I could see it getting a bit busier and being hard to get through. They had a great selection of everything, but was really stoked on their solid selection of old and new jazz back in the far right. They also have a really cool limited edition section that you can peruse through and find some really good stuff if that's your thing. Today I stopped by to make a donation and was helped by a lovely woman about my age. We talked politics and demonstrations, of which there were many today, and agreed we no longer demonstrated, though we did in our youth. I wrote a check to the Down Home Music Foundation and they will mail me a receipt. It's a great cause and I wish them the very best in their endeavor.

It can be hard to find this spot if you have not visited before! It is located in Sausalito City Hall on the 2nd floor, upstairs from the library. They have a small selection of letterpress cards and prints. The kids' area is crowned by a 1970s-inspired hand painted owl mural. It's a very small bookstore. Well curated. We left a little more inspired than when we walked in.
