Victoria's Collections runs from a small booth in the LA Diamond District. Both my fiance and I were originally wary of working with people in the jewelry/diamond industry, due to negative experiences we've had in the past and due to our knowledge of the industry. But a lot of our wariness was dispelled when we met Victoria. We custom-designed my engagement ring. At first, I wasn't involved in working directly with Victoria since my fiance was working with her and communicating my ideas to her. But that became a little stressful for him (and myself) so I ended up communicating with Victoria myself. And boy, am I glad I did! Although I don't have a design background whatsoever and am not the most detail-oriented, Victoria totally "got me" and what it was that I was trying to convey to her. She worked within the set time frame that we asked of her (which was fairly tight). She apparently works with a craftsman who has been doing this for 20+ years and it definitely shows in the engravings and little details on the ring. The quality of the diamond (center stone) was amazing. It is so sparkly and I get a lot of comments on how sparkly it is. She provides GIA certification. I get SO many comments on how "beautiful" and "unique" my ring is. I've heard multiple people tell me that it's the most beautiful ring they ever saw. My fiance and I also got the wrong ring size (we got sized at another jewelry store). Even though it was technically our fault for giving her the wrong ring size, she resized it on the house. She knew I would be leaving for NYC within 36 hours so she got it done within 24 hours. Amazing amazing customer service. With that said - I am grateful for Victoria. She is a hard worker and gets things done. She also seems to just "get" people and their style. She knows jewelry really well. She also has an "auntie" quality to her.. Stay far far away from Victoria! She is a complete thief! I went to get my wedding ring melted down and recast to make a new ring for my husband. I waited several weeks and upon return to check out the new ring, I FOUND MY CUSTOM RING in her display for sale! When I asked her why my ring was in display and she was claiming that she had melted down she denied it and then refused to show me my custom ring that she was reselling.
