My partner and I came in on a Friday night, luckily we made reservations as the outdoor seating was packed. We get seated and I had plenty of time to notice how nice the atmosphere was: the lighting, the seats, everything was very well put together. The reason I had plenty of time to notice these things is because it took 30 minutes from the time we got seated to when a waiter acknowledged our existence, and I'm the one who called him over. We ordered waters, drinks, and an appetizer to start off the night, at which point I'm very parched. The appetizer came out before the waters did and I had to remind them. At this point we're about 45 minutes in and still no beverage. I was knocking on dehydrations door. Finally, the drinks came and shortly after the waters followed. The drinks looked and tasted great, and the appetizer was just alright. We waited quite sometime for the waiter to check on us so we can order hookah and an entree. Once again, I had to wave him down to grab his attention. I ordered the chicken kabob plate with an extra side of garlic and fries. My plate was hastily dropped onto my table and the waiter vanished before I realized he forgot the fries and the side of garlic, which is essential to my meal. The temperature of my food is decreasing with each passing minute. I call him over and let him know what was missing and he said it would be right out. At this point, I am frustrated to say the least, I finished my whole plate without receiving the garlic or fries, no refill on the water, and not so much as a quick checkup from any staff. When I see the waiter again I could tell he had forgotten, and he tried to blame his shortcomings on the kitchen staff. Very cowardly. I tell him to forget the fries as my appetite vanished just like his work ethic. We stayed a little while longer to enjoy the hookah and observed other patrons going through the same thing as us, nice to know it wasn't personal. I will say in spite of all that happened to me, I would go back a second time. The waiter did acknowledge the poor service and apologized. This was appreciated. Went last night for drinks and dinner with friends. Service - the wait staff was walking around with food asking each table if it was theirs. Why would you not know what table to give it to? Drinks - brought the wrong beer that was ordered and the Moscow mule, think they forgot the vodka. Food - pepperoni pizza, trio dip, both very bland. It was like Rock and Brew food, not good. Really wanted to like this place, but damn was it a horrible experience. As soon as we sat down we saw that most tables hadn't gotten their food yet...The menu had not changed much from rock n brew with added Mediterranean items. We were recommended the calamari, but were later informed it wasn't available yet. We tried to order some wine and were told the wine list was on their website. After about 10 minutes of trying to navigate through their website we were told the wine list wasn't available yet. We settled with getting the nachos and a beer just to get us out of there. Good mix of music, blast from the past watching music videos from 80s - early 2000s. Our server was really sweet, attentive, and gave wonderful recommendations. Always had our cups filled. Chicken wings - was suggested to try the asian sauce. It was so good! Definitely ordering again to try the other flavors. From the moment we walked in, we were met with disorganization--waiting over 10 minutes at an empty host stand. Once seated, it took another 10-15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or offered water. When the food finally began to arrive--one dish at a time with long gaps in between--things only got worse. Comically terrible experience. The restaurant was almost completely empty, but when we asked to sit outside the host said "uh maybe..." and then silently walked to a table in blaring direct sunlight (around 5:30pm) while all the shaded tables were empty. There were extra chair and tables randomly strewn about the patio and stacked next to our table. We ordered an appetizer and did not receive plates until we were almost done eating it. Then when I ordered my entree the server was confused and didn't even know what I was ordering. I ordered "steak soft tacos" verbatim as it's written on the menu and she had no idea what I was talking about. The steak in the tacos was almost entirely fatty pieces that I couldn't even chew. While we were eating, the host and possible the manager were dragging tables through the restaurant past our table. I had to move my chair in to allow room for them to drag a table past me. Keep in mind, the entire restaurant was empty aside from us and one other table. Tables and chairs dragging and screeching on the floor, not being lifted at all. ?? After receiving our food we didn't see our server for 30+ minutes and eventually had to get up to track her down in order to pay our bill. Went to Villa Haven for lunch today and it was excellent! Their menu is impressive with the amount of selections they have. I got the bbq chicken salad and my husband got the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious, but I have to say the spicy chicken sandwich was exceptional. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the breading was light, and the fresh jalapeños on top made it perfection. We came here to watch the Dodger game on Halloween. We used to come when it was Rockin Brews just ok didn expect too much. First we noticed the greeting and attentive service from our server Andrew, then we ordered some drinks and liked those.
