My go to breakfast was and still is an egg white american cheese omelet with turkey sausage inside the omelet.

Happy 2025, Yelpers! I was surprised that I hadn't reviewed The Tubby Olive so here it is…read more.. When The Tubby Olive had left their space some time ago at the Reading Terminal Market (see my review!) I was quite disappointed as it was a very regular stop for me to get my fair share of olive oil and flavored balsamic dressings. But, their main shop in Newtown, PA is not too long of a drive to continue to make the trip to get my oils and balsamic. Also, Newtown has some other great shops and restaurants so it makes for a nice day trip. Tubby Olive has dozens of oils and balsamic in all kinds of awesome flavors stored in metal tubs that allow you to sample every single one if you so desired. They have two main sizes of bottles, but then they also have tiny bottles for some nice gift sets already put together. You can sign up for the frequent customer discount where after nine bottles your tenth is free. The store is quaint with old wooden floors and I've never had any bad customer service. I tend to rotate between the Traditional 18-Year Balsamic and the Fig Balsamic, and for oils they separate them between mild, medium, and robust. I tend to like the different mild oils and choose one on the spot after trying them. I'm more than happy to give Tubby Olive my business. You should, too. Very quality products. Prices have risen in recent times, but I still come back. Large bottles are about $40 and regular $20.

I also like how you can taste them before you buy. No matter what you like you will be able to find a vinegar that matches your pallette and dish that you are cooking. As far as Olive Oil, we prefer the robust blends but they have medium and mild as well. They are always mixing it up so they have a big variety. They also have infused olive oil. I like the blood orange to mix with the fruit infused balsamics for a salad dressing. You can shop in the store store if you like samples. They also ship and have the same selection on line. So if you cannot make it into the store, you can still order their great products. The bottom line is it is worth the drive to browse the store and sample the selections. This is the place to get all of your olive oil or balsamic vinegar.

I will start of by saying that the staff here is great and the store is always easy to navigate. It is a bit older of a store so it's a little dark inside but it is also always busy which makes it feel much more lively. they have extensive produce, a large cheese section and prepared food section. Their bakery is nice as well. Actually their cookies are some of my favorite grocery store cookies. The prices can be a bit high but when they have sales they are usually fairly good. I feel like it's a slightly "fresher" and "healthier" store but I have had a hard time finding more unique healthy items. Overall it's a great store, it's not my local store but it's nice to pop in when I'm in the area to pick up some items that the stores near me don't carry.

I watched her interactions with the two guests ahead of me and was honestly surprised by how unhappy and disengaged she appeared. There were no smiles, no warmth, and her overall demeanor gave the impression that she disliked her job, disliked dealing with customers, and simply did not want to be there. As a business owner myself, I understand how important customer relationships are. The checkout counter is often the final impression a guest leaves with, and something as simple as a friendly smile or kind interaction goes a very long way when customers are spending their hard-earned money. I am from out of town and expected much more from what appears to be a boutique-style grocery store with a strong community feel. Stores like Trader Joe's are a great example of how positive, friendly interactions at checkout can completely elevate the customer experience. I even went so far as to ask Delaney if she was having a bad day, and the glaring stare I received in return ultimately prompted me to write this review. To be clear, I am not looking for anyone to lose their job. I simply believe some coaching in guest relations and customer interaction could make a tremendous difference. Delaney is very young, and I genuinely hope she either finds more joy in what she's doing or moves into something better suited for her personality and interests. Constructive feedback is meant to help businesses improve, and I hope this is received in that spirit.

I was there to check out their breakfast options shown on a large white board on the wall. I went with the Sausage, Egg & Cheese on Potato Roll. There was a slight disconnect between the order taker in long gingham and bonnet and the short order cook handling the grill. Still, they worked out their confusion and I walked away with a heavy sandwich for consumption at my desk. Have to admit, it was one of the best of this genre I have had the pleasure to ingest bite by slow bite. The double egg fold over cushioned a double weight sausage patty and double American cheese slices, with a fresh soft roll bracketing this major opus. It was a joy to eat. Very easy to forgive any confusion when the finished product makes your day! It was substantial and delicious. Mark it down on the short list of excellent local breakfasts. Too bad it is in the farmers market and only open three days a week. But, I did load up on goats milk and kielbasa from the other vendors while I was there. All the Amish ambiance anyone could ever want.

Informed me that unless it is spoiled will not compensate. They purchase the pudding from a third party and put in their containers, the person must of seen the disks and put in container any way. My second thought is how much spoil stuff do they sell. They lost a couple of thousand dollars of business for their lousy customer service.
