Wow. Color me impressed! If you haven't tried Americana yet - go there!! I will do nearly anything for a (gluten free) waffle. I'm obsessed. Not only was I satisfied, I am exhilarated to report the expertly seasoned flavor, golden crisp texture and assortment of syrups, fruit and whipped cream all played a role in this master piece. Bonus - there's no risk of cross contamination because gf is the only option. Excellent choice. The Santa Rosa omelette had me at the goat cheese (one of my favorite combinations is eggs and goat cheese) but the chicken sausage was the star of the show. Chilaquiles with red and green salsa was perfection, too. The texture of the chips was on point; it is a HUGE serving, easily 2.5 meals a bit sooo good. Hashbrowns are insanely delicious and perfectly seasoned - no salt needed! Chai made expertly by our server was the best we've ever had z no notes. Cold brew w/their house made vanilla syrup was splendid!! Syrup was also great on the waffle.

We came here because I was really craving waffles for breakfast, and the owners of our favorite breakfast place were on vacation. So, of course, I had to order a waffle. First of all, since it was $17, I asked the server how big the waffle would be, and he reassured me that it would be large, thick, and filling. It looked nothing like that. In my opinion, there also wasn't nearly enough whipped cream. I definitely expected more for $17. Second of all, it was NOT cooked through at all. It was literally dough. After that, I completely lost my appetite and didn't want to order anything else. For $17 I expected it to be the best waffle of my life. Instead, it was the worst one I've ever had. My husband ordered the Breakfast Burrito with Bacon and green sauce. He said it was just ok. He couldn't say anything good or bad about it. The service was good. Our server even comped the entire bill, which was very kind of him and we really appreciated it. The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is because of our server. The food is bad and extremely overpriced. We will not be back.

I've been to this place a few times and it has never disappointed! Everything is high quality and they don't skimp on quantity either. The servers are always so friendly. This might actually be my favorite breakfast spot in Santa Rosa

One of my favorite spots in Santa Rosa . Been here quite a few times and haven't made a review yet. Here's one for my own record of great places. When I'm thinking breakfast or brunch - this is one of the first on the list that enters my mind . . And something to recommend. Coffee first - land and water . If you haven't tried them - here's your shot to upgrade yourself. A favorite in my coffee world. Flavor in coffee that you need to remember. Potato's at this place - fried in beef tallow . . Game changer, if you don't know . It's crispy, fluffy, and addicting . Great with their homemade hot sauce that's on the table. Service is so great every time I go . The Staff must know they are in a great place, and they're confident in what they serve. The quality of it all speaks volumes. Delicious food and an amazing atmosphere. A gem of Santa Rosa for sure in my book . Love it every time I go!

At this point I've gone here more than 20 times and it's Still amazing and deserves a higher rating than it has on Yelp. Better than most places with the same rating. Food is consistently well prepared and fresher than most places in the areas. The standouts are the cali Benedict and the pancakes. May be pricier than some people prefer but imo totally worth it.

Had a great meal on Saturday. Staff was friendly and very serviceable. I appreciated that there were several different areas for dining depending on what vibe you were looking for. Plenty of parking too. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was good. I do wish the potatoes inside the burrito had been warmer. The red sauce wasn't too flavorful or spicy which is what I expected but it didn't distract from the yummy taste of the burrito. The hibiscus refresher was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Cute cozy restaurant in Downtown Santa Rosa, came to the area to visit museums and grab a bite to eat before our adventure. Place was crowded when we arrived but we made a reservation with Open Table and got seated at our time. Everything is farm to table and you could tell. It was fresh and colorful didn't feel sleepy after eating. We went during brunch hours and tried the breakfast options. Enjoyed the service and the meals.

Our brunch started off rough. The staff seemed discombobulated, but things seemed to work themselves out. The food was good, but was a bit bland. Their homemade hot sauce was very good! Our server was very attentive and kind. The restaurant is quite loud.

Good brunch spot in Santa Rosa. We were staying at the hotel nearby and looking for a quick breakfast before leaving for some wine tasting. We were lucky to be the first ones seated. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and my dining mate ordered the Santa Rosa omelette. They came out relatively quick and we were able to order, eat and pay within about 45 minutes. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good, the gravy was nice and thick and flavorful with a good amount of sausage pieces in it. The biscuits were solid but not too dense. Went well mixing it together with the over medium egg I got. The omelette was alright. It was a good size, a bit more than what my dining mate needed and we took a little under half with us to go. Good amount of filling that went well together. The breakfast while more expensive than the buffet at the hotel was so much better than how the hotel one looked.

A great, rustic American diner feel! You get the feeling of comfort without all the grease! Wonderful farm-to-table selections. Love how the menu describes every ingredient and where it comes from. (ie. not just "lettuce" but "Singing Frog Farms lettuce") Service was excellent from start to finish - with a smile, refilling your water or coffee, checking up on you from time to time. We ordered: Cream of Mushroom Soup: Fabulous, hearty and full of funghi flavor! I ate up my entire bowl so fast, it never had a chance to cool. Biscuits and Gravy: delicious plate of comfort food with the eggs cooked just exactly how it was requested, sunny side. Chicken Fried Chicken: When they say juicy and buttermilk, you have to have it! The chicken was juicy in the inside and the outside was crispy good! We ordered the gravy on the side and that made for a perfect dipping sauce. Let's talk about that fantastic gravy though! With the bits of sausage for flavor. Yum! Huevos Rancheros: so delicious with its homemade tortilla and the wonderful black beans. Eggs were also cooked exactly how they were ordered, medium. Freshly squeezed orange juice was served so beautifully in a jar glass and the orange slices. The strawberry mimosa, although very good, could have been served and prepped in a prettier way. Overall, I'd definitely return.

Came on a Sunday to check out this place. Ambiance and service were great! The food delicious! We ordered chilaquiles and since we could not decide on whether we wanted pancakes or French toast, our server Ana mentioned we can do half and half so we can try both. It was lot of food, I would recommend to share the chilaquiles plate if you want to try a few other items. We truly loved the everything about this place and would definitely check the place out if ever out here again.

    Emi E.

Came here for the first time and loved it! We got the California eggs benedict with hash browns and the "Deal of the Week" which was a single pancake (+all the toppings) and choice of meat. The cider maple syrup and fresh whipped cream were delicious. Reasonable prices for the area and service was attentive. The restaurant was so warm and sunny for a morning brunch, would go back again!

We ordered multiple dishes on the menu and the worst was by far the bone marrow which we were very excited to try, should've known what to expect when they served it with ranch seasoned saltines, bone marrow is already so fatty and rich it doesn't need much for it to shine, adding andouille and onion jam was doing way too much. The saving grace of the night was the edamame appetizer (which was still a tad over cooked), sticky rice, which was not sticky by the way (jasmine rice) and the steak that was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Overall disappointed in their service, food, and above all else, drinks. If this is Sonoma's best, (displayed in the front) I wouldn't want to try their worst.

It looked like they ground their meat in house, but I forgot to ask so don't quote me on that. It was cooked a PERFECT medium rare topped with bacon, Cambazola, fig jam and frisse, served on a soft yet sturdy brioche style bun. The shoestring fries were like crack, super addictive, I couldn't stop! The wife had the steak frites, and it might be our new favorite restaurant for that dish. Steak was cooked ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY!! Fries were out of control good. No notes! Nice craft cocktail menu, short but well curated wines by the glass list, and the bartender had a heavy hand with those pours. Had a few oysters on the half shell as an appetizer, and we split the fried green tomatoes too. Those were topped with fresh shaved corn and a cilantro cream.l.with a few cherry tomatoes for color. So good. The atmosphere is old school speak easy vibe. Classy but casual. It's a small restaurant and the bar is front and center but they have a few tables outside for when the weather is nice. Our server was Sam, and she was the greatest. Hat's off to you for your service, Sam!

What can I say, they're got it all, great food, drinks, staff and location. We're not local, but…read moreit's a must-stop for us when we're up. Made it a day trip from SF during our recent trip to enjoy Russian River and to bring some back on our drive home from SF. The staff is great here, parking is easy in the front or back, and the location is perfect. It can be a bit dark inside, but they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Coming from LA, it's hard to find the value you're getting here If it's your first time here, get the flight. There are two options, but get the one with everything they have available. During our visit, it was 19 tasters for under $30. Not only because it's good value, but don't cheat yourself from trying all their beers while you're here. If you only know them for Pliny or Blind Big, you're missing out. The range of beers and unique flavors is excellent. Take your time and enjoy it all. I was sad I couldn't take home their RND IPA or a couple others they had sold out of in to-go cans. Did end up taking quite a few bottles/cans home to stock our fridge with, Keep it Rollin' and Mind Circus were some new ones with took home and enjoyed. Food was also delicious, we weren't too hungry, but we did get pizza and wings. Both were fresh and full of flavor. Love the kick on the Pliny sauce. Pizza was also still good later back at the hotel. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. Also worth a day trip if you're in SF. Wish we were closer and could visit more often.

Quality/Quantity - Got two flights of beers. The first one…read morewas from the CA Style section of the menu. All of which were too light for me. As in flavor, not alcohol levels. It was not bad, just not wowed. If you are following, I have been buying many of these beers from Whole Paycheck, I mean Whole Foods from $6 a bottle. On the second flight, I decided to do the entire Belgian Inspired Flight - The better of the two flights. So many different flavors. My daughter got the Southwest Wrap - I took a small bite, it was good. Just the perfect amount of kick, spice. And I think it's healthy. Kettle chips were good but had some burnt ends?!?! We were going to get the wings also, but after drinking 13 samplers, I was so full. Plus my daughter wanted to check out Teriyaki Madness in Novato, so off we went. See other review. Ambiance - Decent size location. Indoor and outdoor seating. An indoor bar, counter, and table seating. Semi open kitchen. Street metered parking. There is a paid lot/garage in the rear of the building but we got a perfect space right in front so did not need to go to the garage. MAKE sure you feed the meter, I watched people getting tickets!! The meter maids are on foot, so it was not easy to see them coming. It is best to keep your meter fed. Happy hour available for $1 off beers. Many other specials; see my pictures or check out their website. Clean restrooms. Cool art outside the building; see pictures. A small gift shop. Service - Jon did a good job. Patient. And checked up on us often. Price - $40 + generous tip. I think it was a little expensive for what we got. The meal came out to "two" beers and a wrap; really just enough food for one person. But because we are light eaters, it was enough for us. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1997. My goal is to join the line next year for Pliny The Young!!! Wish me luck.

But…read morewhen I go I always walk away with an evil grin on my face as they completely satisfy my cravings. I recently stopped in to checkout their much hyped classic clubhouse sandwich. Just so that you know, I consider myself to be a club sandwich connoisseur and wanted to confirm of Ozzie's could enter my golden circle of club sandwiches. First - the service. Super friendly people who have no problem with accommodating special requests. For example I asked if they could add a slice of cheese and was asked "Swiss, Cheddar, American"? . That's music to my ears! Second- the ingredients. I love that they feature locally sourced bread products. Mine was prepared with Franco-American sourdough. And it's always fantastic! Third- Unlike a lot of club sandwiches, you don't have to decide between turkey or ham, they include both! And if you aren't a fan of either, they do offer a chicken club option. The final verdict! Five star awesome! The sandwich was perfectly stacked with tons of meat products. And extra credit for the extra large slice of cheddar cheese which covered the entire sandwich. And a huge shoutout to the crinkle fries (included with your order). I'm a huge crinkle fries fan and these were awesome!
