She and another woman arrived right on time for my scheduled appointment. I had a few spots I let her know upfront that I would like to make sure were included in the deep clean, but for the most part, they quickly went about their work, and had my 2 BR/1 BA sparkling in about two hours. They asked me to look everything over before they left, and having paid for a deep clean, I LOOKED. They moved my furniture to sweep and mop underneath, cleaned my windows, baseboards, dusted the ceiling fan, did some sort of magic in my cat's food and litter area, got food spills out of my fridge, even washed my son's baby bottles in addition to all the regular cleaning. I can't find anything they missed or didn't do that I asked. They did everything but my laundry, but to be honest, if I had asked, they probably would have tossed a load in for me too. Now I can focus on decluttering and organizing since they saved me so much time on the dirty work! Thanks Eni!

However, after being robbed by one of the cleaners, I needed to share this review. In the past, I've generally been happy with the cleanings, though there have been minor issues here and there. The quality of the cleaning often depends on who Eni sends, as some cleaners are better than others. On occasion, I've had to point out areas that weren't up to par. I also had one incident where one of the cleaners left my home unlocked while I was on vacation and accidentally took my keys. The keys were returned to my lockbox the next day, but my home remained unlocked until I returned. Eni apologized, and we agreed not to have that cleaner return to my home. While she was kind, I couldn't risk that happening again. What prompted me to write this review, however, was a robbery. This past weekend was my birthday, and I had several birthday cards (one still sealed in an envelope) in a pile on my dining room buffet. When I returned home, I noticed the pile was missing. Normally, if there are papers in the house, the cleaners either clean around them or neatly stack them without moving them. I asked Eni to check with the cleaners (one of whom was new and had never cleaned my home before) to see where the cards had gone. I was told they were placed in a cabinet on the shelf--something they shouldn't have done in the first place. I checked, and sure enough they were where they said they were but the sealed card had been opened, the money was gone, and a card that previously contained a gift card was missing the gift card. I called Eni immediately and expressed how upset I was. She was very apologetic, told me she had fired the cleaner who took the money, and offered to send me the amount that was stolen (which she did through Venmo). However, after this experience, I felt that I could no longer trust her service. The fact that Eni doesn't seem to properly vet the people she hires makes it impossible for me to continue using her services. I can't risk having someone like that in my home again.

That said, I am so incredibly disappointed and --quite honestly-- appalled -- at both the "cleaning" and customer service that I received today that I wanted to write a review in the hopes that others will be discouraged from using Cida and instead choose to invest in a company that both values their experience and will deliver on their promises. Today was my third time using Cida so I had developed a certain trust for the employees and the company and chose to pay cash in advance and leave while they went about their work. If you chose to ignore anything else I say-- DO NOT MAKE THIS SAME MISTAKE. I live in a small one bedroom apartment and had asked (and paid) for a deep cleaning (150 including tip) which in the past has been relatively extensive and overall worth it. Today, however, I returned to find my baseboards untouched, my shower doors and shower not touched, my kitchen counters NOT TOUCHED, the area behind my couch not swept, my windowsills not touched, numerous surfaces not wiped down, hair on my floor? (its almost impossible to believe as I write it, I know) .. truly it looked as if they spent less than five minutes here. I immediately sent Cida a text and she was initially responsive, agreeing that it was "absolutely unacceptable" and offering to come back ...except--one problem-- only on her terms. I had to leave for work and could not be available for the times she offered and, as I continued to find areas that were completely ignored, I opted to ask for a refund. Cida not only refused to send me a refund (after looking at multiple pictures and using the exclamatory "WOW!" in response to what she saw) but also stopped responding when I continued to ask how we could possibly resolve this and if they could come at another time outside of today. Please, please, please, I urge you to look elsewhere before using this cleaning company and, if I could attach the pictures, I promise you wouldn't think twice before doing so. (oh wait, just realized I can.. and will do so in spite of being slightly embarrassed about the state of my apartment but it speaks volumes AND thats why I hired cleaners)

At first Cida's crew was fantastic and efficient, trustworthy, the best I could possibly ask for. Then I noticed things missing, some of my clothing items, and then watched a member of her staff walk out with 3 rolls of my paper towels (this staff member is the same size as me and approximately the same age as me, after I watched her walk out with some items I strongly suspect she had taken some of my clothing), 3 cans of comet went missing, and my own cleaning items that I purchased for my home for my use had been used. I also noticed that someone had been in my closet which I've never had a cleaning crew go inside my closet. I cannot prove what I didn't actually see happening but whatever. Another time when different members of her crew came to my home I found my thermostat on and the heat blowing like mad mid summer with my air-conditioners going!!!!! Wonderful, oil isn't a free commodity and is pricey! Although that team did do an outstanding job cleaning. This is ultimately when I decided to discontinue service with Cida, it's unfortunate because again they do a phenomenal and thorough cleaning job and Cida had been absolutely WONDERFUL to deal with, but I do not trust her staff in my home. I hate to write a negative review but I do not feel that I would be doing my due diligence if I did not update it.

They cleaned the inside and outside of the windows, deep cleaned the floors, the kitchen and the bathrooms. I texted Janaina that I was unhappy with the service which she responded very unprofessionally, calling my home "disgusting", quoting scripture mixed with nonsense and (in short) told me I'm the devil and I'm going to hell. Only giving her 2 starts because she refunded me most of my money but only after calling ME a scammer! Wasn't going to post a review but she kept sending such unnecessary and rude texts that I figured other potential customers should know who they'll be dealing with.
