Cheesesteaks, burgers, hotdogs and over 25 sandwich creations to choose from. Today we had the roast pork and the "Southampton" sans the arugula and long hots - I got mine hot and it ranks in the top 4 of my best chicken sandwiches to date. The crumbles of sharp provolone took it to the next level. The pork was juicy tender and full of flavor. What shines even better than the quality tasty food here at Cerruti's is the staff. A crew that cares about what they are doing and want to make sure it's done right. The owner personally came out to check on us and the surrounding tables to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. A bit later we were checked on yet again to see if there was anything else we needed. This is a level of authenticity that you just don't find anymore. I deliberately seek out small businesses to support, and this is the level of commitment to their craft that speaks volumes to me. It is what will keep me coming back. Not to mention there are many other sandwiches on this menu that I must try! 5+ stars I highly recommend you check this place out.

In my opinion Café Carmela is the best restraunt in the greater Philadelphia area. To start off the…read morefood is amazing. The quality that they provide every single time I step foot into that establishment is unparallel. Don Cheech's steak has the perfect ratio of cooper sharp to ribeye to the fried onions. The tender seeded roll is a fantastic touch to an already great sandwich. Another thing to point out is that the value of this place is insane. Right now Don Cheech's steak sits at $16.00 including tax. If you compare that to Angelos pizzerias "Cheesesteak" which is $21.06 including tax for an arguably inferior meal is mental. The service at Café Carmella is always personalized to you. They almost always take the time out of their day to recommend you something based on what else you have ordered which is extremely helpful if your indecisive. Another great thing to point out is the overly friendly environment that they provide. I've never seen a speck of dust or dirt in the place the countless of times that I have eaten here. Finally the location is ideal, If your like myself and you love a sweet treat after a great meal. Your in luck because the Huntingdon valley location sits directly next to a south Philly staple Johns water ice which is an authentic classic. Overall if you are even remotely in the area and your interested in having a high quality dining experience I highly recommend it.

Still we decided to share their American Boi Pizza and Carm's Parm Chicken with Drunken Rigatoni. The tomato pie was excellent (especially the first few slices right from the oven) which was perfectly crisp (no flop) and just the right char. It was superior to the parmigiana dinner platter, whose chicken was a bit dry due to being so thinly malleted and uncovered from lack of a fuller spoonful or two of red gravy. The Rigatoni was also in limited supply on the plate, but did hold the vodka blush well, which was pretty good. Service was exceptional, as our waitress engaged us warmly from welcome to final salutation. She was attentive and clearly took our satisfaction to heart. Five Star American Boi; Three Star Chicken Parm. No bread for the table. 3.5 Stars overall.

From the street it has a really cool look and the inside leans into an industrial style with a great aesthetic. It's a comfortable space with a nice vibe. We ordered a couple of cocktails: a lemon drop and a Manhattan. Strategically we decided to split a Detroit-style pizza called the Iron Pig. Good call because one square was the perfect amount for dinner. And now we have a few meals to heat up for the next few days. The drinks were excellent and the pizza was outstanding. Great flavor. Our server Ally was welcoming and friendly and top notch on service. It is the middle of winter so we weren't considering outside dining, but they have a great outdoor space near the street. Looks like a fun place to hang out. It's definitely a place we'd consider visiting again.
