Loose drain plug and missing hardware So I was taking both my Civic and Promaster here. Not anymore. I decided to change the oil myself today in the Civic. I discovered some issues with my car today that I am 99% sure was caused by Instant Lube. -I discovered 50% of my skid plate/cover fasteners were missing. There are different styles under there and it was a variety of them missing so I can't blame Honda for a fault fastner design. -Upon dropping the cover, I discovered quite a bit of oil that leaked into the cover. Then I was able to loosen the drain plug bolt by HAND. Yes, the drain plug bolt was HAND TIGHT and oil was dripping around the threads and onto the cover. -I did return to this location and explained what happened and they refunded my $95ish. I did not expect this refund nor did I ask for it. -The manager did say that the lube tech that did the job no longer worked there. I will no longer be going to the shop. I typically take all of my vehicles to the dealership to get repairs and maintenance done, but our dealership couldn't get us in for a couple weeks and we really needed an oil change, so following my fellow yelpers, I decided to come here. I pulled up and parked, in a really nice girl actually was making her way to my vehicle, greeted me, and pulled me in the bay immediately to get the service. And then showed me my different options. Unlike the dealership that typically has the car for about 4 hours for an oil change, we were in and out in about 15 minutes!! I figured the price would be a little cheaper, but it's cheaper than what the dealership offers, and you have an array of different oils and synthetics you can choose from with different price points. We just went with the cheapest of all, and I think it was around 85 bucks! Great place to come if I'm in a pinch for time! read more

I love this place. They fixed an error jiffy lube made that had caused my car to leak oil. I think they left the wrench in the drain and the stopper became warped... instant lube replaces the plug for free and solved the issue. I will go to no other shop from now on!! I've been going here for 3 years and have been pleased with service. In April 2024 I went for an oil change and for the first time, they tried to remove my skid plate. I yelled what is he doing?! That's not where the oil filter is! They said sorry he's a new guy. I asked them to make sure the skid plate is secure as it was. The change costs over $200 for a full size truck. When I got home I checked the skid plate to make sure ok. I saw the oil was leaking from the filter and it was covered with dirt and oil. I believe they didn't change the filter although they charged me for it. i don't trust this place anymore. read more

I went here for an oil change on my Kia Seltos and they didn't have the right air filter for it. They told me if I go purchase it at the O'rillys close by that they would give me discount on the service! I did that and when I returned, they said they couldn't give me a discount cause they don't charge for the filter. This was my first time going to Instant Lube for an oil change. I had such a great experience! I pulled up to one of the car bays and a friendly employee greeted me. He asked me what I needed and told me to pull into the bay next door because the car ahead would be leaving in a moment. Once in the bay he had me test out all of lights and had me pop the hood. The guys got to work while I sat in my car. While they worked on the oil change two of the guys wiped down all of my windows and in just a few minutes everything was done! I really appreciate the extra checks that they did for me all while never having to get out of my car! I've gone to Instant Lube a number of times to get my oil changed. They're close to my home and their service is SUPER quick. No appointment needed, just pull up. I've never had to wait in line. You have the choice of waiting in your car or going inside. When you're with your kiddos etc, sometimes it's easier to just keep everyone in the car while your quick service is being completed. That being said they have a nice little waiting space equip with cold beverages in the fridge and a kuerig with tons of tea or coffee flavors/options. This place gets five stars because of the service. The entire staff is so hospitable. They check multiple things (levels, lights, wipers, vents, etc) while they're doing your service and inform you while you wait. They give you the options fix things if needed (up-sell), but there is no pressure at all. They are informative and patient. They really take the time to make sure you understand your options, pros/cons, and that you are satisfied. My favorite part about this establishment is Raquel and Trish. I went today to get my oil change on my 2020 Toyota Tacoma. when shown the dip stick it was half way between the add and full line. I kindl asked for them to fill it. they refused and said half way from add line is full. I'm sorry the add line is a full quart and half way is a half a quart. I also let them know I had it changed 2xs with same requirement 6.2 quarts and it full to add so I believe your sett wasn't correct. but still refused on top of their rates going up dramatically. 105 dollars and I had to go to the auto store buy more oil for a third of what they charge per quart to top off. unbelievable totally unprofessional . they are going down hill. I would avoid this location at all cost plus oil was all over the place underneath causing me to have to use degreaser and power wash. I was livid but held my peace. so read more

Love coming here for my oil change. I hate going to auto mechanics, waiting over half an hour in the waiting room not knowing what's going on with my car. With instant lube, you can just drive up, stay in your car, get what you need to be done (oil change) and they'll happily top up your tires, windshield fluid and check your air filter. Used these guys for the first time today and they got the job done pretty quick. Just needed an oil change and my vehicle uses fully synthetic only. Their price listing only has 5 options. $119 being the most expensive. I chose the mobil 1 fully synthetic but was told they are out of stock of it. Alittle puzzled how they could be out of stock. So I had to default to the Castrol synthetic. The crew were polite and they seemed to be either high school students doing the work there or very young kids. I just arrived at 5:09 P.M. to get an oil change. The doors were closed, since it is cold out I figured they were cold, but open. They looked at me and turned the lights out. Their website says that they are open until 5:30 P.M., Google and Yelp have their closing time at 5:30 P.M. I had to work until 5:00 P.M. and hurry through traffic just for this BS! Instant Lube has done oil changes on all 4 of my cars, but not anymore! You lost a customer for life. I took my daughter here for her first oil change in her car. The staff was friendly and even offered us water while we waited in the car. They were super fast with all the service and explained everything to us that they were doing. And even showed us the air filter that was super dirty. Not too expensive for the full service and air filter. It was great we didn't need an appointment and got in pretty quick.
