Also the staff were not snoody nor unhelpful, they were sweet girls who sincerely wanted to help us, so refreshing. My friend and I decided to stroll through here to browse the gorgeous treasures that always grace the racks of Victoria's Secret .... no pun intended... I recently stocked up on their $5 for $26 panties, so I was good on that department for the time being, but we had a bit of time to kill before our next engagement, and we figured we would browse and if they had anything that jumped out at us, we would have probably taken it home with us... if only they didn't keep hiking the prices up to ridiculously high, unjustifiable levels, I would have put a few purchases on my VIP Angels Card... I mean not even my favorite panty deal remains the same... "$5 for $25" was so much catchier, but nooooo they (I know it's not this store solely, it's corporate decisions higher up, obvi.) just haaaad to start charging that extra dollar.... And their yoga pants... I basically live in them... the crops, the boot cuts, the skinny leg... I own multiple pairs in multiple colors and lengths... I am a true die hard fan of their yoga pant line... amazing, and so flattering! But criiiipes, they are unjustifiably expensive these days, and this poor college graduate cannot afford these anymore! They really need to run more sales, or email coupons or deals on more than just buy several bras and get like $5 off... that's straight bologna! Supervisor Rachel sticking up for her employees mistakes. Refusing to give names when they clearly made a mistake and I want to appropriately call her out. Girl with the RBF face long black hair with blue ends. Thanks for over charging cause you couldn't pay attention. They say it's your first week but of course when you see me come back you run away to the back cause you know you messed up. Not even apologizing or anything. Supposedly it's her first week and these days that's everyone's excuse for any mess ups. Which is super unacceptable but not even apologizing is another like not appropriate move. I was running late for work which is nobody's fault but my own. So that part totally on me. I think they should hire those who take accountability to help run their registers. Or clearly this chick can't and should just be on the floor not knowing what she is doing or talking about to customers then. Pretty sure Rachel said the big FU but with no video proof I can only take that so far. So we will leave that alone. Thanks Rachel for fixing the mistake but dragging on fixing the mistake. I went to VS today to purchase some panties. On the VS website, they have a 5/$30 offer. The actual store had very low stock in most sizes and colors. VS stores used to offer free shipping and price matching on the website sale price as well as free shipping. Today, I was rudely told that they could order the panties, but they would not honor the 5/$30 price. The store has fallen quite far downhill. read more

The Sales Associates was Wonderful and Extremely Helpful. I had a Great experience at this Victoria's secret. I looked for the present for my girl and I decided to bought the bra. I absolutely hate bra shopping the while ordeal always frustrates me. I waked in and grabbed two bras that I thought would work and went to get the purchase. But one girl on staff, was Emma who was just absolutely wonderful! She said, I need to choose the right size for my girl, not grabbed it at by guess. I explained, how my girl looks like. She said that, I was grabbing the wrong sizes this whole time I was reaching for a 34D in reality I was a 38DD. Then she went trough a lot of different types of bras to see what exactly will fit for my girlfriend. Usually I wouldn't tske no more then three bras, but with her I seen at least 10. She made me feel so comfortable and made the whole experience so enjoyable. I left with three bras my girl absolutely loves its! This store is an excellent example as to why brick and mortar stores are closing and online shopping is becoming more prevalent. I went because I had to...coupons were expiring and I wanted to use them. Store was picked over, no new inventory with many half full drawers. You then get to the maybe 15-20 person line...with two cashiers working it. Here's the issue I had here, if you have a line that long that keeps growing...forgo some of the fluff questions "Do you have an angels card? Can I put in your email? Phone number? Anyone helping you?" One of the two cashiers was opening a credit card with someone and on the phone pretty much the whole time and even into me getting to the register. Once I got to the register things only got worse... I was told my card was declined like seven different times, I told them I used it LAST WEEK, they said "sorry we don't have a way to know why, should I put your items on hold so you can come back tomorrow?" I was also offered a number to call "on my own" I said and what? to wait 30 min in line again? my coupon expires today lets figure this out now. This cashier asked for my ID, my social, my mom's (also on the card) social, my ID again...its like I was buying a house!! Also who knows their mother's social?? I didn't! Finally my card worked (knew it would, and no thanks to all of the social security numbers I entered). I still cant find my ID, pretty sure the girl at the register dropped it or something. Back in the day, I bought enough lingerie from here to stock a bordello. I had matching bra/panty sets up the wazoo, pajamas, a few nightshirts. Hadn't shopped there in a few years, and wow. When did VS stores become something you'd see in the red light district? Frederick's of Hollywood is now classier than VS. The hot pink neon/black...the mannequins in spread-eagle poses in their window displays....ick. Not liking the soft-core porn approach. I can get underwear elsewhere, so no big deal. Pure annoyance. Victoria Secret gets a big, fat 2 stars based soley on the fact that their customer service is beyond intrusive. Being asked 5 times for help picking bras, panties, or lingerie is slightly over the top - at least for me. I expected to be asked once, but not 15 times and by 5 different associates. I appreciate good customer service, but at this location, the sales associates are extremely pushy and constantly insist on measuring you or recommending various styles. Please see example below... Me: Wondering around the store, casually browsing... Girl 1: "Hi, what are you looking for today? Can I help you?" Me: "Umm, nothing particular - just looking. I'm fine, but thank you." Girl 1: Well, can I help by getting you measured? Me: "No, really. I'm okay, I'll let you know if I need help." Girl 1: "Well, have you heard about our new bra? It's great for a push-up! Would you like to try it?" Me: ((In attempting not to punch her in the face)) "Umm ((looking down at my busty self)) I don't really need a push-up. Again, I'll let you know if I need help!" And I pretty much run in the opposite direction. You can repeat this scenario at least 2 more times throughout a visit. Maybe I'm just the type of girl who will ask for help if she wants it. Or, maybe undergarments and sexy lingerie shopping is just too personal to have an imposing sidekick with you. Either way, having to say "no thank you" multiple times, is seriously annoying. Not to mention, can't you see that I clearly am not in need of a pushup bra?!? I prefer to not have my jugs all up in my face. I personally think the big-boob porn look just isn't for me. Classy, not trashy, yo! Victoria Secret is not big knocker friendly, unfortunately. You can find some styles in a D or DD, but most often, they're demi-cup. Oh yeah, that really work well. ((insert massive sarcasm)) Don't get me started about their PINK selection either. Sequins and fluorescent colors galore!! Yikes. I must be getting old. However, I will admit that I'm an owner of several "boyfriend fit" sweatpants. Super comfy! I love much of VS, but the customer service is just more than I can handle.((They really should focus their customer service at the checkout where lines are usually out the door.)) First of all, this place is a cluster f*** on a good day. Mix in the fact that it was a Sunday. Add one part Semi Annual Sale and you have yourself one heck of a headache. I can handle all that, but what I can't wrap my mind around is how you forget to put an item in the bag. Maybe because you are too busy trying to socialize with the girl on the register next to you in the middle of bra and panty chaos?! I didn't realize my bottle of perfume wasn't in the bag until I got home. Naturally, I called the number on my receipt. Guess what? It doesn't work, that isn't their correct number, not happening. After looking up the correct number on my phone, I called over and spoke with a girl about the incident. She asked what kind of perfume it was. I told her. She said she would ask the girls at the register if they forgot to bag a perfume. Good thing the girl at the register was honest, otherwise I might have been screwed. The best was this girl's attitude. "So, you coming back or what?" I said "Umm no it's a Sunday night, I'm not rushing all the way back there from Glendale Heights on your mistake. I'll come by after work tomorrow." Icing on the cake: "Ok, let me ask my manager if that's okay." EXCUSE ME? I paid for this perfume, as shown on the receipt. Tell your manager that I, the paying customer, said it's okay and that she better have one of two things ready for me when I walk in there today: My bottle of perfume with either a partial refund or gift card to compensate for gas I had to use to get back to this nut house -or- A full refund of the perfume and one heck of an apology. Some minimum wage brat with an attitude problem isn't going to tell me how it's going to be. After I run in there today I'm D-O-N-E with this location! read more

Had to give 3. As a guy, I know how that might look, but I'm not rating the suggestive merchandise (and displays), I'm rating the business; I need to be objective. That said, the renovations make the store seem like a night club now as opposed to a business; I may have enjoyed that atmosphere when I worked at the mall in high school, but as a customer and young adult, it's a little too much. Not to say I spend my evenings and weekends here (I'm only in the store when the freebie mailer is sent out) but for the period of time I'm in the store, I'm waiting patiently to leave. They've recently changed the look of VS. I was surprised that they've chosen to do this look at many of their locations. As a dude, I was offended at its face lift. I liked the pink, soft n sexy of old. Bins and drawers of panties and bra's.., shit I sound like a kid in a candy store. This new setup is raunchy. Save the raunch for the strip bars and the dark night life, I thought. When you're standing in the mall, bright ass lights everywhere and you look in and see this shit; I didn't find it at all appealing. I thought, this is too much for kids to walk by and see, its really too much for anyone. What is it really? Its Amsterdam, or the Amsterdam we see in movies, depicting red light district area's. Full of that naughty neon, almost a dark appearance, mannequins in risque poses. VS is not anything of what it used to be. I've been a Victoria's Secret shopper for a while now, but I think I'm done. I liked the classiness of how it looked before. It used to a have a nice, calming layout, but now there are no straight lines in this store, so walking around feels disjointed, which isn't helped by the loud music and garish colors and lighting. I get that their PINK line has been very popular and so they're probably catering to the younger, much more casual and trendy crowd, but they have a completely separate PINK store now, so why push that style on the rest of us who are just looking to shop for sensually stylish underwear without feeling like we're on a catwalk? Even the fitting room felt like I was in a circus tent. It also doesn't help that if the store is even remotely busy, it's impossible to get around without your path being constantly blocked, and the registers are kind of "squished" into the back corner, making it difficult to get out once you've made your purchase (especially if there is a line of people behind you). The last straw was when I went to try on a couple bras. My size changed wildly between styles. One style would fit fine, but that same size in another style wouldn't even fit a 14-year-old. The woman who was "helping" me kept disappearing, and finally I just grabbed another employee, who dumped a box of "sizing bras" in my stall. I found one that I thought fit okay, but it kept bowing in weird places and just didn't seem right. Instead of helping me find a comfortable bra, she (the original employee, who had finally come back) talked me into the one I obviously didn't like. I made the mistake of buying it on her recommendation, and it didn't even last 3 days before I gave up on it because it was just too uncomfortable. The quality also seemed very low, as well; it didn't even look like it would last the year. I may return to buy underwear again, but I think I'm going to try and find a different location, and I will never buy a bra at Victoria's Secret again. read more

I was initially unimpressed on a lunch break. So many customers and, more importantly, I couldn't find the bras or boy shorts I was looking for. I nearly gave up ( minus 1 star for it) but I went back yesterday at 5 pm. Not so crowded and I met a wonderful salesperson named Tammy. Usually the sales people at VS are too sales oriented but she was appropriate and wanting to help. Same thing goes for the woman in the dressing room in tandem with her. Some of these reviews seem a bit harsh. Let me offer an alternative perspective. If you, like me, are a total sucker for anything pink, obnoxiously girly, and/or sparkly, you have found Utopia in this store. Their collection of the PINK line easily trumps that of the Stratford, Oak Brook and Yorktown locations. Plus, if you're also a baseball fan like me (yeah Cubbies), you'll love their massive collection of girly gear for Cubs and Sox fans. Finally, sports tops that actually hug your curves and are made with - GASP - V-necks! Admittedly, I usually don't venture beyond the PINK section when I go to this location, so I can't speak for the "normal" lingerie and panty stock, or the beauty supplies. HOWEVER, if you go to one VS location for the semi-annual sale, GO HERE! They slash their prices on their massive bra collection, and it's fun to elbow other women while trying to dig through sale bins for that hot pink level 5 pushup bra you've been lusting after when it was full price. I stocked up on the fancy pushup bras last January, and they're a great investment. I'm even wearing one right now! read more

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! NEVER support this location. I ended up ordering bikinis online since they never seem to have a variety of styles/sizes in the store. Ireceived my order in a few days but the bikini bottom was too big. I went to this location to exchange the bikini for a different size. It took about 10 minutes until an associate walked by and I had to flag her down for help. She couldn't really tell me much about the different styles available and was VERY impersonal. Couldn't pay her to fake a smile. I also had a broken bra I wanted to exchange (This is about the 4th bra that has fallen apart within 2 months of purchase). I asked her where I could find this bra, she pointed and started to walk away. I had to ask her to walk me over to the bras. I then proceeded to the checkout line, where the cashier called over her (who I assume to be) manager about the defective bra. The manager told me I couldn't do an even exchange because the bra was from 2014 (mind you I just bought it 2 months ago). I expressed to her that I have been disappointed with the quality of bras as of lately and this wasn't the first time it happened. She became extremely defensive, interrogated me by askimg if I was measured at this location, why I wanted to same bra if it broke, and that SHE has never had any issues with her bras. I told her I didn't appreciate the attitude and she snapped back with "I don't have an attitude." At that point I asked for her name because I would be reaching out to corporate. She refused to give me her name and walked away. I then asked the cashier if she was the store manager and the cashier replied "No." I asked to speak with the store manager and the cashier said they weren't in and refused to give me anyone's information to contact other than a card with an 800 number. I have spent most of my time in the pink section due to their delightful underwear selection and their amazing PINK sweatpants. NO bunchy-bottoms, thankyouverymuch! I really like the Victoria's Secret in Woodfield mall. It's by far the best I've ever been to. They have a HUGE selection of PINK clothing (which I'm completely obsessed with) and a lot of regular "Victoria's Secret" lingerie and beauty items. The only downsides are the lines (which can be somewhat long depending on what day and time you go) and the sales people trying to jump all over you asking if you need help and trying to push products on you. It's worth it though, it's a great store and has the biggest selection of any VS I've seen. read more

The person at checkout returned mine without even checking they had available in my size or not. They do not have any short sizes available at the store. They were not willing to help at all. This VS rocks - I visit the store on a monthly basis (as does my boyfriend) and we always get attended to promptly.. the girls are helpful in finding whatever it is we are looking for, their sales on work out gear are awesome and their size & selection is fantastic. The stores division of the pink, perfume and womens selections is great.. the pink side is glittery and pink and sparkly while the womens side is more subtle with their pinks and reds. I've seen VS go from the classy look, to the trashy look (a few years ago) and I must say I like what it has turned into now.. read more

I walked into the store and there were no employees to be seen. I was casually browsing and I noticed the employees on the floor, all of them in the back, and not a single one offered assistance. They do have the item i was looking for so I went to go try it on. I walked into the fitting rooms and a girl popped up out of nowhere and said, "do you need a fitting room?" I tell her yes and saw there were plenty of doors open showing a ton of empty fitting rooms. She says, "Let me see if there are any available fitting rooms". Really??? When I was finished I came out of the fitting rooms which were really confusing. As I was trying to find an exit I ended up hitting a dead end and the girl goes, "can I help you?! with a dead serious look on her face. I say, "Yeah...where's the exit?" I finally made it out and it was difficult to figure out where the line was or where it ended. I got up to the counter and the girl asked me who helped me. I told her I didn't catch her name. She goes on to ask, "can you describe her for me?". I didnt realize that i had to ingrain details of the girls features into my brain so all i had for her was, "She was White". I was getting ready to pay and she goes, "Wait! Are you sure you don't want to get another one?!". I tell her I'm sure and she proceeds to push it on me for the next two minutes. My experience with Victoria's Secret has always been wonderful. Always exceeding my expectations with costumer service so friendly with the EXCEPTION of today. I did had the WORST costumer service everyone was so friendly and wonderful till I got to pay this cashier (sadly forgot to ask her name) just gave me the WORST costumer I have ever had in Victoria Secret. She was so RUDE and she was like almost yelling at me.. I do understand it's holiday season and you are busy but you should never treat costumers like that today I felt so DISAPPOINTED with this location because not only was I treated really BAD by this cashier but my mom too. The way she also fixed the things in the bag were just bad. Told her if I could write my email down and she told me no... I'm the costumer and this should not be happening. So DISAPPROVING. I work at Panera and I know how rude costumers can be or how busy it can get but you shouldn't take it out on costumers. I hope you do not hire more people like her because I will stop going to this location. I do hope you guys understand how ANGRY and DISAPPROVING this made me about this store.
