I love this place. I try to use the same person every time I go, but all the estheticians I've had are fabulous. While pregnant they make sure to not use anything potentially harmful. They diagnose my skin and recommend the appropriate treatments. The face doesn't look great right after extractions and everything, but give it a few days and your skin will glow. read more

The ladies that run this place are fantastic! I received a deep facial cleanse. There is a difference in my skin after going there. As I'm sure many people can relate, a Brazilian could be a frightening and potentially traumatizing experience. So to say that I enjoy coming to Viktoria Skin Care to get one is saying a lot! I've been coming here for more than a year, and have always had a great experience. I have been helped many times by Golnara who is a extremely fast and I love chatting with, which serves as a welcome distraction! She has also waxed my eyebrows and got me to try eyebrow tinting, which despite my hesitation, looked fantastic just as she promised. I've also seen Ulyana, who too is extremely professional, quick, and seamless. I had my second Brazilian done today via Groupon. Kseniya was extremely pleasant and accommodating (I made an appointment only 2 days in advance). She uses two types of wax here: hard and creamy (not soft). I actually had a conversation with her about how soft wax and honey wax can sometimes cause ingrowns because of skin adhesion. Since my last Brazilian was only 4 weeks ago, this was much less painful because the hair hasn't grown much. The hard wax definitely is the best because I basically couldn't feel any pain. She was also wonderful in cleaning up with oil to prevent stickiness. I am taking off a star because, to my surprise, I had quite a few strays that I had to take a mirror and pluck when I got home. Understandably, some were very thin and hard to see and some were also very short but there were still more than just a few that were definitely not long enough. Overall, I would recommend going to Kseniya for first-timers or even experienced waxees, but I would definitely make sure it is an appropriate length so that the result is 100%. P.S. If it is your first time going, go inside the nail salon to the left and let the receptionist know. She will direct you to go downstairs where Viktoria Skin Care is. read more

Went in for a Brazilian wax. Very good service. The staff used gloves and disposable wooden sticks, which means very hygienic and definitely no double dipping. Parking is easy. The staff working there are all very friendly. I love this place and will consider coming again. read more

I had a great experience getting a Brazilian wax from Golnara a few months back. It was my first Brazilian, and I was definitely a little nervous for my appointment. Golnara was quick and professional, and kept me at ease during the process. As I said, this was my first Brazilian, but I will say I can't imagine getting a better final result. I went here in may because of the good reviews and my experience was great. The place was clean and comfy and she used two types of wax to make my Brazilian less painful but very thorough. I was shocked at how easy the Brazilian was. I get them monthly but this was definitely the easiest Brazilian I've gotten. I purchase a Brazilian Wax on Groupon. At first I was not able to book the appointment at the time I wanted.So I called in to see if they had the time I wanted. Ksenyia took the time to call me and give me the time I wanted. Which was nice since I was going on vacation the next day. Everything that was done was explained and why it was done that way since it was the first time I had gotten a wax. I was the first one there and it took no longer than 15 minutes. I don't know how this place has such a high rating! Maybe I had a bad experience because I had a groupon?! I had a Brazilian with Ksenyia. She was rude, abrasive and did a horrible job. It is two weeks later and I need another wax! This is not my first wax and I usually can go 4-5 weeks before needed a wax again. It was a horrible experience. She did an awful job and I will never go there again. I usually go to smuveskincare, and that is where I will go again, she is kind, gentle and takes the time to do a great job! Got a wax yesterday and for the 1st time ever, I survived the whole thing without crying and/or screaming LOL Truly, a cute salon, the staff was friendly and the "hard wax" they used on my skin was much more gentle and less painful than standard waxes and strips. I bought a 3 package Groupon for a Brazilian wax here and my first time experience was great; the girl (I wish I can remember her name) was gentle, quick and thorough and also sweet. I really, really wanted to come back a become a "regular customer" until I felt a slight discomfort on my 2nd visit for providing a 2nd voucher upon checkout. It was assumed I only had 2 Groupon vouchers to use when I had purchased the package of 3. I booked a 3rd appointment but had to cancel (before their 24hr cancellation policy window). I was ready to rebook another appointment today and realized they had redeemed my 3rd Groupon the same day they redeemed my 2nd Groupon during my 2nd appointment. I was pretty upset knowing the fact that they had already given me funny looks for being a Groupon customer with a package of 3 and almost seemed as if it was purposely done. This review is about a service I received nearly a month ago. I had a terrible experience. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they were nice and my hair was very grown out & course since it was my first time not shaving for a while. I went in for a Brazilian. I was originally booked with viktoria but when I got there they switched me because the appointment before mine cancelled. No one asked me if that was okay or not. But I didn't make a fuss. I should have, because they gave me the new girl! Idk if it was her first day or what (she claimed shed been there for a month) but She did not know what she was doing. Very slow and seemed nervous & unsure. It took her nearly an hour to finish and it was awkward & painful. She didn't seem confident in what she was doing and it made me extremely nervous. She had to leave the room to get materials that i think should've been in there already. Then she kept switching back & forth between soft & hard wax before settling on hard wax. She was not neat at all & there was wax EVERYWHERE when she was done. Because she took so long someone had to come in & tell her that her next appointment was there. Lastly, there was still a bit of hair left that she couldn't get out & didn't have time pluck because of the next appointment. I know new people have to learn butI just wished that they had given me a heads up & option to say no. Because the original person I book an appointment for have great reviews on here. I highly recommend this place for your waxing needs! Last year, I'd never had a brazilian done because I was scared from hearing my friends horror stories at other places. But, I decided to give it a try at Viktoria Skin Care and Kseniya instantly put me at ease and was extremely nice and pleasant. Although it's obviously not fun to get waxed, in comparison to my friends, I can honestly say it was a "best case" experience- both during the wax and the post-wax recovery (which was MUCH less than I expected vs my friends.) I've continued to go back about once a month and it's been quick and easy! I appreciate Kseniya's care in explaining the process and checking in to make sure the temp is OK, etc. She also provides a great price for the service vs many other salons with higher prices but less talented professionals.
