A young gentlemen came out to greet me, apologized for the wait, and told me which bay was opening soon. Really appreciated being informed! Got the usual full high mileage service & price I get elsewhere; so that tells me I'm not getting jyped. I overheard a conversation of service recovery in the bay next to me. Staff was very courteous, helpful, and understanding when a difficult situation came about. Professional and non confrontational. Thorough check of all lights and tires. Boss man came over and checked to see if I was doing good AND came to help his team. As a leader myself, I like seeing managers in the thick of it. Staff were also helpful to each other and respectful. Great communication. Sam was a great tech! Entire service took about 10-15 mins; which I'm not complaining about. I'd rather have quality over quickness. But it was nice to have a bit of both! Highly recommend!

We are retired and meticulously maintain our vehicles. Oil changes and tire rotations every 5000…read moremiles. Have done this for the past 40 years and our vehicles hold up well. We have been going to Fast Lane Quick Lube for about the last 4 years and have had about 15 oil changes done by them. They are the only place that has done the oil changes on our vehicles. We only had one bad experience in the past- they did not replace oil drain cap. Luckily we noticed the drip while we were at the Speedway just across the street and went back and they put cap back in. They were apologetic. No harm, no foul. About a week ago, we went in to have and oil change done on a Saturday. They could not get the filter off and asked that we come back Monday and they would have a torque tool to help get the filter loose. No problem, we said. We came back Monday and with some elbow grease they were able to get the filter loose (they were the ones that over tightened the filter in the 1st place). We had the oil change done and were on our way. A couple days later there was an oil spot on the drive. I took the vehicle back in. They replaced the filter. We were on our way. Last night, I noticed oil on the drive again. This morning I went back in to Fast Lane. They looked at the filter and saw that there was oil leaking from it again. I asked the tech if this was common. He said no- that he does not see this as a regular problem. He then corrected himself and said, well maybe I have seen this sometimes because you have a cap that holds the filter in place. Sometimes there might be an issue with the cap holder that holds the filter in place. There could be something wrong with the filter holder. They replaced the filter and I left. I then called the Toyota dealer here in Canton and asked them if they had a filter cap holder in stock. He said yes, so I drove over and picked one up. I asked the Toyota man if this issue is common- he he had seen it when the cap is over tightened. I paid for the new cap and went back to Fast Lane. This is now my 5th trip in a week to have an oil change done correctly. I asked the tech to replace the cap with the new one I just purchased at the Toyota dealer. He said that he would now charge me for a new filter. I was incredulous, and told him that I was having to come back repeatedly because of his mistakes. I refused to pay for another filter and left. Mistakes happen. I've had a hundred oil changes done in my life and never had a filter over tightened. But I understand that stuff happens. In this case, the business was unwilling to fix their mistake without charging me. I am left with the the cost of a new filter cap, the cleanup job of the 4 oil stains on my driveway and the cost of having someone else replace the oil cap. Sometimes things happen. But when the business that caused the issue refuses to stand behind their work, that is a problem. Word to the wise, take your business elsewhere- these guys don't make good on their promise to give you what you paid for and if they make a mistake they'll charge you to fix an issue they caused in the 1st place.

Some they can do (and do much cheaper than other places) and some they can't. But they're always helpful and honest and kind. When answering they were very friendly and I got put on the phone with Al who was awesome! I asked if he had experience with Lexus models (the car I specifically wanted inspected was the 2005 Lexus LS 430) and he did, sharing his knowledge. He did a great job with all the details he went through giving an honest assessment of the potential issues which were mostly minimal. He went the extra mile answering all my questions and the price they gave was incredible value for $80. After coming several days later to Wixom to the purchase the car from the private seller, I reached out to Al and the team same day to see if they could squeeze me in for a quick once over before my long drive back to New York City and they did that same afternoon. This was extremely important because I was pressed on time and had to leave Michigan early the next morning. John one of the mechanics there greeted me and was super friendly showing great enthusiasm to looking at my new car.
