Eggs Benedict minus the eggs AND hollandaise sauce
    Linzy L.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict and asked for the ham on the side, my bf ordered the 1/2 lb. Chicken-Fried Steak & Eggs with pancakes. Village inn put the ham on the side, HOWEVER, they didn't include the poached eggs/hollandaise sauce that goes with the Eggs Benedict AND they didn't include the side of pancakes that went with my boyfriend's meal. The whole point in paying extra by ordering DoorDash is so you don't have to leave the house, but in this case I had to do BOTH! The assistant manager (Nick) did address the issue and resolved it, but that was only after acting like I was lying even though I provided photos and called immediately after receiving my food.

It's a Village Inn so you get what you expect. Free Pie Wednesdays are from 10 am to 10 pm and it's only a selection of pies so sadly the banana crème pie is not always an option. Service is friendly and it seems like they are friendly with their regulars. It's kinda sweet. The food is okay. It's definitely a cheaper brunch option available. The VIB is always a good selection to get a variety of four choices. The crepe is now considered a supreme item for $1.25 more. The sausage and bacon are good as well as the country potatoes.

He didn't want me to make breakfast so we headed to Village Inn. The private lot was a little busy but we found parking. Were seated right away and our server came over to take our order. Went with the Inn-credible VIB so I could have eggs, bacon, sausage links and hash browns. The hash browns were meh - more like instant than made from scratch. The bacon average and the links ok. It wasn't the best meal but it was fine for a no cooking breakfast morning. The server was pleasant and helpful. Pretty regular turnover of people but we didn't feel rushed.

    Pot roast mmm

I woke up today craving pot roast so while I was out running errands Village Inn was on my route. I said if anyone has pot roast then they would. I normally make my own but I didn't have the meat defrosted. I'm so glad i came in as this roast was on time. It totally satisfied my pot roast craving. The server Kyle was very courteous and made sure I was taken care of.

I'm being generous with my 2 star review!! For 3 days straight we haven't been able to order delivery or pick up from their direct website! It appears there's a problem with the order receiving area .... The order either comes up with an error or a cancellation directly from Village Inn When I called I was told by a manager that it wasn't a problem on their end .... Again this has happened 3 days straight !!

Huevos rancheros with fresh, grilled jalapeños!! Really darn good!!

I'm continually impressed by the quality of food they serve here! The staff are very caring individuals as well! Place has quick turnaround on its customers and table prep is really good. For a solid dining experience, breakfast, lunch or dinner, this Village Inn satisfies and is not expensive. Update: 3/2/2019 Slow Saturday and only one girl for each section for food service and bussing. The floors are filthy and the tables aren't very clean. I see a couple people who look managerial but stay in the back area. I don't see much teamwork going on as the one young girl is stressed doing everything by herself. The other side of the restaurant is being vacuumed and looks cleaner too. Maybe Leann just needs better training? She was too eager for us to make our order quickly, but then neglected to follow up with us when we were ready. And the bathroom was gross too. Hit and miss I guess.

"Chop-steak", double mash and Texas toast.

This location is one of the worst in Denver. The quality of food has gone way down hill. I used to enjoy the food here, but not anymore. Prices are the same but portions are smaller. The Chop-steak is nothing more than an over-well-done single beef patty, that resembles a pork flavor and no seasoning. Chop-steak is ground sirloin, this was closer to cheap burger for big price.

Came here for this first time , Got seated very fast . But over all wasn't impressed. Just a regular diner / Breakfast spot . Friend got a hair in his food , & that made me lose my appetite unfortunately. But I'm their favor they did take it off the bill and fix it but just not a great first impression .

Why is the filling lumpy, and why are those holes on top of this?

Have a cup of cofffee, omelette, and maybe a milkshake; you might leave stuffed full, but not upset. I enjoyed a Greek Omelette and a cup of coffee while my wife ordered biscuits and gravy. I paid extra for the bear claw french toast. The bear claw itself had been underbaked and was still raw dough in the middle so it kinda just tasted like yeasty jam with scrambled egg on the outside. Bit of a let down. Might need to try to make that at home but actually good. The blackberry arnold palmer I had was pretty nice. Around the table was similarly hit or miss.
