My go to for breakfast in the morning every now and then. The waitress is incredibly nice and always friendly. The breakfast is really good here.

A very meaty burger and very filling. Service was outstanding and a very friendly and efficient server. A great place to eat. Mayo for my burger came in a squeeze bottle, so I was able to customize my mayo. A nice touch.

Fantastic breakfast today! I had the mushroom swiss omelet, add bacon, and hash browns. And a side of their homemade corned beef hash. My friend had scrambled eggs with corned beef hash, side of country potatoes. My doggie had a hamburger patty. Deeee-lish! The service was excellent. Food was hot. Everything was awesome!

My absolute favorite dinner. Such a hidden gem with wonderful portions of food . The Hash Browns are so good and you get a mound full . The waitress's are so sweet and attentive. Been here a couple times and always look forward to going back .

The Yelp page does not do this place justice. The photos are horrible. I was dreading coming in expecting powdered eggs and microwave bacon but to my surprise... THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD! I started eating before I realized I should probably get some pictures and post a review to help this place out. So apologies for the bites. We got simple two egg breakfast. The English muffin came perfectly buttered for me which I thought was nice. The bacon is fresh and so are the eggs! They have a choice of home potatoes or hash browns and both were very good! Would recommend if you're looking for a good, simple, but delicious breakfast or brunch!

By far the best OMELETTE in Santa Rosa. I come here a lot and every-time I'm here it just keeps getting better and better. Today I had to resort to Yelp to let others know how amazing this hidden gem truly is. Janet is always my server when I'm here and has to be one of the sweetest woman to ever serve me. Everytime I'm here she is very attentive and the guest and regulars that come here just adore her. Thank you for all your hard work it doesn't go unnoticed, I can feel your genuine nature from the second we walk in. Chef your food is outstanding thank you for always preparing a fresh plate your breakfast has to be the best here in Santa Rosa. Great environment awesome food and such a nice team here of employees I'm blown away with your little gem here. My omelette today was so good!! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat and great service. Been a foodie for years this place truly deserves 5 stars and a round of applause. Thanks Village Cafe!! You all rock!

The burgers and onion rings with ranch sauce, always superb. Honestly, never had a bad meal here. I just…read morerealized that they're part of the Stark Reality restaurant group, which has a big presence in Sonoma County. We had also tried Grossman's Noshery & Bar from the same restaurant group and were happy with the food there. I also heard good things about their other restaurants, so it should not have been a surprise that we were also impressed with the food here. Food is served tapas style and honestly, all the dishes sound appetizing. On this visit, we tried a few dishes. I wish I came with a more empty stomach to try more things. We ordered their crispy maitake mushrooms, steamed local black cod, and grilled house-made lamb sausage. Everything was delicious! The crispy maitake mushrooms came with a fish sauce which gave a nice brightening note to eat with fried food. Lemon was also fried with them to help cut any grease, so overall this dish did not feel oily or heavy. The steamed local black cod's ginger scallion oil surprisingly paired very well with the black truffle pesto. It had an earthy flavor profile that was brightened by the ginger. The cod was perfectly cooked and the mushrooms soaked up all of that saucy goodness. I loved this dish! The grilled house-made lamb sausage was Thai inspired and you could definitely taste the spices in the sausage. I actually would've liked more of the tamarind BBQ sauce and basil salad on this dish to help counter the lamb's spiciness a bit, but I enjoyed the dish. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and came out quickly. The restaurant is housed in what looks like a historic house, so it was a very cozy environment.
