My wife wanted to stop by this store to look at some dresses while we were at Westfield Topanga mall with our baby daughter. She thought the window display looked nice so she went inside. The store isn't that big inside especially with a stroller so I stayed outside. My wife like some of their dresses but didn't purchase anything at the store. What in the heck happened to this place?! I'm hoping the garments were temporarily swapped out for Halloween, but this place looked like street walker central! Only about 30% of the store was dedicated to dresses. And the dresses were subpar in fabric and design. Quite overpriced for the quality. We were looking for a dress for my kid's homecoming dance. No one greeted us, but that's okay, our faces were too appalled to speak. Lol we walked out of there so fast! If you're taking your daughter to get a dress for a dance, try Macy's. There aren't very many options for the younger crowd, BUT we lucked out with a solid pick, and found shoes there as well. read more

I walked into this Windsor today and not one associate acknowledged me. No greeting, no "welcome in," no offer to assist -- nothing. I had to approach them just to get help with a size. That is unacceptable for retail. Greeting customers is basic customer service -- especially in fashion retail -- and it should happen automatically. I should not have to stand in the store feeling invisible. This location needs to do better with acknowledging customers and making people feel valued the moment they walk in. read more

I've been coming here for 20 years but today they completely lost my business over the lack of customer service and consideration over my 3 year old child being medically unable to wear a silly mask! I was condemned and harassed by an employee insisting on putting a mask on my child. When I told her she physically medically cannot wear one due to her medical disability, she continued to insist that she is "required by law" to wear one or show her proof of my child's disability or we had to leave. Ummm excuse me, employee of Windsor, I do not have to show you crap about my child's medical issues and it is also NOT a law. I put all the clothes down that I had in my hand ready to purchase and left. Instead of being considerate and accommodating to ALL, they'd rather lose business over it. I ended up at the Windsor at Topanga mall and I was first greeted by the store manager Blanca while looking through all the beautiful and various dresses they had in store. She came out of her way and gave me her time! Blanca offered her help right away and helped me find the perfect dress. She then offered to help me find jewelry and shoes which was much appreciated because I came home with a whole outfit thanks to the store manager Blanca!!! Today, October 12 2019, I just had the best last minute shopping experience ever! I came into Windsor looking for a last-minute homecoming dress, day of, with only an hour prior to the dance. I was extremely stressed out and was looking for a good deal. I asked Blanca at the front desk where I could find a dress for a good price and that would look good on me and she picked out the perfect dress on the first try. I had the most amazing experience today at Windsor Topanga mall. I was in n out of like 5 stores before I stopped in looking for a Valentine's Day fit. Blanca greeted me right away and she was beyond helpful. Literally helped me shop for 2 hours. After having a terrible experience at the windsor in NORTHRIDGE Mall, being discriminated against when simply trying to return or exchange a dress i called costomer service and was recommended to try a different store like the Topanga Mall, when coming here i received the most positive and helpful environment for an easy exchange or return with Michelle and another shorter curly haired girl that both problem solved together to best accommodate me with a return. So, I feel like more people are more likely to go on Yelp and talk about something that pisses them off instead of actually saying something nice when it comes to shopping in malls. I can say that I have worked in retail, customer service and in the service industry for more than 15 years. Holding a retail job is extremely exhausting. You're on your feet all day, people are mad at you if your stock didn't come in (as if you have any control over that) people are pissed if someone is taking longer than average to check out (once again, your salesclerk has nothing to do with that)sometimes the lights, the music, the uncontrollable children running around in the store, while their mothers think you'll babysit their kids for them, the quota that's pushed by corporate and the "cattiness" from your co-workers can happen all to frequently and it kills your positive vibes. That being said, I had an awesome experience with the ladies that work at Windsor Topanga. I felt like my own personal version of "pretty woman" (without being an escort) while Blanca tried her hardest to get me in trendy and cute clothes. They kept coming in with different outfits for me to try. It was so sweet of them to really cater to everyone that was in there, yesterday. I was there for 2 hours! As far as what I experienced, those girls worked their butts off. I'm picky and I ended up buying a lot of what was suggested. That is some amazing customer service and props to all of them! Today I went in the Windsor at the Topanga Canyon Mall. I've never been, but I was kinda scared because it had some low reviews (the reviews are kinda old though) Anyway, I went in and I'm sure they have had management changes because that store is fabulous. It's clean and had great customer service. I was greeted upon entering by Karina I believe her name. As I walked around looking, Suelayma (I'm 1000% sure I misspelled that) came to check up and make sure I was finding all that I needed. Super disappointed with my visit here today. The gal working there seemed to be having a bad day, as she was very cold and unfriendly when showing me to a dressing room, and didn't give me so much as a hello. I felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable to engage with her any further when I had questions. The dressing room floors were filthy, smelt like feet, and were covered in glitter. I felt horrible trying on long dresses as they would hit the floor and get covered in dust and glitter. I even got glitter all over my own clothes which is rather annoying. A good mop down of those dressing rooms is strongly needed. The dresses I looked at didn't have a good variety of sizes stocked. I only found one medium sized dress amongst the 7 dresses I tried on. I'm giving a second star because I've had good experiences at this location in the past. It's really disappointing to see the store being run like this. read more
