Ate here twice recently after somehow not eating here after almost 9 years living in Missoula. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the two different soups I've tried - spicy lemongrass tofu noodle soup and the chicken curry noodle soup. Would absolutely eat both of those again. Good food but no sauce included for pick up meals. Ordered fried rice, potstickers (both delicious) but the sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken were delivered dry with no sauces. This is an update to my first review of Vietnam Noodle. We just had lunch there again yesterday, and I STILL LOVE IT!!!! Yes, the restaurant may not be the prettiest or most attractive inside. But it is clean, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive, so that in itself gives them 5 stars in my book! I highly recommend their wonton soup. I order it every time and the taste is always consistent and flavorful. They don't skimp on wontons which is a good thing, because they are so delicious! read more

Ordered a lunch special that included the imperial rolls and pork. The pork was dry and tasteless, the roll was super dry. Asked server for sauce, it helped to moisten but still very tasteless. I used to like this place but it was not very good and the service was just as bad. Try someplace else! read more

The soup was super tasty and perfect for a rainy afternoon. My boyfriend liked his Pad Thai a lot (I thought the sauce was a bit too thick but still good). Service was 12/10. Bun good, very small fresh vegetable serving, some lettuce, cilantro, scallions chopped up, and dressing was clear and sweet, rather than tangy with fish sauce. Chilly night while in Missoula for business called for a hot bowl of soup, which for me means Pho! Missoula has a couple of options to find my favorite bowl of soup and decided to try Vietnam house since it was closer to where I was coming from. Good menu to choose from. Maybe because it is Missoula and demand is not high, but Pho dac biet didn't have all the tendons and different meats I am used to. You had to pay extra for beef tripe. I still paid 11 bucks with tip for my bowl, which is decent but I missed the normal cuts of meat I am used to in the combination bowl I order. Overall all though the broth was good and anything is super good with Sriracha in it! not a mark against them but thought it was funny they brought my bowl with a fork in it versus giving me chopsticks! And I used to work in a Japanese restaurant that was well known in my home town The menus is large and has options for straight carnivores like me self, options fit strict vegans and everyone in between. The service is also spectacular!!! Service varies from quality of restaurant, staff, region ext. but this place has always been humble, out going, responsive, and hands down amazing. I definitely recommend the Chicken Curry. It was the most flavorful dish I've ever eaten. I don't want to go back to eating the food I was before trying this restaurant. Sign on door says no seating 15 minutes before. Well that's fine. I came 20 minutes before and I knew what I wanted. Hostess was prepared to seat me but the owner who was cleaning off tables yelled across the restaurant "No! Only to go!" I understand. But I'm also traveling through town, and drove all the way in to patron your restaurant, and all well within the time frame they had posted on the door. First time I have eaten here. Clean, quiet atmosphere. Fish tank was well maintained and crystal clear. There is a tiny convienient store at the front. I ordered 'L10' (a chicken dish). If it's a cold day and you want some soup, get the #32, you're welcome. If you imbibed a bit too much the night before, the #26 is easygoing, delicious and will get you moving again. The Bahn mi's are also great, as is the lemongrass beef and the imperial rolls with the oil. Huge portions of pho in house (when it's back up) and to-go. The to-go pho will stay hot even if you gotta cross state lines to get home. read more

I always get the #29 (pho ga) and my husband always gets the spicy beef (#32). Both are always delicious. With the whole covid thing we got it to go and got large portions just like in the restaurant. It was still hot and delicious when we got home. My two girls are very picky toddlers so we tried the pork fried rice to share. It was a huge portion & it tastes amazing, I don't know why we didn't try it earlier. Got a bowl of pho and a combination plate of orange chicken, pad thai, and fried rice. Probably our fault for ordering the plate of non-vietnamese food but everything on the plate was mediocre. The Pad Thai was left almost untouched when we left. The pho was decent so you're probably safe ordering that. Id recommend they remove the other items if thats not a strength for them. read more
