Their pos machine wouldn't take my card which I've never had that happen before and I didn't have cash so I hade to go to QT to get cash with a charge $2.95 so I was not excited about that. Other than that the to go was fast which was great. Food tasted fresh! The owner was very nice. I'll definitely back!

Doesn't look fancy in or outside. But this place has a lot to offer! Very great service and fast! We ordered: Pho, it was 7/10. Broth wasn't beefy enough, but great selection of meat. Noodles were okay, I prefer a chewier consistency. Spring roll was delicious!! 9/10. Got the one with the pork meat and crispy wonton. It came with a warm dipping sauce that you don't often find here in Tulsa. Not your basic hoisin dipping sauce. Dessert was a jello type of dessert. Had lychee in there and it tasted like milk instead of coconut milk.

Amazing food and service with every visit. Hands down the best place to get pho or vermicelli salad noodle bowl in Tulsa/ Broken Arrow. For the best taste of pho, make it personal by adding lime, chili oil, hoisin sauce and sriracha to taste.

So, backstory. I used to come here when the old owner was still around. The food was great, fast and friendly, my go-to spot for lunch about 2-4 times a week. Since about 2013. Unfortunately, the owner passed and his daughters sold the place. It was sad but the new owners didn't change much but then....I got sick from eating there once (maybe 2017/18). Violently ill, puking, etc. It was the worst case of food poisoning I ever experienced. Vowed to never go back. Earlier this week, I was curious if this place was still open and looked it up. Saw it had raving great reviews, the owners remodeled, changed things, TAKE CARD NOW!!!! So, why not give it another shot? Overall, solid 3/5. Bumped to 4 for nostalgia. We entered, told to sit wherever. Takes them maybe 10 or so mins to finally take our order (kinda irritating but ok). I get the small beef pho and a shrimp/pork spring roll. They were both pretty good. Didn't have the original flavor i liked but everything was very tasty. Yes, I will go back again! Delicious food!!! And didn't get sick. I missed this place and I'm so glad they've improved over the years. Definitely check them out!

Updated: they now except credit card and had a total remodel. The place looks much better!

I'm a huge fan of asian cuisine so I've had my fair share of v-food and I must say, holy cow, this pho is amazing. Stopped in on whim and I love a good hole in the wall spot. Give it a try! You won't regret it. I wasn't in love with the mushroom fried rice, but it wasn't terrible. I'd probably go here for soup alone next time. Takeout seems to be the preferred way to eat here, but dine in isn't bad by any means. It's just to the point Vietnamese food and I loved it. Btw, ask for chili oil! It's HOT

I don't know about other dishes here but duck noodles is really good! Ask for a side of fried wonton (of course NOT the cheese one)!

Entrees from this restaurant are cheap and affordable. The pho broth was quite savory, a little toward the sugary sweeter end. The pho noodles were good, soft yet still retaining some texture. Combination pho only had like 3 different meats. The spring rolls at Pho Nhi were jumbo and meaty, one of my favorite spring rolls. Located in downtown Tulsa, Kai Vietnamese Cuisine offers customers authentic Vietnamese food with a modern atmosphere. The restaurant is the only Vietnamese restaurant that offers a bar serving alcohol. The Vietnamese pho at Kai was delicious. The broth was savory and aromatic. The pho vegetables plate was bountiful. My favorite aspect of the soup was the pho noodles, just soft enough to maintain that springy texture that's so difficult to achieve. The fresh spring rolls were also excellent. Kai does not shy from giving customers jumbo size spring rolls. I also love the hot tea served at this restaurant which uses dried tea leaves. If there's a criticism with Kai, it would be the lack of variety of meats in their combination pho which only had 3 different meats, far fewer than what's standard for this dish.

I've eaten the Vietnamese pho at this restaurant several times along with a few other entrees. The pho bowl of this restaurant is too small making it difficult to fit all the pho vegetables inside, especially when they fill the small bowl almost to the rim. The best feature of the pho was the meats which are my favorite of all the Vietnamese restaurants in Tulsa. The broth was okay, and pho noodles were soft without much texture. They always seemed to be out of fresh spring rolls, making me to doubt whether they even have them anymore. Service was very slow at Mekong River. On weekdays, there's usually only server available whether the restaurant is busy or not. One other thing I really like about Mekong River is the pre-brewed hot tea, giving the tea that mild bitter taste.
