Bad food no meat not fresh. Also lime and lemon moldy. So horrible.never come back..........

Charged $14 for "oodles of noodles" rather than lo mein. Refused to supply with eating utensils. Not coming back here again.

Trying all the different Pho Spots in South Jersey. This is our 4th one and it's our least favorite. We're comparing the Pho flavor to what we're used to in Philly. All of Philly Pho is delicious. Since moving to South Jersey we've been trying to find our Pho Spot and this is not it. We ordered the Pho Beef Special- nothing special about it. Had maybe 3 pieces of beef, 2 meatballs and a handful of bean sprouts. Broth was bland but we could taste the cinnamon. We also ordered the fresh shrimp spring rolls and it was less than mediocre. It had maybe 2 pieces of shrimp and no flavor. And The dipping sauce was watery. Lastly, the iced coffee was horrible. You can tell they use a powdered version and not the authentic drip coffee. We will not be going back,

Dinner on a Thursday night w/ my sisters. The place is small and has limited seating. The servers and host seemed to be younger and lacked attention to detail as well as customer service skills. I would like to state this was my first pho experience. I ordered the steamed gyoza which lacked flavor, they were slimy and I did not enjoy. I ordered the shrimp pho which was good; It was light and had an earthy taste. My friend ordered the vegan pho; they gave her spicy beef pho and then came back 10 mins later stating they gave her the wrong food :( Overall the service could be better, the pricing is reasonable and I would recommend doing take out.

I love learning new things! Today I learned what vermicelli is! Thin noodles. Mine were paired with grilled chicken. My daughter's, with beef and stuffed grape leafs. Everything was light and delicious. And PRETTY! Sweet server. We'll definitely be back!

Hidden gem in South Jersey! After almost 20 years of traveling near and far to get this Vietnamese specialty for our "noodle boy" son ... we're pretty particular about our pho. So, when he suggested that we try out this place in Deptford, NJ ... our expectations weren't too high, especially as we haven't had much luck previously as we got farther and farther away from our usual places in Philly. Got there as they opened at 11am on a Saturday and had our pick of tables ... which were all nicely distanced apart. As we studied our menus, we ordered some drinks. First, me with some iced Vietnamese coffee (cafe sua da) ... which I quickly switched to be the same as my son's iced milk tea (without boba/bubbles). It was a pretty good start! DS stuck to his usual ... a pho special with everything ($10.99) ... and I tried the Bun Bo Hue special ($10.99) as I wanted something spicy. All pho had choice of soup base (i.e., beef, chicken, vegetarian, or spicy) and choice of noodle (i.e., rice, egg, vermicelli) with only 1 size and where single meat options were all same price ($7.99). Bowls were a bit on the smaller side and had less noodles than in Philly. However, sizing was comparable to other places in Jersey, but the flavor was definitely better ... still not like Philly's (though probably healthier with less MSG). The highlight was my just-rightly spiced and slightly sweet-sour soup with slightly doughier rounded rice noodles vs. the usual flat rice pho noodles. Overall ... a very pleasant surprise that we'll likely return to when we have less time and can't make it into Philly!

This place is great. Lot of chains in the area get booked up but this place was nearly empty. Chicken Pho was cooked perfectly, not too tough not to soft. Appetizer's came out fast and delicious. I'd definitely go here again.

Someone needs to teach me how to do a solo DRAGON DANCE of HAPPINESS because at long last I have discovered a Vietnamese dining location that actually embodies freshness and yummyness with great service. And, it's close enough that I could get there every day too ... Ok, that going to one restaurant every day runs counter to my ongoing hunt for great places to eat but there are days ... there are truly days when as human being needs some really good PHO! PHO may be the culinary world's perfect in the bowl creation when prepared with care and love because of the mixture of slow cooking, which allows the broth to become enhanced with a range of delicate flavors, fresh quality meat (I am a CARNIVORE as noted in another review but there are non-meat options too.), and most importantly FRESH herbs. Add in quality noodles, the sustenance of almost every culture, and a few other items ... so perfect but one needs an establishment willing to invest their effort to please the dining public! I want bright, shining and clean at my PHO choices. Walking through the doors of this shopping plaza location the aroma of Pho struck home instantly and I hope I wasn't making audible sounds of pleasure but I was feeling happiness and anxious to get to the menu. Service was super outstanding ... they were interested in me, willing to help with questions and patient as I debated the choices. Steamed dumplings and PHO ... my goodness the PHO is ultra reasonably priced, which of course is a big plus for Dave!! In their simplicity dumplings offer diners a good opportunity to determine the quality of a kitchen. These chicken lemongrass dumplings were savored bite by bite by me. So good .... but then the BIG BOWL was delivered ... The steamy broth flavors reached my nose and I grabbed a spoon to go for the broth, which all by itself was delicious. The herbs were so fresh and good. The meat as it should be ... I imagined myself sitting in a bistro in Ho Chi Minh City ... a meal that was transforming. A meal that was satisfying ... I saw desserts delivered to another table and they looked oh so good but the dumplings plus the Pho had done me in. I am a happy boy ... DRAGON DANCING as I type and remembering that special meal! And, the bonus ... locally sourced produce!! A variety of specials ... yes, I will be back with a smile and going MMMMM MMMMMM well I will try to keep quiet as best I can but when you feel good ... don't you have to show it?

Beef Brisket Noodle Soup

Walked in in a rainy Saturday afternoon. Very friendly and attentive service. Ambience was low key at the time. Most tables were just solo diners like myself. A family of 3 walked in before I left. Lots of "door dash" orders. To start I had the spring rolls with beef vegetable. Served right outta the deep fryer and it was perfectly crisp! It was also so flavorful that I didn't want to wait for it to cool down. I then had the beef brisket in beef broth with rice noodles. It was also served hot and that is exactly how I like my soup. (Too many restaurants, even 5 star places, serve lukewarm soup). Broth was delicious on its own but I still decided to squeeze the lemon in after adding the other garnishes. It was also so good that I didn't need to add any hoisin nor the siracha and I'm usually such a condiment person! Added a few bean sprouts for some crunch. I wanted to finish the bowl because it was so good but I couldn't and had to bring left overs home. During lunch I had just iced water but I did bring a very yummy Taro flavored Bubble Tea to go. Will definitely be back?

The ambiance was really nice, when you walk in, you can clearly see that this is indeed a lounge and bar. The restaurant was quite empty, which is very fair considering that it probably gets busier during the night given that it's a lounge and bar too. I found the service to be amazing, for some context I'm normally a struggler with chopsticks, but I like to use them anyways and one of the servers came up to me and taught me how to properly use chopsticks which is something I've never seen before. That's why I found the service to be amazing and eventually I was offered a fork which was also quite nice. The food was also pretty good, I got the House Special Pho and unfortunately I do not have an image of the soup but I've had Pho at various places and they don't mess up Pho, this place was no exception. The broth was pretty nice and overall I found that to be solid. I would definitely come to this spot again, maybe during their night hours and with friends considering this seems like a night spot in my opinion. Check this place out if you want pretty good service and food!

She chose MamaMi Special Pho (with the combo of flanks, brisket, tendon, and meat ball. I was not good. The beef was sliced too think, the tendon was not fully cooked and felt like chewing rubber. The soup base was not rich in flavor just salty. Although my Banh mi plate was actually pretty good with all the ingredients cooked on a sizzling skillet when they served it. You wrap your own hoagie with the toasted baguette. I would not recommend this place for pho. Did not try their vermiculite, so no comment on that choice.

The three of us ordered a lot of different food and tried many things - it all came out fresh and hot. My steamed shrimp pho soup was extraordinary in flavor depth. I added a side of bok choi and broccoli. A side plate of sprouts, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime came with it. We also tried a variety of appetizers (see photos). Another stand out was the Vietnamese "hoagie" - what a nice surprise. For an Asian cuisine restaurant, the roll was amazing! The place is small and busy with take out so the door opened and closed a lot. It was a little chilly inside because of this. No big deal. The staff were friendly and the service adequate. We will be going back to see what else MamaMi has to offer - would recommend!

We ordered a variety of dishes to really get a feel for the menu: the Vietnamese crepes (bánh khot), fish sauce chicken wings, bánh mì, hu tieu nam vang, and the garlic noodles with filet mignon. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. The Vietnamese crepes were crispy and packed with flavor, the fish sauce wings were perfectly balanced -- savory, slightly sweet, and addictive. The bánh mì had that ideal crunch on the outside with fresh, flavorful fillings inside. The hu tieu nam vang was beautifully prepared and comforting. And the garlic noodles with filet mignon? Tender, perfectly cooked beef over rich, buttery, garlicky noodles -- easily a standout. Beyond the food, the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere felt inviting and welcoming -- the kind of place where you want to sit, eat, and stay awhile. What really impressed me was the value. The prices for the quality and portion sizes are outstanding. You can tell the chef takes pride in every plate and is truly holding it down for the Vietnamese community by serving food that feels both authentic and elevated. We'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend coming hungry and ordering a little bit of everything.
