As I'm a regular Victoria Secret shopper I had a bad experience at this Victoria Secret today, January 2, 2020 at 8:30pm. I spend so much money in this store & have about everything in it. Went in the Tyson's mall location today and all the sales people were very nice. As I've been in the store so many times and kept forgetting my birthday coupon which had expired a month ago they would not honor it. The manager wasn't nice and was just like nope! And that was it then she was on her way. Of course I still purchase my items but was turned off by her in customer service attitude. There was no I'm so sorry but.... I go to Potomac Mills Victoria Secret because there was an item I wanted but a different color and they NICELY accepted my coupon. I won't go back into the Tyson's location. All the money I spend with them and just the way that manager handled me was just not welcoming. read more

I consider myself a big fun of Victoria's Secret underwear, I only shop in this store. Manager on duty "Isabella" was awful. I was about to check out and I asked for the manager since i had a question about all the coupons the store sent me. -Previously, the lady who help me to find the right size Nicely suggested me to talk to manager who could resolve my doubts-. Isabella didn't bother herself to come to the front desk or cashier area to take care of me, she just send a voice message to the cashier and left. I had to say again that I wanted to talk to manager to clarify my doubts. She finally came but her attitude was unprofessional, mean and o just felt that I had a very poor customer service. I was frustrated but I still was going to check out. Then I said to myself, "nah, never mind, I won't spend any dollar here after the way she treated me." And left. Went to this location last night to exchange bras bought online, about an hour before closing. It was pretty busy but the sales and fitting people were just the right level of attentive and helpful. Was escorted for fitting which was quick and great service. Initially there were not many of the bra I wanted in my size on the floor, but the fitting room person (Ilena?) called into someone to check downstairs supply and in minutes I had my choice of all the colors available. I was happier than my original online purchase and even somehow saved a few $$. Honestly left quite happy and impressed because that level of service and cheerfulness is so rare. And I have found their bras do last much better than others I've tried over years. read more

I ROCK, I RULE, I'M WAY TO COOL FOR SCHOOL... Or at least that's the kind of crap I hear coming from the constituency from here. Yes my fellow yelp-a-holics, it is a MAN cracking the review book on Victoria's Secret!!! Alright, I have several beefs with this place and I'll start from the beginning: 1. The clerks - ok, I understand that they get a bonus or commission if they open up enough store cards for the customers. Big whoop. But damn it, when the social isn't yours to do so, then don't do it. Now, we're not talking malicious fraud in the evil sense of the word, however, proper integrity wasn't exercised here. Seeing that my wife is a new immigrant and didn't understand that we don't do "points only" cards in the US (charge and credit baby!), the clerk asked her if she'd like to open one and get a discount. Well, my wife only having a military dependent ID right now, showed her the ID when asked. The clerk, not wanting to be deterred, didn't ask her why the box that said "social security number" was empty but instead went over and put "sponsor's social security number" into the application. Thank goodness for Citibank's identity monitor - or I wouldn't have found out for while. Compound my irritation with the fact that I called their credit department and they said I would have not received the bill since the box or street number wasn't written into the system. HELLO???? 2. Teenagers - ok, I understand that a tween or older might start getting her curves. God forbid I have a daughter and she comes home with half of the items in that store. The Pink collection - a tad risque but hey, if she wants to feel fun under her clothes, then go for it. But feeling sexy at that age? Let's do the Wayne's World moment for a second...doodoodoo dooo doodoodoo dooo doodoodoo dooo...... Me: What's that pink bang? My girl: Nothing for you, daddy. Me: Come on, show me what you got. My girl: Dad, it's private. You don't need to see that. Me: If it's what I think it is... My girl: Oh, they're harmless... Me: *cutting her off* then you shouldn't be embarrassed about it. I do the laundry too and see what's in the basket. My girl: But daddy....*reluctantly shows* Me: YOU'RE GROUNDED!!!!!! My girl: But I didn't do anything!!! Me: Give those here!!! You're grounded....*sputtering* until...you're...30!!!!! My girl: YOU'RE RUINING MY LIFE, I HATE YOU!!! Me: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! *Garth moment of snapping back to reality* Ok, seriously, I'm directing my kids to Wal-Mart. *shudder* I was waiting for my wife to finish and I overheard three tweens doing renditions of "oh my gawd, that's...so...hawt" as they picked through every thong available. They actually picked a couple, bought them, and left!!! Ugh...I get shivers just thinking about it. I am getting fond of the fact that they are now going into a few 'risque' items though...but anyway, I'm just more miffed about the whole charge card thing. I had amazing service here. The associates were very friendly and approachable. Three women in particular, Jasmine (manager), and a Spanish and Indian lady -I forgot their names, but both over 40, were friendly and delivered amazing service when me and a friend stopped in one weekday evening. I had stopped going to VS because it looked like most of the lingerie catered to a teen/tween crowd, but was happy to see something for the mature woman inside. read more

I used to wear a 36C from VS before my breast augmentation. When I went back to get remeasured for the first time, the lady working there started measuring me in the middle of the store with my bra (from Nordstrom - WOULD absolutely recommend) and clothes on then decided to announce my size to anybody within 20 feet of us, which apparently was still a C. No discretion and terrible job sizing aka wasting my time results in a one star rating. read more

I really like this location. Huge selection of products and the staff is quite nice and accommodating. Several times they have placed online orders (free shipping) for items they didn't have in my size in store. Also, one of the few VS stores around that carries VSX sportwear! read more

When I stopped by VS yesterday, I was wondering if it was normal for ALL locations to have the slowest service known. And then I happened to come here and guess what lots of the complaints were? haha. I went to VS last week for the start of the semi annual sale. Not one person asked if I needed help. No problem, I preferred to stay focused anyways. Someone came to give me a bag. Great. Then, I went to the fitting room where I had to find someone to get me in a room. Then, when I went to the register, no matter what time of day you go to this store, there is always a long line. Wondering if they are THAT busy or they are just slow? I believe it's the latter. Yesterday, I came back to return a bunch of stuff. With two registers opened, they still had about 8 people in line and one register is just taking their sweet sweet time. I'm not sure what the customer was asking or what the lady at the register was doing, but the other line had 3 people in and out by then. I get up there, to return my items, and every single item that she pulled out, she had to properly fold, right there, in front of me and put it away behind her carefully. Seriously?!?! read more

I have avoided VS for years. I'm 55 and I don't identify at all with VS marketing. I like underwear that is comfortable and practical. I don't need much support at all "up top," so I rarely buy bras and I eschew underwires if I can find a comfy sports bra or camisole with a built in bra to wear for everyday. Yet...I needed some bras so I braced myself and went to VS at Tysons Corner. I was overwhelmed by the glitz of their remodel and by the vast array of styles, colors, and displays. I didn't know where to start. So I asked for help. Karen, on the floor, told me how their bra process works and ushered me to the fitting rooms in the back. I had to wait a few minutes for a room to open up, and when one did, another customer service rep escorted me in. Then Ana showed up -- the bra specialist -- and got me started. The VS bra shopping process, as explained and guided by Ana and Karen, is fantastic. First they give you a couple of plain black bras to try for proper sizing. Ana inspected me and determined I needed a bigger size than the first measure had indicated. Once we got the size nailed down, she brought me a range of different styles -- all in plain black -- so I could select the styles that were most comfortable and matched what I was looking for, to wear under work clothes. Using the plain black bras throughout the fitting/style selection process is brilliant, because the customer is not distracted by color/pattern/frills. Ana showed me how to properly adjust straps, explained what a proper fit should be, and was pleasant, positive, professional, and really efficient throughout the process. While she was serving several customers at the same time, running back and forth between rooms, she made me feel like I was her only customer. I liked the fact I was in a private, spacious fitting room where I could take my time and deposit my other shopping bags. I also liked the way they put a light up button in the room so that when I was ready for Ana to come take a look, or bring me something else, all I had to do was push it. No cracking the door open and sticking my head out, half-clothed. Once I had size and styles selected, Ana gave me a card with my size and selections checked off and turned me over to a floor rep. I went back to Karen, and she efficiently escorted me around the store and pulled the drawers with the size/styles I wanted. All I had to do was select color, the fun part. Working with a VS customer service rep transformed my impression and experience of the store. While I won't go in there to browse, because I still find it too overwhelming, I will definitely go back there if/when I need new bras. Point of curiosity: My VS experience leads me to believe they have analyzed their process extensively, and they have gotten really good at connecting with customers and helping us feel positive and happy about our bodies when we walk out of there, regardless of shape, size, age. Why then, the marketing focused exclusively on images of women who look nothing like most of us gals? Do we feel just a little more like an "Angel" when we put on that new bra? The cashier was super nice ! There was a misunderstanding of what was on sale today, and instead of charging us with the full price he instead gave us a discount. This was super cool bc it wasn't even his mistake. And he did everything with a smile on his face. I honestly haven't met anyone nicer than he is at this specific location. Awful customer service! I was next in line and was skipped 3 times! And the employees laughed when I told them that. Whoever the manager is needs to really rework that entire team or just hire a new manager. Its a pretty store but the service could be a lot better. Some of the women on the sales floor are amazingly friendly and helpful. However, I heard quite a few loud employee conversations criticising coworkers/ customers or about unprofessional activities (use your imagination). Also, not to be picky, one of the much older associates didn't fold my friend's panties and just balled them up in the tissue paper. I've never been to a VS that does that...just lazy. read more

I give one one thing the store has a lote of awesome cloths i love going in there . The only thing that really bothers me is that there are men sales workers in there and i for one am just not comfortable with that i mean its a store full of panties bras etc for women only. I know they dont discriminate but come on i think in this case it should be looked over and the ladys in there are always so very nice but i know i for one wont go up to the counter if there are men there it is just uncomfortable. read more

Terrible phone customer service. I call looking for fashion tape. I ask what sizes, how many strips in a pack and how much. They first put me on hold for 10 mins. Finally they give me the answers, like its one inch or one finger long. I dont know many people who have 1 inch fingers. I ask where they were in the mall - i vaguely knew but had my brother going in to pick it up so I wanted to give him a store next to it. They COULDN'T GIVE ME AN ANSWER and on top of that, they laughed at me. First they said it was near Macys and I know darn well its on the other side. Then they say Barnes and Noble and I was like, listen, what store is RIGHT NEXT TO YOU. They couldn't or WOULDN'T tell me. I asked them to please hold it for me so my brother could just walk in and pick it up. They were like we have plenty. I said No, keep it at the counter so he can get it and doesn't have to ask or look around for it. Absolutely terrible. I expect more from this mall. Maybe they should hire more competent workers. Service is absolutely slow! Recent reviews on 6/15 and 4/28 sums it up exactly! If you plan on shopping here, allot yourself 1hr minimum or have your phone handle to do some social media or mobile gaming. EXPERIENCE: Waited in line for 45mins and there were only 3 customers ahead of us. When we first lined up, everyone was waiting in the center line. And what should be expected was that when one of the cashiers frees up, the next customer proceeds to that cashier. But then customers started queueing up in the right line when obviously everyone was already waiting in the middle. The middle cashier was extremely slow. Watching paint dry was far more exciting. She was folding everything so delicately and precisely as if every piece of garment needed to be exactly lined up and pressed. Other two cashiers were processing other customers relatively quickly, perhaps 1-2 minutes on average. New customers just started queueing up on the sides so we didn't hop. We should have though in retrospect. This seriously felt slower than the DMV. I mean at least you expect that type of service at a government operated facility, but not at a business. At this rate, you might as well start a ticketing system so customers could shop until their number was called. 45 minutes is an absolutely absurd! I'm surprised that customer didn't start abandoning their purchases. Eventually when it was about our turn to checkout, well maybe another 5+ minutes, it's really hard to say, because the customer at the register hadn't even pulled out her CC and the cashier was still folding. We hopped over to the next line because the gal was just buying lotion. The cashier was nice enough to ring us out first while the gal went to grab another one because of promotion. The entire transaction was 30 seconds! So frustrating! Seriously consider the single queue system so that customers don't queue hop. All it takes a single point of failure and the entire queue waits. But if you have three cashiers operating on the same queue, more than likely it will keep flowing. We should be ashamed of ourselves, we need to learn how to queue properly like they do in the UK. 1-star: I've had hemorrhoids more pleasant than this. 2-star: I would rather avoid this place. 3-star: On par with other similar establishments. 4-star: Will return as often as possible. 5-star: I refuse to find a better place. read more

Worst customer ever! Went to return an item- tags on, had receipt and cc I paid with. They refused to take my return because I didn't have my drivers license with me. When I explained to the store manager why I didn't have with me, she still refused to take my return, and proceeded to lecture me on what priorities ought to be, then turned and walked away. No one offered to help, but I relented and asked an employee for help, she pretended like I wasn't there. Asked her again, more silence. Victoria Secret is a TERRIBLE establishment to work at. I lov the bras & panties, however I'll NEVER work at this location ever again. The managers DO NOT communicate, let alone enforce rules. They don't want to accommodate you or work with you if you have another job or other important activities in your life. They want ALL of your time & you never at the time you're scheduled to leave. The first part of this review is for the PINK store in the mail. The selection in there is OK, but the customer service is not good. I went in there with this free panty voucher I got from the company. Because the assistant manager had never seen it before (and I think she assumed I had been lying about getting it), she took it to the manager who told her that if I wanted to buy a sale panty, I could get a sale panty for free, but if I wanted to buy a full-price panty, I could get a full-price panty for free. I call bullshit. I asked her is she called Victoria's Secret to ask about it, and she said no. So basically her and her manager just made up a rule about something that would have cost them nothing to do. I know if I had taken it to Fair Oaks, they would have been more accommodating. And I really expect a lot more from MANAGERS of a store! I know it seems like a small matter, but I've spent hundreds of my hard-earned money there and deserve better. I've never had issues with the real Victoria's Secret store in the mall, but once the store clerk (who was new, though nice) forget to give me a Secret Rewards card which I had to spent a few weeks talking to the company to get. First of all I would just like to say that Victoria secrets perfumes are my absolute favorite. For instance, on Cinco de Mayo 2014 I was driving home from a party and I had gotten pulled over the light before my neighborhood. The first thing he asked me was "Have you been drinking anything tonight?" I said no when I clearly smelled like beer. So I decided to spray Victoria secret bombshell perfume all over me & in my mouth which had later saved me from a dui. It's safe to say that this perfume is literally life changing. Denise is the worst manager of all time! I have never experience such poor customer service in my life. Because of her inability to explain her register system to me in an attempt to exchange a bra, she asks me "do you understand me?", as if I'm a 5 year old. I told her that I didn't like the way she was speaking to me and she says "okay." I'm assuming this is the way that she always speaks to loyal customers. I have been a VIP angel member (if that means much at all) for several years and I've always had pleasant experiences at this location and many others. Unfortunately for Denise, there were long lines (per usual) and her staff seemed new -and under supported by her- and she had to handle things the way she saw fit. I guess she figured being rude pays. Wrong Denise! You are not a nice individual & it trickles down into your staff. I can see the nervousness and hesitation in their faces. Will not return to this location because of the way the manager Nik treated me. I came in to redeem a Forever Angel gift and was so excited! The sales guy said that they had run out of the item but would gladly offer a scarf instead, which was fine with me. The manager Nik came over and said that they actually could not do that, and could not offer me anything else. I explained that this was the 2nd year in a row that I had come in for my Forever Angel gift, and they had run out way before the end of the promotion, so I was frustrated and was just looking for something else they could offer. He explained that it said 'while supplies last' on the email, and I understood that, but again, as a valued customer I was hoping there was something else he could do as a manager. I work in retail myself and always tell my guests what I can do for them, instead of what I can't, so I asked to speak to his regional manager. He gave me the customer service number instead and I asked him for his name. He rudely pointed at the paper and said "I already put it there!" I commented that I felt he was being rude, and he cut me off, saying sarcastically "Have a nice day, ma'am!" over and over. I couldn't believe his unprofessionalism. What's worse, as I was walking away, he started LAUGHING at me. I turned around to make sure, and he laughed at me again. I can't imagine what his employees and other customers in the store thought about his actions, and I hope they don't see him as an example of how to treat your customers. I immediately called customer service to let them know of the issue, and the representative said that there actually were options for me, and sent me out a gift card. At this point, the physical gift didn't even matter anymore, I just couldn't believe a manager would treat a guest in their store in that manner. Some good did come out of it, however. I shared my experience with my team as a learning moment, and used him as an example of how not to treat you guests, and what could have been done differently.
