We went in for a couples massage and it got the job done. The rooms are definitely relaxing and the warm tables are a bonus. I will say part of the relaxing atmosphere was dampened by other employees walking around in loud shoes in the hallway multiple times during our hour massage. There was also very little regard of the employees talking quietly in the area of our massage room so we weren't able to enjoy a quiet couples massage. I'm a mom of two and it's rare I get out with my husband and sometimes the quiet is nice. I was also thrown off when we scheduled our massage at 11 and 30 minutes beforehand, they called to ask if we could come in a later time due to other clients not arriving on time. They told me that if I still came at 11, I'd have to sit and wait until 11:30 for my appointment, even if I said no to a later time. Once I explained that I had a sitter for Mother's Day and paying by the hour, they said okay and took us right on time. Overall, we'll most likely return but only if we can't find another place in the general area that we like. I think it would definitely benefit future clients if the other employees are more mindful of how loud they are, as well as their shoes, to ensure clients have the most relaxing massage possible. read more

I really missed this place when they were closed! I had gone once before the covid shut down, and tried a few other massage places in Oceanside during that time...I just didn't like the other places around, they weren't as personable and their customer service wasn't too great. Reviews on this place must have been faked or bought. Worst massage ever, Cocoa has no idea of what she is doing, certainly not a certified massage therapist. Only applied excessive pressure for the first 10 minutes , then proceeded to make moves reminiscent of a massage but at a very fast tempo and without any direction to actual muscle groups normally targeted by an LMT. Seemed like a beginner student who knows nothing of anatomy. Stones were too hot, table was not professional massage table as my neck was uncomfortable on this flat non-adjustable head support. Probably one of the best massages I have ever had! I went in after pulling a muscle in my lower back and I walked out feeling brand new. They were able to take me in as a walk in. The woman at the front desk was very friendly. Lisa was my masseuse and she seemed very experienced and automatically me were to concentrate her pressure. She used hot stones (never tried before) and they really help relax my muscles while she gave me the massage. They offer discounts the more you book with them. I'm a new mama full of stress and knots so my husband bought me a Groupon for Vila to help me relax. (Bless him) When I first called to make the appointment, I got a very friendly woman who asked if I wanted to come in that night and I was shocked that at 7pm they were still open first of all, and that they had immediate availability. I was already in bed, but asked how late they were open and she said 10pm which is awesome for those who work later hours. I scheduled for the next day and had no problem getting a time that worked for me. I was greeted immediately even though I arrived early by the same friendly woman (didn't catch her name) but I loved and complimented her pink aesthetic lol. I only waited a few minutes but noticed they had snack and drinks available in the lobby. I was taken to a super cute (pink) room which she said is not normally the combo room, but that room was currently occupied. So I can't speak as to the difference, but I enjoyed my experience in the pink room all the same! I had the combo massage which included a foot soak and scrub, reflexology hot stones and oil. I did ask for deeper pressure and Daniel delivered. He also asked a few times if the pressure was okay just to be completely sure but not enough that it was annoying. I don't know that I would normally do the combo massage because I prefer to have more work done on my shoulders but I still got a full body massage nonetheless and considering it was my first leg day in almost a year I actually really needed the reflexology. Overall it was a great massage which actually lasted an hour which is not something I've ever actually gotten when I book an hour massage! Their prices are super affordable and this mama is going to be coming back as often as I can! Can't wait to see how the full body hour massage for $55 is and if I can ask for a longer time targeted to my shoulders. I was offered water on my way out and genuinely happy workers making sure I was all set when I left. 10/10 for the price and service! read more

Don't you hate it when you pay for a long massage and they don't really relieve your pain? In fact, you spend a portion of your session wondering how most politely and best to tell them they are NOT doing a good job. But not here. Vila Massage is one of those unexpected reasons why I miss California. Where ELSE can you make a same-day appointment for a 60 or 90-minute deep tissue until 10 pm? The facility is clean and spacious, very sweetly decorated with girlish and romantic touches. The music is mostly piano covers, from Amazing Grace to Linkin Park. *yes, you can indeed make a soothing piano of Linking Park LOL! The therapists don't talk much, they are mostly Asian, which I love, but they are attentive to your needs. The extent of their interview with you is: "light, medium, or hard?" Love it! I had quite a bit of pain in my upper back and my therapist was Sara, a petite female like myself. I felt like I was getting a massage from myself, with her pointy little elbows and tiny hands. Now I know how others feel when I give them a massage LOL! For being so small they really get in there. If you have pain and need a deep tissue, somewhat punishing-in-a-good-way, hurts-so-good style of massage, this is wonderful. They put you into stretches that feel like contortion training but feels so therapeutic, and the oil is hot and unscented. I shower BEFORE I go, and it is nice to go straight to sleep afterwards. The fees are so reasonable that I tip generously, and I recommend paying cash. The therapy rooms have dimmable lights you may adjust. I recommend taking off all the clothes as much of their massage involves the booty. It is definitely not a place if you are looking to get caressed to sleep - but if you are really have myofascial pain. Excellent work, I slept soundly and I am so grateful for being accommodating to the limited time I have during the holiday season. I have been to many massage therapists before, from the Blue Sky 25/hour in an odd group setting to the luxurious five-star resorts. Just POINT to your pain, and they will get after it! read more
