Came in at 8:30 and picked out a couple things, at the front they were saying the fitting rooms close in 15 mins so I walked to the back and asked for a room, and she said that the fitting rooms are closed. While that on its own is a horrible way to treat customers other remarks: when I walked in i tried to look through the clothing rack and the employee in the front was just talking with her coworker and didn't move at all so I could browse at the clothes, and when I walked around too the other side she was purposely putting stuff right above my head where I was trying to shop. The employees here are trash, the store in itself is trash and needs to be shut down!!! All the merchandise is on the ground, I got so frustrated in here and was not about to spend my money in this place. So I left my bag of items and walked out the store and will be going to another location tomorrow. read more

The store manager is very rude and mistreats her employees. I went into the store to shop and I overheard how the employee walked in to see their schedule, and her store manager exclaimed to her why she didn't shop and how she shouldn't walk in the store to take a picture of her schedule. I probably think it's a disparity of treatment, every time I go in there the employees are very kind, and cashier I do not think they deserve this treatment. read more

Customer Service from management the worst. Items are marked down, the entire collection btw. We go to pay and are told they were "marked down on accident" though no one went to get them off the rack to correct the situation and the manager refused to honor the markdown that clearly was their "clerical error." Worst customer service I've ever received and I've been shopping at VS for decades now. Employees were sweet. I wouldn't wanna work here though and I sure will certainly not shop here again. Normally I'd drive to the fox valley location. My last visit there didn't go as expected so I decided to go to this location. The manager who assisted me was much more knowledgeable in what would work for me. Still not happy with having to walk away empty handed as my size has to be ordered online. She said this was due to COVID and slowly they're getting more sizes in stock. I hope that's true. read more

One of the checkout girls here is so hot that I lost my grasp on reality and got suckered into signing up for one of their pesky little credit cards due to being so enamored by her. The service here was helpful and at the time of my visit, every employee looked like they were fresh off the runway. The store is well arranged and they have an ample amount of people at their registers so you won't ending up waiting in line too long, like you may at other VS. You'll be especially thankful for this after your first minute and 45 seconds in the store when you realize it's 37758457 billion degrees in here. read more

The lines at this place are ridiculous when you come on a weekend. I always feel like the staff around the store are friendlier than the forks working the register. I was checked out by a girl who asked me who helped me out, umm I gave you a card with the name of the person, but she was so busy talking to her neighbor that she didn't realize it. She gave me my total, I didn't 150 so I qualified for the free gift, a fleecy blanket, and her question was only pink or blue. I was like what? She's like, pink or blue. Rude! She was not friendly, she pretty much ignored me because her attention was all on her conversation, and there was no thank you or have a nice day. I waited forever in a weird line that was disorganized. It starts out as one and then kind of breaks up and they take whoever they see rather than the next person in line. Love going into VS to browse and see what looks good with their deals, but was greatly dissatisfied when i was basically interrogated by the woman coordinating the front door, there was no line before me but after a 5 minute, one sided conversation of the woman asking me what i'm looking for and if i wanted to be sized (which i was honestly uncomfortable with considering she asked about 6 times despite my request to skip that) then she went over her microphone to tell the other workers what i'm wearing, my bra size, ect. i felt like i was being tracked. Shh, don' t tell anyone but I'm actually a Frederick's girl. Sorry I don't have the VS hoody, bag and PINK written across my ass. But I do love their panties and not in a pervy way (unlike my dog who likes to go into the pink bag, take the new pairs out and roll on the floor with them. Hey, I don't judge.) Their style and cut are generous enough where my booty can fit very comfortably and not be stretched so tight where they've ceased to be underwear but a deadly slingshot. About four years ago, I came in and dealt with a rude associate that kinda turned me off on the place. Nothing worse than looking at product and having an associate say "that's not going to fit you" when you didn't ask for her opinion. I had a much better experience this time around. The staff was super nice and helpful. Definitely not overbearing like some places. I never felt hounded once. That's a plus for me. The prices are great and the store was organized and clean. Victoria's Secret is expensive, so I RARELY even tempt myself by walking into this store. However, every summer I like to treat myself to a new VS bathing suit off their website. The past two years I have gotten bandeau tops, but I've noticed that none of my bathing suit tops (or bras, for that matter) fit me how they use to. I ordered a push-up bandeau top this year and when it came in the mail I was PUMPED...until I tried it on and it didn't fit. I didn't feel like going through the grueling return process on my own, so I took the suit to the store. I HAD NO IDEA THEY CARRY SWIMSUITS IN THE STORE NOW! That would have saved me a lot of hassle. I explained my problem to the girls in the fitting room and one of the associates, Jenny, turned my hassle into a fun fashion show. First she measured me - I've been wearing the wrong size (go figure). Then she picked out multiple swimsuit mix-and-matches for me to try on and she gave honest opinions until we both liked what I had on. I brought my catalog swimsuit to the counter with the swimsuit Jenny helped pick out and the return process was so quick. I am so glad I came into the store instead of trying to handle the return process online - all the workers were super friendly and helpful. I actually had fun. If I was rich I'd come here all the time (HAH!). read more

When it comes to VS, I need to check myself before I wreck myself - and my credit score. Lately, I've been popping in here with free panty coupons. And I take someone like my husband so I don't start wandering and spending money. Sales associates are rather helpful when I ask, "where can I find this?" and show them the coupon. Every time I attempt to stalk down a free panty myself, I grab the wrong one. It's always busy in here, and there's always a line. But there's usually a few cashiers available, and someone can be tracked down if you need help. I get annoyed in the dressing room when trying on bras, because they want to measure you and stick a box of bras under your door. Um, no thanks, I'm 27 years old and I know my bra size. Can't wait for them to open up the double-size store in the old VS/Charlotte Russe space. Sometimes there are young girls crowding up the dressing rooms in the temporary store with no intention to buy. So I'm avoiding VS til the new one opens. read more

The only thing I like about this store is their sales. My best friend and I went in to this location and there was organization for the line. But we waited patiently in "line" that leads to the 3 registers opened. We saw girls obviously cut and we noticed that cashier noticed and she took her anyways. That same cashier took the people behind us even though she knew we've been waiting there for longer. We got annoyed and asked for the manager! Who seemed very fake with her customer service. She said "we apologize for that" and she smiled. She had an associate open a register for us who seemed annoyed we made it an oh so huge deal. I love to run while looking DECENT... unfortunately this is where I also pretend I'm rich. Even if you are not planning on purchasing anything, this is place to stop by to get an idea of what you would like to purchase (like make a wish list) and come back and actually purchase them. Plus...gift time for a friend? Get a cute makeup bag and just fill it up with items...you really can NEVER go wrong with that. Superb service! I went in to exchange some bras I bought online. Hailey helped me figure out my correct size (I've been wearing the wrong size for 10 years!) and brought me one of each style to try on to figure out what I liked. Then she handed me over to Wicktorya who helped me pick out pretty colors in the bras I chose. Buying bras is an investment, and they treated the purchase as such. I even bought some of their Bombshell perfume, which my boyfriend likes. Just a fantastic experience all around. read more

One word: RUDE. This stire employs the RUDEST employees, especially EVET. But, I can't fault her entirely as she is only following the example set by the older blonde store manager. Rotten. I went in to return an item that I had the online receipt for and the tags were still attached. Both of these individuals refused to make the return without an ID. Online returns do not require an ID. How do I know? Because when I left the store I called the customer service line who told me as much. They were appalled by the actions of these two individuals. So much so, that they refunded my item over the phone and told me to keep the item or mail it to them at my convenience, whichever I wanted to do! I will never shop this store again. Usually I try to avoid Victorias Secrets around the holidays due to the sheer amount of people. I had ordered two bras from online while they had a buy one get one half off. Both of them did not fit exactly how I liked so I knew I had to make a trip to the store. I appriciate that they offer free bra sizing and fittings. I was greeted warmly by Hailey in the fitting room. She brought me to an empty fitting room and we went over how the bras I was returning fit and she was able to tell exactly what size I was. She brought over a few bras for me to try and they fit perfectly! Once she knew the size, she brought about 7 or 8 other styles for me to try as well. I really liked the fit of one style so I bought two different colors. She even was so kind to walk me to the area which housed the style bra I was interested in purchasing so I wasnt walking aimlessly throughout the store. Thank you so much Hailey! The bras fit great. The line was about 10-15 people deep once I had my selections so that was a bummer having to wait but there were 6 cashiers working so I knew they were going as quick as they could. read more

Service in the dressing rooms was absolutely terrible. I was able to finish trying stuff on, get dressed, go find my own sizes, and finish with a second batch of sizes before the attendant realized I never got the initial 2 products I asked for in different sizes. Afterward, I heard her say "at least I tried" to another employee as I was walking out of the room. Shame this location sucks so much because I shop at VS regularly and live across the street. I love Victorias secret, and I love PINK. Last evening I attended the private shopping event at this location. Wow. Total insanity. Totally awesome. There was a dj and a raffle and people fighting over $$$ hoodies. How can I complain? I was part of the madness. The place was trashed, but they kept restocking. The line was to the back of the store and around but it moved at lighting speed, plus they had a line jester and people desensoring clothing. This is a long overdue review of Victoria's Secret. I was hired as seasonal employee from May 2017 thru September 2017. The first couple months I loved my job. I loved working with customers, and considered myself a great employee to my coworkers and my customers. The last month I was there I decided to turn in my two weeks notice. They hired a assistant manager from the Yorktown store who was rude to the employees and customers. I haven't shopped in this store since my last day as a employee. The store manager was on vacation more than she was in the store. So I decided to turn in my letter of resignation via email because this is the only way to communicate with the managers or not communicate. My last day of work I verbally reminded them that it was my last day. They didn't have a clue what I was talking about! Hopefully the corporate office reads all the Yelp reviews and puts an end to how they run their businesses. read more

I've been a Victoria Secret customer for 5 years and a VIP cardholder for over 2 years. Its one of the most beautiful stores I like to shop at. You can always find cute and adorable stuff here. I've been visiting a lot of Victoria Secret locations, but the last 2 visits at the Fox Valley Mall location has been very unpleasant. As a cardholder, I received a coupon for a free underwear. One time i went to this store to receive this, and when i presented this coupon, the employer didn't even want to talk to me. She just said "just put this in your purse." Just because this was a free item, I felt like i should have gotten a bag or something to put this in. Why do I need to put this in my purse??? I"m a customer!! Even she thought i had a small purse, she told me just to put it in there. First of all, I didn't think this was great customer service and it seemed like she just didn't care. Even though putting my free item in my purse wasn't a big deal, I felt like things could have been different and the visit could have been better. Next time, when i went to this location, it was a different employer, who didn't even greet me or ask me if i found everything i was looking for. She barely even looked at me when i was paying for my item. She didn't offer any promotion and when i asked her a question, she just said the item doesnt' start yet and left it at that. I know there store is in a temporary location while their main store is getting renovated, i still feel like i should be treated like a "customer." I would prefer to shop at the Woodfield mall location in Schaumburg. They provide much better customer service and are more friendly. This Victoria's Secret location is great. The staff is always extremely attentive and will bend over backwards to accommodate the customers. They will scour the whole store to find your item, race back and forth between fitting rooms, make helpful suggestions, etc. They never act inconvenienced when helping customers as salesclerks at other stores do. The store itself is always impeccable and well-organized even in busy times. It is beautifully decorated and brings a luxurious feel to the bra/panty shopping experience. The products I have purchased always seem to be high quality. I definitely do not mind paying a little bit more for such a wonderful shopping experience. read more
