Not a fan of being turned away. Checked ahead of time to make sure they were open and it said they they were open until 7. I arrived at 6:41 and asked if they were open. First, in unison, they bluntly said, "CLOSED". Then I asked a second time to make sure I heard them right and they all answered at the same time, but one said that they were open until 7. At that point, I felt like reasoning with them would just be a waste of mine and their precious time. So I just left. If your a business, I believe you should just keep serving until you are closed. I understand wanting to get out on time, but if you can't do your job in a 20 minute time frame there's a bigger issue... Plus, not everyone has corresponding time schedules. The only reason I didn't put one star is because they do a pretty decent job. However, they charge extra for a matte top coat that doesn't look matte at all. AND they charge extra for an almond shape. That was a little excessive to me because most salons (that I go to anyway), don't mind because they're not using extra resources. So, I will definitely be hesitant to go to this place again. Maybe the next time (I decide to time it right) it'll be more reasonable. read more

When I called to make an appointment for a pedicure from either Jenny or Hannah, They said "ok, come now." I get there and neither one of the girls were there, so I decided to go with the flow and let another girl do my pedicure. I should have known it was a bad idea, but I really needed a pedicure. I didn't ask for the girl's name bc I knew I would never want another pedicure from her. I thought my pedicure at Nails and Spa by Katie was bad, this was way worse. this is by far the worst procure I've ever gotten! The girl cut my nails straight across, which I realize is how they are supposed to be done, but she didn't file the sharp edges. I had no clue it would be a problem until a week and a half later when I could feel the nail irritating my skin. As I was touching it to see what was wrong, pus squeezed out of it. The sharp edge was digging into my skin, causing an infection. I removed the sharp part of the nail, but the toe is still infected. I will have to go to the doctor for an antibiotic. The other nails are starting to bother me, so I'll need a pedicure as soon as my infection clears up..hopefully no other toes become infected during that time! read more

I can't tell you how much I enjoy this place. I always went to places that were overpriced and did my nails the way they wanted. Assembly line, always squared, no matter what I told them, they did what they wanted. The ladies here I have really been great. They do my nails exactly how I want them rounded oval. Not too thick not too thin. They last. And they look natural. And all of them do this so you don't have to be stuck waiting for one woman, though I have my faves. Won't be back. I had stared coming here on a regular basis to get manicures and pedicures. Then decided to get acrylic full set after my nails kept breaking. Nails looked good but 3 days later they started cracking and breaking. I came back to get them fixed, the lady who greeted me asked me what I needed. I explained my situation to her, instead of being understanding she treated me as if I was a bother to her. I'm sorry but when I spend over $55 to get my nails done I expect them to last more than 3 days. The woman who seemed annoyed told me I would need to wait 30 mins or come back the next day. Never go to the manager!!! She doesn't pay attention to you and easily gets distracted with the cash register and phone calls. I got gel nails done by her and she essentially painted my cuticles so the gel nail polish was stuck to my skin! I asked her to fix it and she started filing it down. She filed so vigorously that she left a huge gash on my finger. She pretended like she didn't notice and just gave me a bandaid. And the towel she used smelled so bad I had to go home and shower to get the rag smell off my arms. I've been going here for a while until recently I got a infection on my finger. My finger was almost double the size of my others. The pain was so bad I had to go to the emergency room. There they told me it was an infection I got from an invasive tool the nail salon used. At the time I had no insurance so I asked the owner to take responsibility for the infection they gave me and pay the bills. The owners tried to blame the infection on me saying suggesting I'm a dirty person and I did this to myself. The male owner told me that his insurance worker said that it was impossible for me to develop an infection within two days and said if I got an infection from the nail salon that it would have got infected that day. Hours after I got my nails done my finger was swollen and red. I then got into touch with the insurance worker and she was very nice and accommodating and covered my hospital bills. I will never be coming back here it took my finger so long to heal read more

This place is a rip off!! They have a sign out front that says 20% off a mani pedi... I took my 3 young daughters in, and a kids mani pedi was 27$ after the discount.
