This is the worst pizza I have ever eaten....I ordered a large pizza, sausage,pepperoni,mushrooms and a combo, for $28.00...the pizza was so salty (maybe it was the pepperoni?)but extremely salty, it was so thin that the oil from the cheese seaped right thru the cardboard, so very oily as well.....the beef had a refrigerator smell....like it was day old or something like it......will never ord at this place again.....also too expensive for this nasty food. read more

I ate here and the place was gross! Tables were not cleaned, bugs crawling on the floors, ect. Stay far away from this trash!

Pizza is graet, counter help, excellent. the only fault I see is the makers DO NOT know how to cut the pie. never through, and sliced pieces very from 1 inch squares, to 5 in rectangles. seems more training is needed in the slicing department here. read more

I grew up in south Berwyn during the 60s and 70s and Villa Nova was always our family's first choice in pizza. Although I rarely get back to the "good 'ole neighborhood" in Berwyn from where I live in Wisconsin, when I do return, Villa Nova is always on my "To Do" list. I would like to be able to write about how delicious the pizza was (it sure smelled good), unfortunately my pizza never came. I drove here from the west lawn area to pick up my pizza. The Original wafer thin! I can't get enough. I'm more of a fan of pan or New York (of which Chicago does not have one decent place) and normally I stay away from the square cut pies--so many average places out there I can't tell them apart--but Villa Nova stands head and shoulders above the rest. There is a reason that everyone in my family has this place on speed dial. The crust is very thin, the sauce is excellent, and they use enough to make it juicy, the cheese is so fresh, and we love their sausage and mushrooms. What happened to the pizza the last two we ordered were so greasy they were gross crossed off my list

first time ordering from this location for take out, they got our order wrong. we took the incorrect pizza back and got a new one. they were very apologetic and we appreciated that. they credited us for the toppings we didn't order. it was kind of a pain because we were coming from North Oak Park to Stickney...twice. The pizza was actually very good. we will be back to take out again. Next time we will ask for extra sauce and well done. read more

Great pizza, but long wait. Every time we order a pizza, we add 10 to 20 minutes because you end up waiting. They are known for their sausage pizza, but note they only give you one sausage per slice. Otherwise, it's a great neighborhood place! read more

We have been searching for thin thin crust since moving to oak park. Just had take out after reading yelp reviews and it was a home run. Great sausage tasty sauce and cracker pastry type crust. Worth the 10-15 minute drive for pick up, but more likely will pick up on my way home from work....if they would only deliver to oak park I think this would be our go to pizza joint. I was unaware that Villa Nova in Lockport shut down and I was used to just googling "villa nova near me" and ordering pizza from there. Tonight, I did the same thing (But ended up calling the Stickney location) by complete accident and ordering a pizza. I drove to the lockport Villa Nova and it was dark and empty. I checked the phone number I called and sure enough I had called the Stickney Villa nova instead. It was a 45 minute one way drive from where I live so I called them to explain the situation and they were very nice about it. We ordered to go, and ordered a sausage pizza. I was pretty disappointed. Had the sausage not been good, this rating would have been one star less. I did not like the thin crust because it was moist and not crispy, as you'd expect with thinner crust. Ususally love their pizza but tonight was just ok. Definitely not up to their usual greatness. Wanted my pizza pie sliced not squares but the Manager decided to help out and without checking the order square sliced the pizza. No apoligies, they just told me it was sliced in squares. The usual great taste wasn't there.It's been a while since I have ordered from them so I'm wondering if they have gone downhill since I last ordered.
