Granted it's one of the older shops in Woodbridge and it could definitely use some interior upgrades, Ann is amazing. She's sweet, patient and takes direction very well. Plus, she's great with making my eyebrows look like something. I've had several watches and a couple pairs of sunglasses fixed here (links, batteries, etc) and Tin is awesome with my things. While I've never used the other services offered, I know people that have had piercings and tattoos done there that are completely satisfied. Like I said, it's not much to look at but the service is decent most of the time. As with all shops, they get busy and can't realistically handle everyone but do give you the dreaded "just 5 minutes". Overall it's one of the better shops, in my opinion, in Woodbridge. Go see Ann. I don't use anyone else there so I don't know the quality of their work. read more

If I could give this place less stars, I would. I had been going here for about a year or so, when yesterday, I called at 9 AM to see if Tin would be available for 2 PM. I talked to Tin and he said he was and so at 2 PM, I walk in and see that he's working with someone else at the moment. I decide to wait a little, since he may almost be done. However, time goes by so at about 2:15 PM, I ask him how long he's gonna be since I had called in the morning to confirm that time and I had somewhere to be after my app. He barely answers me and I have to repeat myself at least 3 times before he even bothers to reply to me. He tells me that he doesn't take appointments. I told him I'd been coming here for a year, always by appointment because of my busy schedule. He still doesn't bother to even look up and says he takes whoever comes and doesn't take appointments at all since he's the owner. I'm just confused at this point because I've ONLY came to this salon by appointment. I go and sit down to figure out what I want to do and he comes up to me and says "if you want an appointment now, you can go elsewhere but if you want to see me, you have to come back." I just walked out because this whole experience was SO rude and disrespectful. It showed an immense lack of professionalism. But whatever, I guess that's what you can expect from a salon that's dirty as hell and smells like cigarette smoke. read more

This places is the WORST. They don't even know how to treat their long time clients and this has gotten FILTHY. Victor has lost his touch, and I would never ever ever go there again. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Try somewhere else. read more

The prices are misleading, it said 15$ for gel manicure(which I thought was too good to be true) so I went there and They charged me 15$ to use gel nail polish, 10$ to actually do the manicure which, and wanted to charge me 5$ for some random fee. read more

I have been going here for the past 3 months and I loved the service.... until today, I got a fill in manicure and a pedicure. I will never come back here again. The lady named Uy (Wi) did my pedicure and it was not good at all. She didn't even massage my legs and feet like they normally do. Also once she finished my pedicure she put the flip flops on my feet and I notice it had brown stuff on them. I asked what was it. She just looked at me, I then said are these used. She said yes..... I told her oh no that's not going to work for me. She the tries to put my shoes on my feet and I told her no. She says I can get you new pair. I told her ok. But my feet feel so itchy now.... I will never come back. Who told them it's ok to reuse the foam flip flops and the foam toe divider.... it's that against the rules and regulations of cosmetology.... and it's COVID going on and they charging an extra 20%..... read more

This was the worst experience my nail wi was beyond ignorant from when my friend and I walked through the door. He rolled his eyes at the thought of servicing us. He was extremely rough, he half did my polish change to the point I was forced to get pedicure because he was going to leave my feet horrendous. read more

Ghetto Chic in the simplest of terms. The people are sweet and try to make you feel at home. A little much going on in here though (nails,tattoo/piercings, jewelry repair) you forget what you came in for. It would be nice if the interior was all the same but it works for them. read more

I was in the area, and so based on the other review, decided to try this place and kill some time. All I can say is EW! This place is very strange, to say the least, its decor, if you want to call it that, is very dingey and dirty, it looks like it was once a sporting goods store because there's wallpaper with nature scenes, and there's a cigar shop next door so the place reeks! It is very much a hodge-podge, to say the least and was definitely NOT relaxing. I even had to ask the girl who was doing my nails to sterilize the tools, and she said they were, but they didn't look like they were. Although the girl who did my nails was sweet and did a good job, definitely won't be going back, I recommend the Potomac nail spa near the Wegmans or the River Falls Spa and salon... read more

I came here for a mani and pedi and was pleased with the attention to details provided. I was greeted my Tim as I walked in and Lili did my mani and pedi. The price is reasonable compared to others in the area. The shop is a little dated but the service provided made up for that. read more

So I'll give anyone a shot- even if it's not much to look at. Not only is this shop decorated in the refugee style-all the furniture is mismatched- not a one from this decade. I don't think I'm a snob, but when I go to a nail place I do expect to be able to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It has about 6-7 Televisions- all were off. I would hate to have a massage or facial here- no enclosed space- flimsy walls and a curtain for doors on each "room". You would be able to hear everything in the shop-not at all relaxing. . I asked them for new/ clean/sterilized equipment as the tech seemed to be reaching for dirty equipment. Another tech was using a blade on the soles of another client- against the law in Virginia. The pedi was just okay-the mani was so-so- they charge for "shaping the nail". Only two styles were free- I always wear my nails in an oval- they had lots of choices, but all inappropriate for daily wear. Maybe for Halloween I would opt for the "sword" style. The employees were very nice- the shop was not. That being said, it was only $35.00 for the mani/pedi. The owner even advertised that he will take your old jewelry and remake it. An odd combination to be sure-jeweler-nail salon. I don't think I will be going back. read more

Been here for the first time. It's been a week and I had gotten a French pedicure and a full set acrylic with gel color. My gel polish started chipping the next day, and I have 2 broken nails. I don't even know how that happened. I paid money for cheap acrylic powder I guess. I've never had my acrylics break just within a week ever. I don't think I would go back. read more

Some people have extremely high standards (I don't judge) but they are clean, polite & you will not be unhappy with the actual service itself. Only thing that I wouldn't give 5 stars are the tattoos ONLY bc of the price. Tin is wonderful & his shop is amazing. read more

Yes, it is definitely NOT a spa experience. But I've been going for years and consistently get excellent manicures and pedicures. For a great price... when all I'm looking for is to have my nails done, this is my go to. If I want a spa experience, with spa prices, I'll hit Red Door or the like. But this place is why I don't spend $$$ at the spa on my nails. I'll save that for a massage or facial. read more

I am from the Virginia Beach area and I go to school in the Northern Virginia area. I get my nails done at the same place every 2 weeks when I am home and I have been going to the same lady for years and she does a great job every time. It is $22 for a full set and $13 for a fill-in (no matter the size or shape). When moving to Fairfax I realized how ridiculous the prices are to get my nails done ($30-$35) and the quality of work is not nearly as good as what I am used to. I did research to find a nail salon that was reasonable with pricing and came across this nail salon in Woodbridge, VA. I went in for a simple fill-in with a gel top-coat and had the work experience ever. I understand alot of people have left alot of great reviews about this particular salon and that is why I chose it but I think their experience was specific to the "more talented" nail technicians. I went to a younger guy and he cut a good piece of my skin, all of my nails weren't the same shape, he took ridiculously long (I was only getting a fill-in) and missed the sides of my nails and near the cuticles with the nail polish. The owner was nice and did not charge me full price but I would never go again. Guess I need to stick to my regular lady whenever I am in my hometown :( read more
