Was craving Mediterranean food and found this place near my house and I was very impressed with the food quality I had the Mix Grill with rice and mashed potatoes and got a side of their creamy macaroni and cheese . My friends met for hookah night and dinner. The patio set up is pretty cool with live music and worth sitting and smoking hookah. This place is amazing but we had some issues with reservation, I called and made sure we will have a good table for 6 on the couch but when we came they told me none of the tables were available. Over priced and over charged for 2 plates and 2 water and 1 hookah $178 even forgot to bring the appetizer and still they charged me and no receipt! Came in on Friday around 6:00 to watch the World Series with my buddy and his kid. Had a good time watching the game. The service was very slow and I rarely saw my waiter. Host was the only good part. The host was amazing -- that's where the positives stopped. Everything else went downhill from there. Guests who ordered after us got their drinks first. I asked for ranch, ketchup, and red onion -- none of it ever came. I finally went up myself to get what I could, and when the server finally showed up, he brought one ranch and red pepper flakes instead of onion. We never got napkins or utensils. The drinks didn't arrive until after we'd already finished eating, and my beer was the wrong one. The "Lebanese Delight" cocktail tasted strongly of licorice, which was never mentioned as an ingredient -- very strange. To top it off, I finally got a water when the check came. This place needs serious help with organization, timing, and basic service. read more

I recommend this restaurant for their Happy Hour. We have gone back three weeks in a row and always ask for the server, Maricela. She is super enthusiastic, friendly, and responsive to a customer's requests. She made great recommendations off the menu. Be aware that the Strawberry salad with the lemon pepper vinegairette has a lot of pepper, too much for my liking. The other items on the menu have been excellent. I love going there and catching the Dodgers or Rams games on the big screens but what I love best is the quality of food at VERY fair prices. I went to Villa Haven today during their happy hour and had a great time! I started with the Strawberry Basil Margarita and the Kuba as our appetizer (new from their Mediterranean menu). The margarita was solid, and I liked that the Kuba had a thin outer layer and a generous amount of filling, topped with tzatziki. For my entrée, I had the Kofte plate. The Kofte was super flavorful and tender (one of the best I've tasted). Overall, the Mediterranean menu offers great options; you really can't go wrong with anything. I rarely give out any reviews but this was soo bad that I had to. Everything was just consistently bad. Cold food, nothing was fresh, from sitting down to ordering took 15 minutes and only because we flagged someone down. We weren't given a server and nobody introduced themselves. My partner and I came in on a Friday night, luckily we made reservations as the outdoor seating was packed. We get seated and I had plenty of time to notice how nice the atmosphere was: the lighting, the seats, everything was very well put together. The reason I had plenty of time to notice these things is because it took 30 minutes from the time we got seated to when a waiter acknowledged our existence, and I'm the one who called him over. We ordered waters, drinks, and an appetizer to start off the night, at which point I'm very parched. The appetizer came out before the waters did and I had to remind them. At this point we're about 45 minutes in and still no beverage. I was knocking on dehydrations door. Finally, the drinks came and shortly after the waters followed. The drinks looked and tasted great, and the appetizer was just alright. We waited quite sometime for the waiter to check on us so we can order hookah and an entree. Once again, I had to wave him down to grab his attention. I ordered the chicken kabob plate with an extra side of garlic and fries. My plate was hastily dropped onto my table and the waiter vanished before I realized he forgot the fries and the side of garlic, which is essential to my meal. The temperature of my food is decreasing with each passing minute. I call him over and let him know what was missing and he said it would be right out. At this point, I am frustrated to say the least, I finished my whole plate without receiving the garlic or fries, no refill on the water, and not so much as a quick checkup from any staff. When I see the waiter again I could tell he had forgotten, and he tried to blame his shortcomings on the kitchen staff. Very cowardly. I tell him to forget the fries as my appetite vanished just like his work ethic. We stayed a little while longer to enjoy the hookah and observed other patrons going through the same thing as us, nice to know it wasn't personal. I will say in spite of all that happened to me, I would go back a second time. The waiter did acknowledge the poor service and apologized. This was appreciated. As soon as we sat down we saw that most tables hadn't gotten their food yet...The menu had not changed much from rock n brew with added Mediterranean items. We were recommended the calamari, but were later informed it wasn't available yet. We tried to order some wine and were told the wine list was on their website. After about 10 minutes of trying to navigate through their website we were told the wine list wasn't available yet. We settled with getting the nachos and a beer just to get us out of there.
