They initially replaced the motor mounts and then told her the torque converter needed to be replaced. She paid approximately $3,500 for the repairs, but afterward the vehicle would not run at all. The shop told her they would determine the problem and asked for a couple of weeks. Those "couple of weeks" turned into six months, leaving her without transportation the entire time. Eventually, we had to involve their insurance company. The vehicle was then taken to Ford for diagnosis. According to Ford, the repairs were in such poor condition that it would cost more than $10,000 in labor and parts to correct the issues. As a result, the insurance company chose to total the vehicle rather than repair it. Unfortunately, the insurance company would not reimburse the $3,500 my daughter had already paid, stating that she would need to seek reimbursement directly from All About Cars. When we contacted the shop, Nate became argumentative, yelled during the phone call, and ultimately hung up. To this day, we have not received any reimbursement. To make matters worse, I later learned from Ford that the engine had reportedly been dropped during the repair process, causing damage to the transmission line. Despite the damage occurring during the repair work, my daughter was still charged for the repairs. Charging a customer to fix damage caused by your own negligence is unacceptable, dishonest and unprofessional, Losing both $3,500 AND her vehicle created a significant financial hardship for my daughter. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend All About Cars. I strongly encourage anyone considering this shop to do thorough research and ask detailed questions before trusting them with their vehicle.

The most INCOMPETENT garage I've ever encountered. We brought our Subaru to Greg's for a simple…read morebrake fix. Immediately after their "repair," the tires reeked of burning rubber and the car shook violently on the road. When we returned, they blamed "faulty calipers" -- the same calipers they had installed -- and refused any partial refund, stating they "DON'T DO REFUNDS." What reputable shop refuses refunds for unsafe, poorly done work, especially on brakes that can seriously injure or kill?! We went back a third time because the brakes still made noises at every stop. Instead of inspecting anything, Greg took my husband on a "test drive," speeding to 50 mph and slamming the brakes in a whiplash‑inducing stunt meant to intimidate rather than diagnose. He insisted the brakes were fine. They were not. Soon after, the front wheel made a loud metal‑on‑metal scraping. A second opinion from another shop confirmed our fears: Greg's people had done the worst brake job they had ever seen. They even questioned whether the "new" calipers we paid for were new at all -- the brakes looked two years old, not two months. Greg has ignored calls, refused refunds, and offered zero apology. He only responds to Google reviews. The customer-focused values he advertises on his website are nowhere to be found in his actual business. My husband suggested that I check with Reno Vulcanizing to see if they could perform some of the services. I thought that was a great idea so I made an appointment for a brake fluid flush. I took it in this morning and saw Markus. He was very knowledgeable and couldn't have been nicer. He asked me how I knew I needed to have the brake fluid replaced. I told him that the other shop had recommended it. Before I left, he suggested we go check the fluid. He took a sample of it from the engine, said it was the right color, didn't look dirty and told me that based on the mileage since it was last changed, that it didn't need to be replaced today. I appreciate his honesty and his knowledge. He jokingly told me to save my money. Because of his honesty, integrity, knowledge, and excellent customer service skills, I'm certainly going to take all my cars to Reno Vulcanizing for all future services.
