My update - I went back 4 days later to talk to the boss. I showed him my ruined cushions and he shook his head and said I'm sorry, yes, they got tumbled. I said, why? I was told they would be hand-cleaned, NOT tumbled! He shook his head again saying I don't know. He told the clerk to issue my $70 refund. When I first asked for a refund, and the clerk telephoned the boss, my intuition tells me that the boss said, tell her to bring them back in 4 days when I'm here -- as a TEST to see if I'd come back. Well, I did! And I wish I would have taken the owner to small claims court! I could have recovered the cost of tailoring the ruined cushions OR paid for a set of new cushions, approximately $250. read more

They have continuously broken buttons on my shirts and still asking customer to pay for the service. The girl who works the front desk is extremely rude and calling a customer a b****. She yelled and screamed and acted like a child because we refuse to pay for a broken item. I would never recommend this cleaners. They can't hire people who have customer service skills and who berate customers. read more

Counter service young man was not rude but certainly not friendly upon my in-store visit yesterday to request a second bag for my home delivery service. We selected them after relocating from Houston and wanted the convenience of home pick up and delivery. We have been using them for a few weeks with no issues but when I requested a Second bag to fully utilize the twice a week service I was told I would need to pay $10 for an additional bag. Bottom line is they offer home pick up and delivery but if you want to fully utilize it, you will need to pay $10. read more

Now that I have a job which DOESN'T involve serving alcohol to corporate-types, I am forced to wear suits to work. Daily. Seeing as how all the work clothes I had BEFORE landing this gig were dickie pants and bar slut shirts, I spent about a thousand dollars buying work clothes before I even got my first check. That being said, I wanted a REALLY GOOD cleaners in hopes that I wouldn't need to buy replacements for clothes damaged in the cleaning process. Even though I live in Arlington, I went to Village because my dad goes here. My dad is a prima donna who has his suits custom made for him, so I figured his cleaners would be expensive - but worth it. WRONG! First off, this place is so expensive because you get your own bag (WOOO HOOO) with a barcode that links to your account and has your name, address, and phone on it. All of these things were incorrect on my ticket, and it took me two visits to get them to key in the right info.! They also charge more because they "deliver", though I'm not sure where to. My dad lives about 2.0 mi (if not less) from this place, but it's "too far" for them to pick up and drop off his laundry. The first time I went, they mixed all my clothes with my dad's (even though we have separate accounts, bags, and barcodes) and were irritated when I insisted they split our clothes and bills because we're SEPARATE CUSTOMERS. I then got home to discover I was missing a dress, which made me really irritated because it's a far drive. Second moment of truth: My clothes were uncomfortably tight (shrinkage??? I doubt I gained 10 lbs. between 6am and 5pm), the down comforter I got back had NEW stains on it, and the green sweater I dropped off came back more on the blue side. I'm actually wearing the sweater right now, and I have to go home and change because I feel lightheaded from my shirt WREAKING of cleaner fumes. I smell like I work for Stanley Steamer. We have been coming here for years and no complaints. Though recently I took my husbands suit up there and it came back smelling like ... well the closest thing I can compare it too is cat urine. I picked it up at closing Saturday, and took it back when they were open on Monday. They did a free re-do, came back smelling a little better but still like cat urine, with a note on it, saying it smells bad but it wasn't all the way fixed. Right now we are trying to air it out in hopes it will be better, but we will take it else where if it won't fix. One bad time out of years of use isn't enough to write it off, they did it again for free, but still. read more

it's unfortunate when a cleaners destroys your garment and you ask to be reimbursed for 1/2 and they say no. Don't think I'll be back.

Great cleaners. NEVER open on time. I find it very disrespectful to its customers to advertise opening at 6:30 and that is NOT the case. As much as I love their work last week 2 days in a row I waited 20 minutes and no one ever opened. My time is worth something, too. JJ's cleaning is a block down. I'm switching. read more

I have just moved to the area and looked up ratings for dry cleaners. Although this one didn't have good reviews, the reviews were old and I needed somewhere close to home for dry cleaning. I went in, mentioned the bad reviews, asked if their techs are trained not to burn cloths and asked if anyone smokes. The clerk was gracious handling my list of concerns - if I were to do this in a restaurant who knows what I would find in my food - but I just had to ask because I did not want to replace my favorite clothes. I left my 12 garments and crossed my fingers. I picked my clothes up today and they were WONDERFUL! Not only was I pleasantly surprised but it is probably one of the best jobs done on my clothes ever. I'm so happy. I will go back, I will recommend them, and just so you know, I think the prices were great too. read more

We have used this cleaners for five years and enjoyed the delivery service. The past few months my husband has had missing buttons or mishaps with his shirts. I just sent my sons brand new dress shirt to cleaners and it came back with a note saying there were stains on it they couldn't get out. I'm going to change cleaners. read more

Just so sad to see one of the best cleaners in Colleyville decline in their quality of service. I've already had multiple garnets ruined and staff lacked the integrity of acknowledging their mistakes. Please beware! I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This used to be one of the finest cleaners I had experienced. Left town for about 2 years, came back and the entire staff is different. New manager doesn't care. I brought back a silk shirt that had what looked like bleach stains, and she replied, 'it was there before we got it' cleaning fluid smells bad, they laundered silk and linen shorts and then pressed with starch. All in all, and absolute horror show. Total poor customer service with I don't care attitude. Don't bring anything there you care about. Notice the Date on their last accolade.....2012, that's about right, was great a couple years ago, now a horror show. read more

The people are nice,work is good, but they have lost large number of my clothes.

This the worst dry cleaner in Colleyville. The staff is inexperienced and the management staff is never there. I spent about $300 a month there and on the last drop off they burnt the lapel of a Hugo Boss suit and pressed over the buttons on another Hugo Boss suit took them back in to try and get them fixed and they bleached the burnt one to get rid of the burn marks and somehow stabbed the other one twice all the way through. I think it may have been on purpose. I have been trying for days to talk to a manager. Go across the street to get your dry cleaning done. If you are looking for a job they are always hiring. They need at least one good employee. If it was an option to give zero stars I would have. read more

This review is very late but I wanted to add that I met with the owner and we agreed on a dry-cleaning credit amount that was fair. Since I had to initiate this meeting, I did suggest to him that in the future he should address complaints when they are made so that he can show he has character. This cleaner went from good to bad. Pants coming back with creases at the knee bend, suit coats wrinkled. Brought it their attention and the comment was "we don't have that problem". Switched to Twin Kell and had them repress two suits that Village had done a poor job on. Perfect. Adios Village! I want a cleaner that does a good job and wants to keep my business. They ruined a dress I brought in here. Turned the white to beige. The manager fought me for a week and never compensated me for the damages, nor did they own up to the damage. Avoid this business. Unprofessional, childish, irresponsible. read more
