Staff is friendly and helpful, they have the best customer service ! They stand behind everything they sell. What a nice surprise on Sunday when my husband and I were offered a full size cup of coffee from sales representative Michelle from a company named Nespresso. Lovely Michelle was demonstrating the Nespresso Machine that brews espresso and coffee from capules or pods. All Nespresso premium coffee is roasted, ground and encapsulated in one of 3 factories in Switzerland. We appreciated the education and delicious cups of coffee. Michelle's presentation was easy to understand and now we are considering purchasing the machine since my present Keurig machine is aging. I'm so glad this store is within 15 minutes from my home. There are many departments to shop in, including health and beauty. Also many options online and a wedding registry. I will mention again: even though the coupons have an expiration date, ignore this, they NEVER expire.

I love walking through this store. They also carry one of my favorite peppermint soaps. If you're still looking for a gift for someone they have cute slippers on sale that were $10 now $4.99 so cute for men & women and they're going fast. Hannakah gifts on sale also. Prices I think are moderate and there's always someone to help you when you can't find something. I definitely like that customer service. Ample. Cash registers open so no lines Yay!! I was able to run in get my bathroom items and they were on sale, no lines, that's a win, win because I had yet to go to Aldi's a couple of doors down. 4 stars because some shelves needed to be restocked with more choices in the bathroom aisle.

I am extremely disappointed with the delivery service I received on the morning of 3/18/26. Both my…read morewasher and dryer were scratched in multiple places during delivery, and my basement stairs sustained a significant wood chip. When I was documenting the damage, the delivery person made a dismissive comment about the front door being easier to use. I clarified that he never asked to use the front door, but he insisted otherwise, which was untrue. Most of the damage occurred while maneuvering the appliances down the basement stairs. Additionally, during installation, the washer hose snapped and caused water to spray everywhere. The delivery person simply taped the hose instead of properly fixing it. At the end of the delivery, he asked me to sign on his phone, but I refused due to my dissatisfaction. Later, I received an email with a forged signature and a statement refusing responsibility for any damage claims made after signing, which I never agreed to. I contacted the store and was only offered a $200 refund or a replacement, with no extension of the warranty despite my concerns about the damage. I also expressed my discomfort with having their delivery team return, so I accepted the refund to avoid further damage. They provided a contact number for the house damage claim, but I remain unsatisfied with this resolution. To make matters worse, the delivery person called me on his personal phone after I filed my claim, asking why I reported the incident to the store. I explained all of the damage and how he forged my signature and all he said was, "Yeah..". Now I'm being harassed on top everything. This is outrageous!

Rating: So why does a Brooklyn guy buy appliances in…read moreSmithtown? If you live in a Brooklyn brownstone, you know the "appliance dilemma." Replacing a 12-year-old washer and dryer isn't just a purchase; it's a logistical nightmare involving tight custom spaces and several flights of stairs in a walk-up. I turned to Vito Jr. at Smithtown Appliance, and the experience was flawless. Because of the specific dimensions of our laundry area, we needed surgical precision. Vito coordinated the entire project perfectly. He "had a guy" for every step of the process. A huge shoutout goes to Sam and the installation team. They arrived early to disconnect the old units and returned immediately after the delivery crew finished the heavy lifting--navigating those brownstone stairs with the old units out and the new ones in without a hitch. Sam's team then finished the installation with expert care, ensuring everything fit the custom space perfectly. In a city where delivery stories usually involve a lot of stress and "curbside only" excuses, Smithtown Appliance delivered a masterclass in service and coordination. If you want the job done right--especially in a challenging space--this is the place to go.

Absolutely the WORST customer service! I have bought numerous appliances from Smithtown Appliance…read more over the years and have found the service to continue to significantly decline particularly in the past 5 years. I used them one last time, hoping they perhaps would have improved as I know they have gotten many poor reviews. NOPE, what I found was the staff were rude, unprofessional, actually lied about intention to help me and completely not helpful. I had a dryer delivered 2 weeks ago. I was not home during the delivery. When I got home I noted significant dirt tracked in by the delivery men, dirt marks all over my expensive carpeting that would have to be professionally cleaned. I also noticed where the men literally dragged the very heavy machine up the carpeted stairway, leaving drag marks at the edge of each step. I immediately called the store and spoke with MARK. I explained the situation and Mark assured me that he would have the delivery company that they contract with call me the next day and they would take care of any damaged cause. Several days went by and I heard nothing. I subsequently called MARK 4 SEPARATE TIMES leaving a detailed message each time, with no call back. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Bottom line, look at the numerous poor reviews on Smithtown Appliance, they are true!!! Do not use this company if you expect good, reliable, professional service. Go elsewhere for your appliance needs.

My husband and I highly recommend the German Kitchen Center in Queens for your kitchen renovation…read more The staff is very knowledgeable, talented and responsive, engendering confidence in their abilities. Our main contacts were Wafaa and Valentina, but we also talked with Elizabeth, Aura and Roei at times. All work seamlessly together to ensure you have the kitchen design you want. They are all very personable, have a 'can do' attitude and are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. They were patient with our never-ending concerns and questions and we felt completely at ease dealing with them...so much so, we enjoyed our visits to the showroom. The only reason this is not a "5" rating is we found ourselves very involved in all aspects making sure the many details were coordinated and went as smoothly as possible. Despite that, as with most renovations, there is always the unexpected that can't be controlled (e.g. stove gas pipe in the way, heat riser pipe hidden behind the old pantry, sink that barely fit, but finally did, etc.). The staff went above and beyond and were very quick to do everything they could to help resolve these situations. This did result in some delays coordinating with the various contractors, but we all worked together as a team and it all came out amazing! We love our new kitchen and having finished just before the COVID shutdown in NY, we've gotten to know it intimately quickly!

The service at German Kitchen Center is amazing. The quality is great. We came in several times to…read morediscuss with Wafaa (one of the designers there) what we were looking for and to see some of the colors and pieces in person. Wafaa is super responsive on email and the design she created was exactly what we had in mind. The only reason this review lost a star was the execution through their organization with contractors. German Kitchen Center gets their material from germany but the contractor that delivers the pieces, the contractor that installs the kitchen, the contractor that installs the countertop (assuming you buy the countertop from german kitchen center's vendor) are all not from the German Kitchen Center company. As a result, there were multiple delays due to the coordination of these contractors. In addition, you have to handle your own contractor who is the one installing the sinks and appliances and anything else you want in your kitchen (German kitchen center only supplies the cabinetry and cabinetry installation, your contractor has to do everything else) While German Kitchen Center has a liaison to coordinate with that, my experience is that either the contractors are not holding up their end of the schedule or there was a mix up in the scheduled time. A final point is that you have to absolutely make sure that your appliances won't block any potential areas you want to place outlets and likewise, the design provided from German Kitchen Center takes into account the size of the backsplash and tiny details such as how your faucet operates (minute details that are easy to miss) as the handle of your faucet may run against the backsplash if you don't account for the thickness of the backsplash. Overall, I was very satisfied with the end product, and customer service of German Kitchen Center at this location, but was not satisfied with the execution and had to micromanage a lot of the coordination and communication as there were multiple delays to getting our kitchen finished. I'm glad that the contractors always checked in with German Kitchen Center though and one of the contractors (I think his name was consalo) had a good idea to fix the weird gap in the island design to make it flush. The owner, Roei, even directly stepped in when there was an immediate issue at hand and Wafaa (our kitchen designer) was extremely responsive the entire time (even at times when she was celebrating personal events!)
