I visited this Victoria's Secret today if I could give this place ZERO stars I would! I had a really disappointing experience. When I walked in, I was greeted by an associate, and I kindly told her I was just browsing and would ask for help if needed. As I started to look around, she gave me an attitude, made a rude coughing noise, said "UMM OK" in a sarcastic tone, and continued to stare at me which made me uncomfortable. The store itself was messy and unorganized. One girl was folding underwear and didn't bother to ask if I needed help finding a size. At the register, the associate helping me was also unfriendly. When I asked a simple question about pricing, she responded with an attitude. She then asked if I wanted to sign up for the store credit card I told her I already have one and that I'm not using my cards right now, and she seemed irritated by my answer. When I went to pay, she even questioned if the card I was using was mine because I didn't enter my PIN I was shocked! That was extremely rude and unnecessary. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've encountered poor customer service at this location. I usually love shopping at the Topanga Mall, but I won't be returning to this Victoria's Secret. The staff consistently come across as rude and unhelpful, and management really needs to address training or staffing. If you want a pleasant shopping experience, I would recommend visiting a different location. The selection of clothing, bras, and underwear were great! There was also a sale going on, which didn't have much but you could look through to try and find your size. I had a coupon so decided to go since I was at this mall already. Staff was friendly, but there was only like 2 employees. One was with a customer and I didn't want to bother but I had to check out. I saw the same kind of complaint with the rude employee of yours I had a problem with; another unsatisfied customer's comment posted the same employee's pic. She is rude and arrogant with zero respect and poor service, despite I am a credit card holder for years, I kindly asked her to check my rewards due to an application malfunction. I was in a busy line already waiting for a long time, she refused to check instead told me to step aside for 20 minutes to restart my application. Additionally, when I simply requested to be attended by another cashier because I was waiting too long, she immediately replied that she will take care of me when she was already taking care of another customer when I was not feeling her nasty vide, after taking my purchase I mentioned again to her; my rewards as she was trying to apply less of my discount shown on my app account. I asked to double check and she was obnoxious and rude even lazy to verify. Do better if that staff has caused problems and has service issues towards clients then she is a problem. I am not the only one complaining. Is she a manager please see all negative feedback. It's been years I'm shopping from Victoria Secret. And I should try before purchasing. I took couple of bras to try to see which one is good in my body. I asked where is the fitting room and she started to questioning me why you want to try! Do you want someone to measure you? Why you want to try them? You don't know your size ? I hadn't worn a push up bra in my life, and I didn't even know my size, because I usually just wear ugly pull over bras, because underwire back in the day used to hurt. I called as I was in Westlake Village at the time, I asked if they had an item. the girl came back, said yes and put my name on it. I told the girl I did not want the short set, the one with pants. I drove in traffic, went to the front desk, and told them I had a hold. It wasn't their, they had no idea where it would have gone! They went to get me another one, I paid for it, walked out the store, they left the sensor on! Then I came home, wrapped the gift, gave it and they were the wrong one. I asked for Pink & Gray Flannel PJ;s in medium and they gave me the ones that have shorts on. Which means I have to drive back to the store, do a return and hope they have the right size. I don't care for this location as much as the one in the Northridge Mall. This one seems smaller and doesn't have the stock it should and are out of many types of make-up without proper re-stocking. Plus the gals that work there are so rude at times... just ignore you and stay on their cell phones without looking up. I shopped today w my sister, and I spent almost $500. I had left my VS credit card at home in another wallet but this happens sometimes over the years and it's no problem, they look it up or call corporate w your id. Never been a problem once. These two girls behind the register barely looked at us, talked to each other about hurrying up to close and "getting out of there" so when I told them can they look up my card they looked at me and said it won't work. Awful employees! They all need to be retrained. There was a promo so I asked one of the employees if a certain item was part of it because it was located on a table with other promo items. She told me, "if it's on this table, it is". I go to get rung up and of course it is not. Also, cashiers need to pay attention to people starting their own lines. I was waiting in line for 15 minutes when a person decides to create her own line. The cashier should have told the person that there are other people in line. Additionally, there is no organization. I will keep this review short because there is not much to say about this location. The staff is horrible. I asked for help and was told that "I will be right with you." So upon waiting and waiting for about 5-7 minutes the Victoria's Secret representative never showed up. I tried to get someone else to help me but they were already helping someone else so I did not want to bother her unless I saw her without a customer. I checked from where I was standing to see if there was someone at the register whom would notice me but the two reps were preoccupied with each other and there were no customers in line. I ended up finding what I needed with the help of my mom. When I went to purchase my item I was asked if anyone had helped me and of course I said no. The rep said, "perhaps it is because we were so busy." I told her I do not agree with that. I wish there was a ZERO star rating on Yelp, because I would have used it for this review with PLEASURE.... Couple of weeks ago (Oct 17th to be exact), I returned an Item at this store... The girl who was helping me, didn't seem like she knew what she was doing... Returning one item took about 5 mins which is way too long if you know what you are doing!!!! So 2 weeks has passed and the credit has not hit my VS card.... So I called customer service and they said that they don't see the credit (duh!).... So I asked what my options were as far as getting this resolved. She said that I needed to Mail them a copy of the returned receipt and then they would be able to do an investigation on it... I mean seriously??!!! We are not in 20th century that everything was through mail.. Can't this be done electronically, meaning me emailing the scanned receipt to the department!!!!! I was soo mad.... After talking to the unhelpful customer service department, I thought I should contact the store directly and talk to a supervisor... Well, I ended up talking to one named Kelly, that she mentioned that there is nothing they could do at the store... I was like, canI bring the receipt to your store and you call the customer service... And she said that she is pretty sure that is not an option but she would be willing to call the customer service department and call me back... Well guess what, after 4 days I am still waiting for her call back... So today I called the storeback again and I was told that Kelly is off, so I talked to another supervisor named Barry... So after explaining the whole situation again, he again told me that he would call the customer service and give me a call back... Which he did.... He called me back saying that there is nothing that he can do at the store regarding this matter.... Ok there are some issues here that need to be addressed: 1) Through all these telephone conversations, none of the supervisors asked me which sales associate helped me in the first place... I mean this can happen to anybody and if I hadn't kept my return receipt, they would have done nothing for me!!!!!! 2) If I am late by one day, they charge all sorts of fees and stuff, but when it comes to them screwing up with people's money, there is not even an apology made...... Bottom line is that I will not be shopping from VS anymore. After getting my money back, I will be closing my credit card with them and saying bye bye to them for good!!!! The Victoria's Secret is always been one of my top favorite lingerie and bras. As a long time costumer I like search for the great deals such as semi annual sale or Black Friday clearance. One thing I notified they many of these stores are not promoting under $25 sales on bras since the last 8 years ago when their New Years sales. For the retail price of the bras that cost $65.00 as discount only 50-60 it's not becoming a bargain sale. I still love their brands but if Victoria's Secret still increasing their prices up it's not becoming that Afforable as much as before especially on a bra or lingerie the I can window shop some where else. read more
