I honestly felt like Dr. Jones listened to me. I didn't feel like I was just another patient to write some prescriptions to and move along. She is everything a primary care physician should be in that you should be able to talk to your doctor about your on-going health, not just when you get a cold, flu, or rash. These doctors are hard to find these days thanks to the awfulness of our healthcare system in general in churning out patients. It would seriously be worth a plane ticket once or twice a year just to see someone you trust with your well-being.

I actually don't like going to the doctors because I feel most of the time that my time is wasted and I feel like an inconvenience. However, I found this office and made an appointment. The entire process from start to finish was unbelievably easy and pleasant. When I called to make the appointment, I assumed I would have to schedule the appointment for a month or two in advance since I would be a "new patient" (like my previous office made me do). Nope! The lady on the phone scheduled me for an appointment right away. So easy I couldn't believe it! I go in for my appointment, the atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I checked in, filled in all my paperwork on the computers they provide and was called back within minutes. My doctor was Dr. Brayboy. I just want to say he is and will my doctor for a very long time!! He actually listens to what I am saying, explains things in detail, takes his time, very knowledgeable and I genuinely felt that he cared about my well-being. I can't say that I've ever experienced this before and I can't explain how happy and relieved to know that there are still great doctors out there. What I thought was also nice about this office is that they have a pharmacy literally in the waiting room, so when I finished up, Dr. Brayboy sent over the prescription and it was ready within 10 minutes. Also, they didn't have a prescription that I needed but got it in the next day- they will deliver it to me! Overall, I loved the atmosphere, the staff, the doctor, the pharmacy onsite, the process from start to finish! I HIGHLY recommend this office!!!!!

The doctors and PAs aren't the problem--they're professional and capable. It's the system they operate within. It's profit-driven, demands unnecessary follow-ups, uses platforms that constantly malfunction, and if you find a doctor you like, don't get attached. They leave. Here's what pushed me over the edge: I submitted a prescription refill request a week ago, a few days before I ran out. I've sent multiple messages and left voicemails. When I finally reached someone today, I got attitude and zero accountability. My provider had been out for over a week with no coverage plan. Nobody was monitoring her messages or prescription requests. No one communicated this. My voicemails went unreturned. When I called to ask what was happening, I was told: "I'm not responsible for anyone else. It's not my problem." That's Avance Care in a nutshell.

Also asked for a lab test for a bladder infection which did come up to be a bladder infection but because that's not the reason I came in for the visit he didn't prescribe any medication for my bladder infection that I had to go somewhere else . And it's his attitude and it's been coming sometime I am switching Primary Care today and everybody has different issues so I'm just saying what service I got . ​

I love her personality - so supportive, cheerful, full of energy and engaged. She reads your records before she comes in and is empathetic while being efficient in ensuring you receive optimal care in the time allotted for your appointment. I love that A she still coordinates after the appointment with her staff if needed. And is very prompt on patient portal messaging. I highly recommend her and the practice - it's efficient, runs on time and the whole team is engaged.

She is knowledgable about nutrition, which I greatly appreciate, and emphasizes self-care as an important part of preventative care plans. Dr. Forbes always takes the time to answer any questions I have about my care and the one time I needed a sick visit on short notice, getting one was no problem. She's got a no-nonsense bedside manner. I personally appreciate this, but not everyone will. Overall I would recommend Dr. Forbes as a primary care physician.

The patient portal was changed a few years ago to something much less usable than the prior portal and now, medical records must be requested from an outside company that takes at least a week to provide records (if they are even provided then, friends have had difficulty with the company insisting records were sent when they were not, and the company has abysmal reviews online) that has no ability to track status of a request, and that doesn't have a phone number on its website (wake told me their was a number there, they couldn't find it either, then gave directions to go through a series of clicks on their own website to get the number, and then finally gave me the number). Had the portal not changed, I would have been able to easily download what I needed. Instead Wake made the decision to go to this new system and I cannot even walk into the office and get records - if I walk in and make a request, I'll have to fill out a form that goes to a third party company to get the records. I was looking at establishing care in Raleigh again but I won't be returning. The providers were good but apparently admin does not care how difficult they make the process of managing the non clinical side of being a patient.

The second was for my new patient physical. She is by far the most comprehensive doctor I have ever seen! She took the time to review my entire medical history, address any/all concerns I had, AND was genuinely interested in who I was as a person. Seriously, when do you ever get that from a doctor??? On top of that, she followed up with me after hours on several issues and took the time to find my prescriptions at the lowest cost possible. Really??? No doctor ever does that. Dr. Inaam J. Schneider does. If you are concerned about ObamaCare and the changes coming or if you are like us and just couldn't afford the new Marketplace pricing, go to Dr. Schneider. I am now convinced the DPC model is the way to go!

Maria (Dr. Schneider's staff) was helpful and cheerful from the moment I walked in and Dr. Schnieder spent more than an hour and half with me, listening and responding to my medical history. Dr. Inaam is knowledgeable, yet humble. In my experience, humility is a rarity in the medical community. Here's how I know this about her: It's really difficult to draw my blood. My veins are small and deep, and I can't tell you how many times I've left a blood draw and had bruises on the insides of both elbows for days. When Dr. Inaam and Maria didn't immediately find a good vein, they didn't poke and poke. They didn't even poke once! They gave me two bottle of water to drink to see whether hydration would help. When it didn't, they sent me to LabCorp where someone who draws blood all day every day quickly tapped a vein and got the blood necessary for my tests. There were many good things about my visit, but that was the thing that sealed the deal and made me sure Dr. Inaam is the right doctor for me.
