We had a comfortable experience waiting in the lobby, enjoying complimentary beverages and snacks while the oil change was done efficiently. Chase was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He quickly gave me a quote on a repair needed for another vehicle. We get our oil changed here; the price was on the higher end of average, but we choose to return here and it is convenient. They offer coupons as well as cash point rewards toward future services. They will also explain if any maintenance or noticeable repairs are recommended in the near future without pressure. read more

I had great service over the phone but when I showed up to get my vehicle serviced, I was treated with less than stellar service! I told my aunt about my experience with the keys not being handed to me but instead the keys thrown onto the counter because apparently I warped back in time to 1965, passing through a sun down town. Just goes to show you that skin color does matter. All the cashiers spoke to and smiled at everyone but me which made me sad. Needless to say, skin color in 2025 does matter but the shop didn't hesitate to swipe my card for a $300 green bill! I do not recommend spending black money at this establishment! read more

Service Advisor James (Maplewood) is ALWAYS very polite, courteous, respectful, explains to me in easy to understand terms and never makes me feel at all intimidated. James went an extra mile yesterday....he knew I was NOT feeling well when I called in so he offered (and I accepted) to come get my vehicle and when vehicle was finished with repairs, he offered (I again accepted) delivered my vehicle to me. And, there was a part needed but unable to get so Chase (another service advisor) repaired the part and made it very usable plus saved me a good deal of money (Bless his heart). The work done to the car was good. The location of the shop and where they park the cars they're done working on is the issue. I had them service my car, when I picked it up they had to jumpstart to because the battery was dead. On top of that someone siphoned all the gas out of the car as well. Need more security to the parked cars awaiting pickup. read more

I received excellent service at the Ham Lake location after buying a car out there. Because of this, I knew I had to find the closest location to me. Although I live in Minneapolis, I go out of my way to come to this location because they go above and beyond and are worth the extra drive. They are very personable and I have no sense that they are ever trying to take advantage of me. In addition, they are fast, professional, and knowledgeable. I was especially helped by Jordan the manager. The lounge and bathroom is clean, they have complimentary snacks, drinks, killer Wi-Fi, and they even have toys for kids. These are not necessary but these little things make the experience of going to the mechanic more palatable. Overall, I am extremely impressed by this business and want to give credit where credit is due. I highly recommend them! *Update 8/17 Since moving to the Maplewood, Steve and the team have continued going above and beyond and I just met the new manager Mike S. I went to this place because a friend recommended them and they were rated high on Angies List. I had my brakes done. Best you can get they said. Less than 3 months later my rotors were warped and my pads squealing. I went back due to it being under warranty. The service person made me feel like an idiot for bringing it back. Said the rotors weren't bad and it's normal for squealing when you have good quality brakes. They replaced the rotor anyways. 3 months later and they are warped again. Shakes every time I brake at a high speed and still squeals all the time. I've had other mechanics tell me that this would happen if they weren't properly installed. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I initially went here to get my inspection to drive for Lyft. They seemed OK and so I had them fix my brakes. That went well and the price seemed reasonable. Then I had problems with my front end after I apparently ran over something. This damaged my tire and parts of the fender fell off. I tried to explain what happened and I wasn't listened to. They replaced the tire. I went to drive it and the car pulled. I called them and was told it might need allignment. Why didn't they check for this when they replaced the tire. Turned out I needed a passenger bar and joint, $900. Had that done ,within a week the part fell off. The towing guy saw a loose bolt. Victory said it was a bad part. They replaced it for free. Within a month the drivers side broke and I took my car to Bobby and Steve's. They fixed it quicker and for $200 LESS. With no 10% discount. I will not go back to this place as I don't believe they are knowledgeable. Bobby and Steve's do inspections for Lyft. read more

I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate honest folks in the auto repair industry, especially as a woman. I have never felt taken advantage of with the guys at Victory. I've always been treated with respect, and kindness. Today for example, I thought I needed a routine tuneup, but Mike M. checked the manufacturer's recommendation, and found out that I was way too soon for it. He also took the time to go over all of the recommended maintenance schedule for my Jeep, at no charge for his time. I took my car in for some rather extensive (Drive axle and wheel bearing replacement) on Saturday morning with no appointment but they (Jeff the owner) said he would try to get it done that day. They diagnosed the problem adn started on the work when I discovered that the funds to have the repair done were being held by my bank so I could not pick the car up that day. I stopped at the store to let them know and the only concern they had was if I had transportation so I was able to get around. Their concern for my well being was the first thing on their mind, not when I was going to pick up the car or even if I was going to be able to pay for the repair. That is GREAT customer service! Fast forward to today (Monday) I received a voice mail from Steve at 1:00 today telling me the car was done adn I could pick it up at my convenience, I had resolved the issue with the bank and stopped in to pick up my car. The problems I was experiencing were gone and the car was clean. The price was reasonable, the work done to expectation and on time. I will return for future work on both my car and truck with no reservations. They are friendly, reliable and seem to be strait shooters. The shop is clean and neat, the waiting area pleasant and they offer free WiFi while you wait. Without reservations I recommend Victory to anyone living in the area (Maplewood, North End of St. Paul and surrounding areas) to have auto work done. This is a great place to have work done. I was art the Ham Lake store today. These guys are awesome! I was looking at purchasing a car for my daughter from varsity auto, and i wanted to have it checked out. Victory offered a "Peace of Mind check" it was going to be less than $40. They lifted it up and could clearly see that it had major damage. And they saved me a lot of money! Praise God! I always recommend these guys! Kudos Victory Auto! Ive been to Maplewood, Brooklyn Park and Ham Lake and they are all great! Just so everyone knows how much I recommend this place, a couple years ago i had to have my transmission completely redone, these guys had a great price for a re-manufactured one and they let me use a loaner car at no charge for a week!
