A great German style buffet in the Germany Pavilion in Epcot. There's an array of fantastic cold salads, beer cheese soup, warm pretzels, meats, sausages, chicken, and sides. The dessert selection is amazing and everything is tasty! $49 for adults. It's worth it and will keep you full all day. They also have a live performance of polka singers and musicians!

I've been wanting to take my family here for a while and with the AP discounts, it was perfect timing. This gem at Epcot is so charming and really transports you to Germany through the interactive dinner show. Tucked in the back of the pavilion, we checked in and got seated immediately right by the stage. The three tiers of seating with a few steps means everyone gets a great spot to see the musicians. We had about a half hour before they started so we ordered some authentic German biers and went to scope out the buffet. All our soft drinks were included in the buffet but we wanted their wheat beer too. I will preface that if you like German food, this is great. If you don't, you might not appreciate the dishes as much but our family is German-American and grew up with some of these dishes so it was fun. All of the salads were a hit, especially the beets, seasonal Strawberry salad, and pasta salad. The beer cheese soup and pretzel bread is incredible! So creamy and rich, a great starter. We also loved the meatballs, pork schnitzel with wine sauce, and bratwursts. The salmon was a little dry but the dill flavor was really great. The freshly cut green apples with creamy caramel were so yummy to finish the meal, along with the apple pastry topped with vanilla sauce. The other desserts were just ok. Overall the cute theming inside (designed to look like a biergarten at night) and music are a great bonus to the hearty German dishes that really hit the spot. We will definitely recommend to friends who want a fun dining experience. Shoutout to our amazing waitress Presca who was so attentive and kind. You will leave super full and in good spirits thanks to the hospitality and hearty food. Maybe a nap is advised after!

First, to be honest, I do not like German food. Too heavy, too much pork, and lots of fried stuff. This was the only place available with our Epcot concert series package, so we took it. need to resemble an old-time hearing village, it is pretty inside. Live entertainment includes music/accordion, and lots of polka dancing. Our server who is finally, attentive, and as per standard, from Germany. The good I had was eh--- and I avoided most of the offerings--but I did enjoy my small birthday cupcake that she brought out as well as a birthday certificate! I'm sure the food is good if you like German food, but one and done for me.

Ticket required to Epcot & restaurant reservations may be required to dine at the Biergarten restaurant. Unlike most restaurants at Epcot this has country themed entertainment with a band that comes and plays regularly while you dine. It makes the experience feel like Oktoberfest. Service was great with our server Noah! And the food is a buffet and very good. From the sign out front at the host desk: Partial Listing of Selections Seasonal Salads * Roasted Chicken Traditional Sausages * Sauerkraut * Potatoes Spaetzle * Schnitzel Assorted Desserts including Apple Strudel Plant-based Options Available Ambiance is like being in Germany. Worthwhile experience if you've never been.

As everyone will attest to, the music and performance are absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is comfortable for kids and adults alike, and as a party of 6 we had an entire table to ourselves, avoiding the possible awkwardness of sharing a table. Our server was friendly, the buffet was always stocked! The savory food was all good, nothing spectacular but I don't know if I've ever had spectacular German food. The only detractor was the dessert, I was hoping for a delicious crispy strudel, and was greeted with one that was decent but not at all crispy. Honestly the food highlight for me was the beer cheese soup!

Biergarten is such a fun spot for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is huge and the service is good. The decor and theme is perfect and the show is actually really fun and enjoyable. Even if you eat fast make sure to grab a beer and sit back and watch the show. This is a buffet so you will walk away full not matter how big your appetite is. The buffet has lots of options and for a buffet the food is pretty good. Make sure to save some room for dessert.

This was by far the best buffet and dining experience we had at Disney World! The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all well worth the price. It truly felt like a cultural showcase, offering an authentic taste of the world. We visited on a Saturday night around 8 PM, and they still welcomed us in without any issues. I especially enjoyed the red cabbage and the pâté, they were absolutely delicious and special. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The live music and traditional instruments added so much to the ambiance, and it was heartwarming to see children dancing near the stage. That moment really captured the magic of Disney for us.

Best buffet at EPCOT and A top tier buffet at Disney World. Fun music show by great performers for every that takes place each hour, four German beers and a ton of great authentic German food in and indoor/ night time setting

Highly recommend at Epcot if you're wanting a sit down buffet place! Variety of German food- I liked everything from schnitzel, saur kraut, sausages, salmon, a variety of vegetables. The apple strudel dessert is the best. My toddler enjoyed it as well and had a bit of everything

This fun German buffet is located in Epcot. They have a wide variety of German fare to choose from including schnitzel, spratzel, pretzel bread, and beer & cheese soup! They also have some German desserts and a lot of custom drinks. The little band that plays every hour was fun, and we had a good time! It's pricy, but if you're hungry, totally worth it.

Saw where the menu says "POTATOES", are they baked potatoes or have they done something to them(I ask cause we have a picky eater who'll likely eat 2 things)?

They have German potato salad. I think they had roasted potatoes too. Don't remember baked potatoes. But there's so much other stuff, surely your picky eaters will find something they like...esp. dessert.

When we were there in the past, they would seat you with other parties at the same table. With COVID, do they still do that, or are parties in their own?

    No it's all individual

Do you have to eat buffet or can you just order food w/o buffet? How much is the lunch buffet?

Their menu only has buffet info, but you can always ask a cast member before committing to dining, of course. I've never personally seen a delivered plate, but because of allergies and special dietary requests, I'm sure they would accommodate that.

Do they have a bar where you can grab a drink without a reservation?

The Germany Pavillion does not. Next door you can sit in the Wine Cellar and have a pint or a glass or even a mixed drink.

Is this a good choice for date night?

Certainly is! Be sure you dance with the live German performers!

Is this in a theme park or can anyone get to it?

Decided to try lunch specials and got the lunch portion Pork Schnitzel with Potato Pancakes and Gurkensalat (fresh cucumber salad with yogurt/sour cream dressing) My companion ordered the Buffalo Sandwich but opted for pork rather than chicken. A surprising choice that turned out to be a very good one! Came with 2 sides, chose fries and red cabbage. We also ordered the cheese spatzle with butter cheese and gruyere. Nice day so we dined outside on the patio. Our server (didn't get his name) was helpful and quick with our beverages and order. Everything came out quickly, hot and fresh. The schnitzel was perfectly fried and tender. The potato pancakes crisp and delicious with applesauce and sour cream toppings! Gurkensalat, fresh slightly crunchy cucumbers in a light creamy dressing. Perfect summer salad! The Buffalo sandwich with pork instead of chicken was amazing! Cooked to tender perfection with just the right amount of buffalo sauce and heat. The grilled pretzel bun with cheese, lettuce and tomato was excellent. The fries were a great companion to the Buffalo sandwich. Red cabbage rounded out the meal adding both color and texture to the lunch. I come to this restaurant every time I visit Sanford as I love German food and the staff here is so friendly and welcoming! I understand it can be challenging for new owners to reopen a business and uphold its original integrity, but unfortunately, these owners have failed miserably despite the multiple chances I've given them. They are extremely inconsistent with their hours, often closing during peak times or random days of the week. Tonight, for example, a busy Saturday night with the village packed...they decided to close early at 9 p.m. and were only serving rum and Coke or beer. They were literally turning away business. The authentic German food that once set this place apart is gone. While a few "German-style" items remain on the menu, I wouldn't recommend them. The overall atmosphere has completely changed, no longer family-friendly, with rude staff and no trace of the live German music that used to fill the air and make this spot so special. After giving them several chances, I can confidently say I won't be returning.

Have you ever wondered what German pastry heaven would look like?…read moreWell, look no further, Yalaha Bakery is what you've been dreaming of! My husband and I have been searching for a German bakery since we both have a sweet tooth for baked goodies. He's been telling me about how legendary German goulash tastes since before we got married (it's been a few years now ) and the Yalaha Bakery menu mentioned seasonal soup including goulash so of course we had to stop here. We visited on a rainy Wednesday afternoon around 4:45 pm. This place has modest architecture and a small parking lot, but don't let that fool you since as soon as you open the door, there are 4 glorious levels of tasty treats under a refrigerated glass display and fresh bread in shelves behind the counter. There were about 4 customers in the shop and a few others that came in while we were ordering. Everything looked so delectable, so it was hard to choose from the huge variety! Our bakery order ended up being quite large, so I'm glad my husband brought the cooler with him. We got 1 rhubarb pie (for a gift), 1 rhubarb streusel (another gift), 1 apple streusel, 1 German apple pie, 1 tiramisu, 2 lavender shortbread cookies, 1 eclair, 1 cream horn, 1 Brazilian caramel bar, 4 pretzel rolls, and 4 large pretzels. There might be a few other things as well. The order was about $125 with tip. Excellent customer service by the counter girl, and she was very patient while we were deciding on things. After we packed our pastries in the cooler, we went back to check out the deli section. They had a lot of German deli items to choose from, but what I was really interested in was the goulash. The very kind counter lady (possibly the owner?) took my order, and I couldn't have asked for a heartier, soul-warming soup for about $6. The meat was cooked to soft perfection. The veggies (peppers, tomato, and potato if I recall correctly) melted away while you sipped the soup that tasted like it was made by your favorite extra-skilled German grandma. I was in stew heaven. Of course, I shared a few spoonfuls with my husband, and it was gone in a few minutes. All in all, we discovered that Yalaha Bakery is a hidden gem in Yalaha, FL. If you love bakeries and handmade treats like we do, this is a great place to visit. Prepare your bank account to splurge on pastries, artisan German bread, and remember to stop by the deli! We'll be back again next time we're in the area on one of our road trips.
