overall 3.5 stars. they serve pandan tea which is an awesome plus, but otherwise the pho and bbq were a little plain which not much flavor depth

Phở áp chảo is interesting: it seems like multiple pieces of noodles are attached and then deep fry, outside is crunchy while inside is chewy. I like the texture but my teeth does get a bit tiered from chewing this toward the end, maybe cutting it to smaller pieces would be better. I don't like the sauce tho, it is a little too sour for this dish.

This Northern Vietnamese restaurant is such a gem. Everything we tried was delicious and well balanced. The flavors are on the lighter side, which I really enjoyed, nothing too heavy or overpowering, just clean and comforting. The crowd favorite for a reason is the special shredded chicken over sticky rice. It's so good and definitely a must-order. On top of that, the service is excellent and very attentive. If you like authentic Northern Vietnamese food with subtle, comforting flavors, this place is worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!

The menu here is extensive but we wanted Pho. I ordered the fresh bone-in chicken pho. It had decent flavor but was a little bland. The dip that came with it wasn't what I was used to. My husband ordered the Special Pho and he said that had very good flavor. He didn't even need to add fish sauce. My favorite items were the fried spring rolls and iced coffee (I give those 5 stars). Because we went during lunch, we received a complimentary lemonade, which was delicious! The service and ambiance were great.

obsessed with this place. The menu is extensive. Food is delicious, staff are attentive, and decor is just the right amount of cheesy/tacky complete with a looping video of Vietnamese food on one TV and looping video of new years celebrations around the world that makes a heart fond. Favorites: banh cuon thit Ha Noi (steamed rice pancake with grilled pork), cha gio (summer roll), Goi cuon thit nuong (summer roll with grilled pork), hu tieu xao chay (stir fried rice noodle with tofu and mixed vegetables), Bo Luc Lac (diced filet mignon sautéed with bell peppers and onion on sizzling plate), Com chien suon nuong (grilled pork chop with fried rice).

Friendly efficient staff. The food is pretty good. I can't support supporters of fascism though

    - Service: Fast, friendly, and attentive staff. - Ambiance: Cozy, clean, and nice restaurant. It just reminds me of a family-owned restaurant which they are! Having Vietnamese scenery photos hanging around makes me miss my country a lot. - Food: As a Vietnamese myself, this place serves a very signature and authentic North Vietnamese dishes that it's hard to find here in New Jersey. We tried a lot of dishes here but my favorite are Bun Cha, Xoi Xeo Goi Ga (Stick Rice with Chicken Salad), and Bun Dau Mam Tom. The fish sauce or shrimp paste sauce are all so good and go really well with their dishes. Everything came out fresh and delicious. Their portion is quite big too. I just really love this place. Wish it could be a bit closer to me so I can come there to eat more often. It's in a strip mall so plenty of parking space.

Soooo good. They add lemon to their water which I thought was a nice touch. Don't even need to ask for it. I loved their plates. The larger portions were served on plates that were blue with orange/brown accented edges and leaf shaped. I got the tofu Bah Mi. It was delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted. The sauce they throw on there was really good. Tofu was a little crisp. I love it that way. With my meal I got a Vietnamese coffee. Which at a lot of places is pretty sweet. This one was very flavorful and you could really taste the coffee. This is how it's done right in my opinion. Not the overpowering sweetness at other joints. My wife got a dish that was a spring roll and shrimp on top of noodles and vegetables. She didn't know what it was but the menu had photos. It was a wonderful choice. Really enjoyed this place. 10/10 would revisit.

The service was very fast and friendly! We shared the shrimp spring rolls which were excellent with the sauce and had grilled beef pho. Both were delicious and fresh.

It is very cozy and inviting and the workers are extremely nice, friendly, welcoming! The foods even look better in person. Definitely worth going to for a relaxing dine out.

Stopped here after a target run. New to the shopping center wasn't crowded. They were very friendly when we arrived and gave us time to browse the menu. We opted for spring rolls to start . We also ordered the soft noodle with beef which came with Bok choy , carrots , onions and broccoli. I did add some sriracha sauce for some heat otherwise good. The vermicelli came destructed with some fish sauce broth to add. Good portion size , food hot , service good. We didn't get Spring rolls until after meal was served but still enjoyed. They have large drink selection and bubble teas. Worth a try. All in 68.00 with gratuity.

We went twice in a week because it was that good!!! It's a new restaurant so be patient with the staff! I hope it stays consistently good! We had a few items: Nem (spring rolls) 4/5 Shrimp summer rolls 3/5 (nothing special) Mien ga 3/5 (nothing special) However... all their Hanoi dishes! Love them. My favorites are the bun cha Hanoi and the xoi xeo ga!!! Their smoothies are good too! We will update as we try more... definitely want to try their rice platters and vermicelli bowls next time!

My 2nd time here and I'm ashamed of myself that it took so long to come back. It was like eating here for the first time though. So, so good! Greeted by a rather large shrine (for a restaurant) ; The aesthetic of this place is thoughtful and classy with the artwork and decoration, Chandelier lights...and the thoughtfulness and quality of the chinaware they use. The food. Large portions, with amazing quality. Everything is a better version than most and common place Vietnamese places I've eaten in the area. Do yourself a favor and go. Worth the $$. Keep up the good work at Hanoi service was great and the chef came out, said hello and is very courteous :)

My favorite is the beef bone they give you with super tender meat. FYI for those not familiar : it's perfectly normal for your pho to come with raw beef in takeout orders. You will have to boil the broth and cook the meat. This is to keep it tender. If they precook it, the texture of eye of round beef will get tougher if not eaten immediately. Same deal for the noodles. If you want the best texture, ask them for raw noodles when you takeout. This way, it won't be already boiled and a bit more soggy during transport. Pro tip : cook your noodles and meat in a pot with just boiling water. This way, you're not using the broth to cook and mess up the taste and texture of the broth. Great service, very fast and efficient. Staff are all proficient in English. This might sound trivial, but they got large thick napkins. It adds to the experience. I hate those quick casual eateries that has the 1 ply napkins that rip as you pull it out of the box. When you know you've made it to their inner circle : They whip out the CAROUSEL OF CHILLIES. A caddy of 3-4 super hot peppers. Habaneros, jalapeños, Thai red chillies, etc. If they automatically bring it out for you, it possibly can mean : You look worldly and travel a lot to develop a taste for heat. They can sense your crayyy energy. Congrats !

The ambiance was really nice, when you walk in, you can clearly see that this is indeed a lounge and bar. The restaurant was quite empty, which is very fair considering that it probably gets busier during the night given that it's a lounge and bar too. I found the service to be amazing, for some context I'm normally a struggler with chopsticks, but I like to use them anyways and one of the servers came up to me and taught me how to properly use chopsticks which is something I've never seen before. That's why I found the service to be amazing and eventually I was offered a fork which was also quite nice. The food was also pretty good, I got the House Special Pho and unfortunately I do not have an image of the soup but I've had Pho at various places and they don't mess up Pho, this place was no exception. I would definitely come to this spot again, maybe during their night hours and with friends considering this seems like a night spot in my opinion. The crispy chicken feet was a huge hit. It had the perfect crisp and was spicy, salty, and sweet (personally, this is my holy trinity of flavors). I think this would be a great way to introduce chicken feet to people who haven't had it before. The beef salad was super refreshing, and I appreciated the copious amounts of beef and different vegetables, especially banana blossom. I've had chicken in this type of salad growing up but this tender beef is a game changer. Everything else was great but those were the highlights for me.
