us too much since he was still asleep in his car seat but it made us feel very awkward. It was pouring rain and they mentioned they would have to run across the street to Paradiso to get a high chair from them since they apparently share resources. An interesting setup but it was slightly unprofessional to guilt trip us for wanting a perfectly reasonable accommodation that could be found at your nearest Chili's. I can't knock the food because it was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Hopefully next time they'll have more than one high chair on standby!

This is my go-to for a rotating seasonal menu and quality meal in Dallas. The space is beautiful with indoor/outdoor seating and a small bar. The dishes are always tasty. The service is great. We went for our friendiversary and they made it so special for us. The wine was great.

We have been wanting to stop by here for quite a while and are glad we did. Parking is a little tough but that's just the area it's in. The restaurant was full but nice and tables were spaced so it didn't feel crowded. Our waitress, Ellie, was great. She was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Very very good! Our food was excellent as well! We got the focaccia bread starter, trout fritters, and pork belly small plate, and then the duck confit, and cod for our entrees. Everything was very tasty and we loved it all! We were stuffed after all that food but the table next to us had recommended the guava cheesecake so we ordered that and it was our favorite thing we ordered. Highly recommend! Our drinks looked cool and were very tasty as well! I would come back when the menu changes as it changes 4 times a year and would definitely recommend!

So my sorority sister and I went out for lunch. Still fairly new to the Dallas Area, she recommended Bishop Arts. After we found parking the original plan was " tacos" but all that changed when we saw this " Cute ,quaint, airy restaurant space. Our servers name was Samantha"Sam", she was very chill and since this was our first time trying the restaurant she explained the regular menu which is curated every couple of months as well as the happy hour menu. It was a long week we chose burgers and I'm grateful. They were so filling and fresh, the veggies were amazing and crisp, and don't even get me started in the salad with lemon vinaigrette dressing. Chefs kiss . All and all, please give them a try, it will be beyond worth it. Shout-out to Samantha for being amazing.

Came here on a whim as i just landed in Dallas. Found this place, came here at 9:15 on a 10pm close -- called ahead and was greeted with such incredible energy, i sped there! Got the simple salad and their cod -- blew me away. This place is absolutely fantastic Carly the bartender was super friendly and made herself available. I would run, not walk, back here. Cod was one of the best I've ever had

On the other side I've never had a lobster roll before but this genuinely has no flavor and has experienced some serious shrinkflation when compared to other pictures here on yelp of it. We made our reservation about a month in advance and had no issues at all with booking. The process was quick and easy. Leading up to our reservation, however, there was some confusion regarding the menu being served during our reserved time. After calling ahead, we were told there would be a children's menu available and that we could order from either the brunch or dinner menu. Unfortunately, once we were seated, we found that only the brunch menu was available. Since this was our first visit, several of us had already looked through the online menus and picked out dinner items we wanted to try, so it was disappointing to have to pivot, especially for those in our group who aren't really breakfast food people. Thankfully, we were still able to find dishes everyone enjoyed, and the food itself was exceptional. Standouts for our table included the dip (definitely add the crab!), the steak and eggs, and the Nashville chicken sandwich. We also ordered the oxtail hash, but it was a little too spicy for our mom due to the jerk seasoning, which wasn't clearly advertised on the menu. Thankfully, the issue was addressed quickly and professionally. The true highlight of our experience was the service. From the hostess to servers simply passing by our table, everyone was warm and friendly. Our server, Cooper, was absolutely fantastic. His smile, energy, and sense of urgency had us laughing because he practically ran to grab whatever we needed, yet never missed a beat. We had a few feral children in our group, and he handled them with so much patience and kindness, even entertaining their off-the-wall requests. It was also great seeing the manager actively walking the floor and checking on tables throughout service. Not sure if it was because of the print on the foam originally or what, but it wasn't pleasant. I got the scallops and loved them, especially since I was able to try their orzo with it that normally comes with the salmon instead. The scallops were tender and the flavor was rich and well balanced with the rest of the plate. My boyfriend loved his chops and devoured everything. He also got the Potatoes Au Gratin and couldn't get enough. They were very rich and had great flavor. I had previously seen reviews from others saying the potatoes and other dishes were bland but that was not our experience. The rolls were one of the best parts. I wish I could whip butter like that at home. Towards the end they brought us a couple of glasses of Prosecco to cheers with, and a complimentary dessert (the Samoa sundae). We also ordered the Chocolate Decadence which was incredibly good. The goal is to come back next year, and plenty of times before that as well. Thanks to the Evelyn team for such a great dinner!

Before you read my review... my favorite places to eat do not look the nicest, but serve very…read moreflavorful food and are clean. The restaurant was very beautiful inside, but does not give the correct vibes. Music was very very loud, and the crowd was super "influencer-y" . People are taking photos everywhere which makes sense for how much you are paying for your meal. Our sever was great, very attentive. The food was good. The items on the menu were up to par, but the food itself was not as great as it should be for what you're paying for it. We ordered caviar service which was done well. The lobster dish for 2 was a good portion of lobster and pasta. Do yourself a favor and order the chocolate cake for dessert (get this!) it was moist and indulgent! Overall, the look was amazing, vibes were not intimate, more party esq. food was good not great, drinks were strong and tasty. Absolutely worth it for the experience.
