I've been going to Garden Grove auto body for years, my dad I had an accident is 89 years old. Garden Grove autobody did not do the repairs properly, they said it was normal wear and tear. I cut them in three lines they said the door was only repaired not replaced. The door was replace they use the old rubber that was rotted. Now they are not taking care of the Problem so now I have to go back to State Farm and have them take care of it. Poor customer service, I will not be bringing my vehicles back to the shop ever again. If they take advantage of an 89-year-old customer, what do you think they're gonna do to you. read more

I am floored! Toan did an amazing job for my car. During the estimate before intake of my vehicle, the process was fast and he was very clear. I was shopping around a lot of body shops and he seemed the most trustworthy out of all of them. Without thinking about the price, since all quoted me around the same range, I went off my gut feeling and I just decided to go with Garden Grove Auto Body. Toan didn't seem to pressure the repair or anything. Later on, when I decided to check all of my quotes, I realized his was actually the cheapest by $300. For the repair, it looks spanking new! He was able to accommodate me last minute and get it done by the night before the scheduled date rather than the next morning. Upon pickup of my car, there was no wait and I examined my car, asked questions and he answered them courteously. We did 1 once-over together, and he noticed something with my car (I had a car modification previously by someone else and they left the wires sticking out), and took the time to fix it for me. On top of that I noticed some white marks on my side mirror right before I was leaving his shop, and he readily accommodated and scrubbed it clean. The car was washed, vacuumed, waxed, I was surprised and grateful at no extra charge. This place saved me a ton of money. My wife's 1999 Toyota was rear ended and needed a new trunk. The rear quarter was bent up a bit and the bumper was dented. Since the car is pretty old we didn't need to get it fixed up perfect. Just good enough so the trunk closed and didn't leak, with paint pretty close to the original. The insurance company estimated the repair cost at $2500 and sent us a check for $2000, with the deductible to come later once fault has been determined. I took the car to the usual places (Hi-Tech and Grove) and they both wanted to fix it back to new, at a cost of $3500. They would not just "fix it enough" as I wanted so I drove down Stanford looking for the auto body shops I had seen there. That's how I found Toan at Garden Grove. He listened to what I wanted, took a look at the car, and quoted me $1400. The insurance guy had told us where to find a used trunk for $200 less and Toan took me at my word and dropped the price down to $1100, cash out the door. He said there might be some damage still to the rear quarter and the bumper, but there was a good chance they would pop out. I said do it, and left the car there on a Tuesday. On Saturday Toan called and said the car was done. I went down and it was great! A small dent in the quarter was all that was left, and a small mark on the bumper. Even though we agreed that the paint would probably not match, it did! Perfectly. So now I have a fairly new looking 1999 Toyota, for a third of the price of the other guys, and can put some money in my pocket. I would recommend this shop to anybody, especially if you are paying cash for the repair. read more

Toan did a perfect job on my moms 2006 BLACK Camry. He used OEM parts (b/c I have AAA Insurance) and color matched the paint to a tee. I was very happy with his work and I am very detail orientated / picky. The Camry was black which is a tough color to color match and blend with the rest of the car. The car look better than it did before the accident. He was very professional and handled all the insurance work. He also finished the car before the date he estimated the car would be finished. I would recommend Toan with any body work because he know what he is doing and has a great reputation among car enthusiast. All in all I would give GG auto body 6 stars if possible. Toan graciously offered to simply drill a hole into it and screw the existing rear view mirror into the car door and only charge me a few dollars.
